I write this review with my case still on-going. I feel that no matter the end result, my daughter and I received the best representation possible. I had a previous divorce attorney before hiring Mario. After exhausting my entire retainer and always feeling like they worked for the other side, I started my search for a new attorney/firm. I hit the jackpot with Mario and his firm. I know everyone involved in divorce believes that they are right and their ex-partner is wrong. I now know the difference when you hire an attorney that also believes in your rights and fights for your best interest without ever over-promising.

I am a single woman with 2 minor daughters & my ex & I had been separated for 3 yrs. He had finally filed for divorce. I had gone to a few male attorneys for a consultation before I came to Argentino & Jacobs. Every time I left a male attorney's office, I was in tears wondering what I was going to do. Carolyn was a great advocate from the beginning. She was firm, smart and detailed. Carolyn took the time to understand my complex financial situation that involved me being self-employed as well as having several complex trust matters.
I was willing to "give away the farm" at the onset of proceedings, but Carolyn was able to settle my case for a much less than I had anticipated.
I originally chose Carolyn because I felt she could "play nice" in a settlement scenario, but also be fierce should we have had to go to trial.

Had a consultation with this lawyer based on my friends great recommendation. Not only I left the consultation with the bad taste in my mouth I also spent 400$ for nothing. It was supposed to be a Strategic Planning Session but it more felt like a Judging Session as the lawyer was extremely arrogant and judged me by my income telling me quote "I couldn't afford her" because I am a beautician. Had I been a CFO like my ex that I was divorcing I am sure she would have had different approach. She told me that my divorce didn't matter and I should get some money and move on and I am not entitled to anything except a little bit of child support. I had a lawyer who now proved that she is fantastic, but at the time she wasn't answering my email so I was looking to change my lawyer and this is how i ended up in Hollys office, which I regretted going to. I felt discriminated based on my race and income.

A family member was working with him for an issue related to A2 in order to get his property back. The case resulted in in the property being destroyed. The old guy refused to answer any of my family members questions other than just keeps sending me the state statue that literally makes no sense for the case. Upon asking questions, he would go on to ignore them and considered the matter closed without my consent. I continued and pressed hime for details and clarification but he processed to ignore emails and false accuses of harassment when my family member trying to answers for his case.... he refused to meet the contractual agreement and obligation for which he was paid. The guy is either drunk or losing his mind as he kept calling my family member at 9am at night to yell at me and make threats towards me then processed to say "I will make you pay for this" among other threats.
As others have stated.... he will YELL at you due his lack of knowledge and unethical business. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Mr. Zwillman seems to have a drinking problem as has yelled back on the phone multiple times for no reason, he does not follow up on calls or emails and he routinely forgets stuff that you have talked to him in the past. In addition, any requests you making regarding an itemized bill, he will refuse and yell treats at you. I would avoid this old man at all costs… seems to have lost his mind given his age.

I could not speak more highly of Mr. Zwillman. He’s a class act, well respected amongst the judges, police, and the entire judicial system. His years of experience are unmatchable. He listens, he advocates, and he fights for the best possible outcome (it has always been exactly that for me.) I have the upmost respect for him and his patience with me. I cannot thank Mr Ku, Kevin W. enough for his great due diligence on my case. He resolve my case within 2-months, an unbelievable time, base on many lawyers I talked before him. Best thing is that he did not promise me any time, he just delivered it.
After realizing that a con law firm was ripping me off for last 7 months with not clue of ending the case. Unable to see any light at end of the tunnel, I was heartbroken and clueless. With my faith on second chance, I started to look for a lawyer for second opinion. I virtually talked to 5 lawyers in the area, all of them offered 15 to 30 mins free consultation time, but none give me time to speak. It was time the layers used to collect my information and advertising their firm. Some of them even asked me to signup for follow up session or retain their office while on the phone!
My search for a layer stopped after talking to Mr. Ku. The only questions he asked me was “Tell me what happened?” I was given a time to explain my issue without interruption. My questions were answered with reasonable follow up questions. He listened and he heart me! I first asked him to review my case for a second opinion, but I changed my mind an hour later. I called him back to ask if can take over my case. As soon as Mr. Ku agreed to take my case, I fired my sloppy lawyer! That was my best decision of year 2021.

You'd hire the best heart surgeon, I'd count on Bob Dunn if I needed the best attorney. In a critical situation, his years of experience can make a major difference in the outcomes. Bob consulted with our parents group on issues with teen drinking, parents hosting, and the consequences. He opened our eyes about our responsibilities and how we can help our teens stay safe. He's a great speaker and his presentation made a real impact. All parents and teens should hear what he has to say and benefit from his knowledge. I can only speak for the outcome of our child custody case. In the early stages of our case, prior to hiring him, he told us there was the Tender Years Doctrine that he could use an an argument in our case. Having never heard of that, and going online to Google it, found out that has not been used in many years, because it was deemed to violate the equal protection clause of the Fourteenth Amendment. When we questioned him on that, he backed away from it.
It seemed as though he was attentive, and he spent time with us going over all our notes. But in the end, on the most important day in court, it was like he just wasn't 'there'. He didn't much object to anything from the other side, didn't challenge the important evidence, and overall left us to flounder.
We cannot speak for other cases he handles, for which he may be perfectly fit. But in our personal experience with him on an important child custody case, we felt he was a poor choice for our situation.
