When searching for lawyers for my fathers DUI case, I came across several lawyers but from the few that I spoke with over the phone or in person, no one came close to David. From start to finish he was so kind, understanding and responsive! When meeting with him I truly appreciated his honesty and expertise regarding options and knew that we would be in good hands moving forward with him. He is very knowledgeable about the Anoka court system and was very patient and in explaining the process with my father and I. In the end the case was able to be dismissed! I reached out to Kelly regarding my wrongful conviction for domestic violence which was preventing me from owning/possessing a fire. If it wasn’t for my love of hunting specifically with my dad I probably would’ve gone on with my life but instead I explained my situation to Kelly, she sounded positive about restoring my rights. Took a few months but the wait paid off. I now have my conceal carry and the joy of being able to purchase weapons. More importantly I get to hunt with my dad without looking over my shoulder. Chris handled a case of mine over a year ago, and throughout the year, some things came up that Chris really had no responsibility to address as he had successfully done his job with a fantastic sentencing outcome but he always took the time to follow up with me. I've had another criminal attorney who was supposed to ranked very highly and the fact is after the case was over, I couldn't get a word out of him unless it involved paying more. Chris is a stand up attorney, remembered the facts of my case for an entire year and when he was able to help, he did so, and as a secondary outcome, we applied for and got an early dismissal from probation and on my record a year after. Chris is by far the best attorney I have worked with and I highly recommend him. When I am able to get my case expunged in two years, Chris will be my immediate go-to.

I am a business owner who has lived primarily out-of-state since 1981. I have a second home in Minnesota. My situation occurred in 2017, after a cop harassed me for nearly an hour in a parking lot. Unfortunately, this occurred in a suburb whose cops are notorious for harassing innocent people. I was "guilty" of driving with expired plates, and knew it; I'd been out of town working, forgot to renew the plates on the car I keep in Minnesota. I apologized to the cop but he continued harrassing me. Oddly, he did not write me a ticket. Instead, he spent nearly all of his time asking me irrelevant personal questions (e.g., about other cars I own but do not drive).
Months later, I received a court document that I did not understand. According to the document, I was facing several thousands of dollars in fines and a jail sentence. Without hesitation, I retained Mr. Sessoms. The conclusion was that the judge let me off with a year's probation- no fine, no jail time. This would not have happened without Faison Sessoms's exceptional creative thinking and guidance. An important PS is that I have twice before seen Mr. Sessoms in action; throughout the years. I don't know of another Minnesota attorney with his experience- he really knows his way around the court systems- and knowledge of this state's judges. (It was actually a retired judge who recommended him to me.) I have not hesitated to recommend his services to others, who were equally pleased with his services- and hence I am doing so, now. I've never had to deal with the court system until a year and a half ago. I was referred to Mr. Sessoms through a friend of mine. Needless to say that I was scared and didn't know what to do. Mr. Sessoms took hold of the reins and got me the best deal that I could have come out with. He was always there to answer questions and always answered the phone. No runarounds. Carolyn represented me a right before she took a job with the Federal Public Defenders Office. I was referred to her by the Child sex abuse and defense resource center in Cleveland. After she excepted the public defender job she turned me over to an associate she had worked with who also did a fantastic job. I had been falsly accused by my than 23 year old daughter. Four counts of criminal sexual mis-conduct in the first degree. After three years and turning down a plea for no jail time, I took it to a jury trial. It took a jury about an hour to find me not guilty on all 4 counts. I had two great lawyers. Carolyn in the beginning and her associate Nancy who took it over. I owe them both so much and can never thank them enough. I would give them both a 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.

On December 17, 2021, I was accused of committing a crime I didn't do. I was slammed with 2 counts of Felony charges. I found Jennifer Speas to represent me. When I got to her office to meet her one-on- one, she was already prepared. She had analyzed my case and she was ready for a defense. She made a move to dismiss the charges but I had the most difficult prosecutor at that time so she refused to dismiss. Jenniferr was always ready for Trial because I insisted not to settle for any plea that would ruin my life. Jennifer also brought in another Defense Attorney who is equally good. She didn't charge me for it. She paid him from her retainer. She and the co-counsel were bent on defending me with everything they've got. They kept fighting and fighting for me.
We started the first trial in December 2023 but the judge dismissed the jury on day 3 because the prosecutor kept hiding information from the defense.
We were ready to start the second Trial on August 12, 2024. The new prosecutor dismissed the case on August 8, 2024.
Jennifer is very professional, very knowledgeable and determined to get you the best outcome. I highly recommend Jennifer Speas for your defense any day. Don't think about it. Just hire her.

Five stars doesn’t feel like enough to give this team, so I encourage you to read this entire review as what happened to my family was life-changing. Three years ago, my husband had a routine surgery and developed severe complications just hours following. The lack of care received following his surgery ultimately impacted our entire future. My husband is permanently disfigured and his relationship with myself and our children was deeply fractured. Being is a situation of being wrongfully terminated out of the blue by DHS was devastating and there was a number of us all in the same situation together. I was looking at 5 years in prison for felony weapons charges, and the original plea bargain was 3 years in prison with my first lawyer. So I fired him and retained Arthur. When everything was said and done, with Arthur's representation, I was sentenced to 8 months in the workhouse and 5 years of unsupervised probation.
