Family member ended up not going to court, and Rebecca negotiated a fair deal between the spouses. It was a difficult situation between a couple in their 70’s. After meeting with this attny, I felt for the first time after 3 years of abuse, that I will finally be ok. Ive come across no attorney that could handle my abuser or understand his covert tactics better than Victoria. She really listens and knows how to make sense of what a battered distressed woman is unable but trying to say. From the experience I had with John Morris, I would not recommend to anyone. I was told at the beginning of my son’s divorce that should be know more than $3000. Only because he doesn’t have any assets at all nor did his ex wife. There are no children involved. Two years later after the ex finally decided to sign the paper work, we get an invoice of an additional $3500 dollars. They said he spent 16 hours on a divorce that had no assets, absolutely no property and no contest. It was just sitting on his desk waiting for the ex to sign. My son was charged $6500 for this. This is unethical.

I found Attorney Spivak through a Google search with the criteria, “impossible PFA cases”. His name popped up and I gave him a call. Long story short, he literally won an impossible PFA case. This man is legit. My fiancé has been in custody courts for 3 and a half years, and this man proved his case with one PFA hearing. I would also say that anyone who may have very complicated custody cases, to talk to Mr Spivak. He’s highly knowledgeable, and this man actually CARES about his clients. He will go to bat for you, he is very direct, and he will tell you what to expect.
I say this with the most sincerity, I do not trust, like or even respect most attorneys. I have never had good experiences with most of them. I feel like they take your money , and that’s it. But this man is the real deal. I would highly recommend Attorney Spivak for any custody/PFA related cases. If I could give ten stars, I would.

I felt Gail was more sympathetic to my ex-spouse's situation, and not as much as mine or my child's plight! During our support negotiation, she didn't "fight" for my son, and instead, advised me to settle for a payment BELOW the minimum recommended payment! I went back later on my own (after she charged me for a very expensive fee to let the court know she no longer represented me) and got more money. I did more on my own without paying her very expensive fees!

Gail was never able to really listen to me, nor did she advocate for me as I thought a true "Super" attorney would. At the end of my two year QDRO case, I wrote Gail, and her two partners, a letter outlining 5 areas in which I was dissatisfied with Gail's work. No one ever answered me. Gail and her firm are very expensive. I would never recommend her. Use someone else who may really listen to you, work for you, and not cost as much.
