Eli spent time and effort understanding my case and preparing for my court date. He reviewed the evidence and video footage and dominated the courtroom. Almost 2 years ago today I made the very difficult decision to end my 2 decades of marriage after my "I do" became an "I don't". The associated legal process of separation and divorce in North Carolina is complex; however consulting with and ultimately hiring Theresa E. Viera was a life-saving move on my part. Theresa is a great teacher and explains each part of the process in a manner that allows you to make the best decisions possible during a highly emotional time. She is well respected in the community and the courthouse and runs a firm full of legal experts who are life-saving. I ended my process successfully and could not have done so without Theresa and her team guiding me, checking in on me, and ushering me into the next phase of my life. Although divorce is a sad situation, she led me to a place of celebration. I really could not have asked for a better situation.

I am a resident of another state and Theresa Viera represented me in a case in North Carolina. I was unfamiliar with various antiquated laws in N.C. I initially hired a different attorney/firm and that experience was awful. I was quite scared about what could happen with my case and I luckily found new representation in Theresa. What a difference maker. She was well-versed on the specific laws and right away made me feel less stressed. She was compassionate, thorough, attentive, and took her time to make sure I understood every nuance of the case, as well as my options. I could not have asked a better attorney to act on my behalf. From the beginning of this legal process (after being referred to Katie from a trusted, astute lawyer), to hearing the verdict of my DWI and Unsafe driving charge being dismissed, to now starting the process of getting my charges expunged, I am soooo happy that I made the right choice in trusting Katie with my life! I approached the Law Office of Kelli Allen in about February of this year ( 2023) to help me submit my Green Card Application. I was assigned to Berna Chacon- a bilingual specialist in data accumulation for Green Card submissions. Thank G-d I was. She was absolutely outstanding. I mean truly- it took me a while to accumulate the necessary data ( necessary being whatever Berna told me to put together) and we submitted my application in June of this year. Today is November 24, 2023, and guess what- I have my Green Card Truly great work by Berna -what a help she was! I couldnt have done it so seamlessly without her!. Prices at this office are reasonable to. And nice, and accomodating people! I would go out of my way to recommend this law office and Berna to handle anybody's immigration matters. What a great job they did and I am one happy camper!

Initially, I was very nervous about choosing an attorney. However, my first (no commitment) meeting with a McIlveen attorney in July 2015 was pretty satisfactory. Last week we had our mediation which wrapped up all the loose ends and I think the final deal was fair to both parties. My Attorney, Anna Carpenter did an excellent job by remembering all the details, having all documents ready on her laptop and being very competent in her work. So, thanks you Anna.

Alan is a sophisticated professional. Wow, did I say wow?!!!! He will tell you up front EXACTLY what will happen with your case. Also known as the truth, which (by the way you probably already know.) My advise is to just let him do his job -that he is more than capable of doing. Don't ask too many questions or get yourself worked up. Alan will tell you in advance almost the exact outcome of your case to a t. In the end you can feel good about him as a human being because he won't resort to less than favorable behaviour. And by that I mean other attorneys who have to use immature tactics to make up for what they lack as men. Although it is quite entertaining to watch some of them!!! Especially JIM WARREN!!! Andrew is an extremely effective attorney. I started out with a different attorney for my difficult child custody case. I did not feel that my prior attorney had my best interest in mind and was doing only the bare minimum in preparing my case. I decided to seek other representation.
I hired Andrew very late in the process, with my TPA hearing only 2 weeks away. Andrew was able to put together a very solid and sensible case based on the facts, far superior to what was done previously for me.
Right away, I noticed a dramatic difference in the way Andrew was handling and preparing my case, compared to my previous attorney. I was extremely impressed with how quickly Andrew got up to speed and reviewed/prepared all of the evidence in such a short amount of time. He is organized and stays on top of everything. In addition, he made himself very available to me, whether it was just questions I had, or any concerns or updates that I needed to know. He continued to work diligently throughout the entire weekend prior to my hearing.
Andrew has a unique ability to look at the facts, makes sense of your case, and then present them in a very intelligent and articulate way. Andrew is the entire reason I now have joint custody of my 4-month-old son and that he is being returned to his home state.
I am immensely grateful to Andrew for his hard work in fighting for my rights as a father. I absolutely recommend Andrew as an attorney. My only regret is that I did not find Andrew initially. Child custody cases are very expensive so it is critical that you hire an attorney that will work hard and fight for your parental rights. Andrew Rheingrover is that man.

Andrew has been a huge blessing and supporter in my case! I spoke to him in a consultation a couple of months prior to my separation and he took his time and listened and took notes of everything that I said to him. After speaking with him, I knew immediately that he was who I wanted to represent me if I needed him ( I had spoken to 3 other attorneys prior to meeting Andrew). Shortly after my separation, I had papers served to me from my ex to try and get full custody of our daughter. I was devastated, hurt and in disbelief that my ex would ever do something like this. I immediately contacted Andrew to let him know what was going on and he jumped on my case instantly. Andrew is very caring, knowledgeable, and a man of his word. Throughout this process he has been very pro-active and with all the stress that comes along with a separation/divorce/custody case; Andrew has a way to put you at ease. Joel decided to take my $250 consultation fee to get on the phone with me and tell me he couldn’t help me nor was he familiar with the area of law I was needed help in. His information was recommended to me off the MeckBar site for the issue I needed. I sent my requested paperwork in on 8/13 and Instead of emailing me saying “Hey I can’t help with the area you need” he opted to ask me to do paid phone consultation 48 hours later for $250. Immediately upon our phone call he tells me he’s not familiar with the area of law nor would he know a defense. I asked if I would then get a refund for the consultation or lack there of. He said no.

My brother is an out of town landlord.
With no experience in carolina Real estate law. He asked for my help since I have some experience with Landlord tenet issues, however, again, not in carolina. After doing some research, I selected Arnold andSsmith law firm And i'm very happy that I did. The attorney we worked with was Pamela Williams. She was polite, efficient responsive,
and understanding. She was extremely easy and pleasant to work with. She quickly handled and resolved our problems for a very reasonable fee. I cannot attest about the other attorneys in the firm as I only worked with Pamela, but I suspect they are of equal caliber. If you find yourself indeed over assistance with real estate law in north carolina, I highly recommend Pamela Williams and the Arnold Smith law firm. She will get my call the next time we have issues in that region. I should add that even the receptionists and office staff were very pleasant on the phone.
