After 6 years of struggling to finalize a horrific divorce, I turned to Georgia Petrie and the team at Heritage Law Firm. There were difficult challenges to face. I was states away from home in a area I was unfamiliar with 2 children. Finances were tough. There was a long military family life history. Many lawyers in this area did not understand military life challenges, laws, and rights. Georgia did. I was also harassed, given wrong information to try to scare me into making unwise decisions. I had some serious difficulties with another firm and went to see Glenn for a consultation . He offered me some reassurance and encouraged me to finish my case with the firm I already hired and paid. He told me that if I still felt unsatisfied that he would be happy to take on my case, but that he didn't want me to waste money unnecessarily. He spent the remainder of the hour talking to me and explained how the legal system worked and by the end of our meeting I felt like a weight was lifted from my shoulders.
This was not my only consultation with Glenn, I met him on another occasion and again he offered me sound advice that would save me time and money when I wanted some documents modified.
He really is an honorable and honest guy. For any legal matters, I will only be going to him and his firm from here on out.

Absolutely one of the best decisions I've ever made was choosing Angus Lee for my attorney. I was dealing with a serious criminal offense that I thought could potentially ruin my life. I felt hope immediately upon meeting with Mr. Lee for a consultation. He was cautiously optimistic and realistic at the same time. I was impressed with his confidence and professionalism, and felt that I would not feel as comfortable putting my future in anyone else's hands. There’s saying I remember from my childhood, “be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer & supplication with thanksgiving let it your request be made known to God”. I found myself in a precarious situation that required law services which also required patience. A friend gave me Mr. Lee’s information and I proceeded to contact him. We discussed my situation and realized the gravity of the issues before me. He clearly explained each issue in laymen’s terms and let me understand that the process will take time. Mr. Lee was through and meticulous. Mr. Lee had the ability to keep me engaged in the process and kept me focused on important matters.
The process took a year to complete, but it culminated in a successful litigation, having my charges dropped. The character, deportment, and professionalism of Mr. Lee was exemplary. I’m truly grateful for his services and give Mr. Lee my highest recommendation.

I have retained the Law Firm twice. I was being sued by the county in civic court over a rare firearm violation. Mr. McAleer was trustworthy, professional, and responsible. The final lawsuit judgment was very satisfactory to me. I was so satisfied that I retained one of the attorneys for my divorce, Robert Andersen, straight away without shopping around for other attorneys. Again, I was highly satisfied. I was here reviewing my current lawyer, and thought “why not leave my first lawyer a review”?
Nick got me everything I needed in my initial divorce petition and temporary orders. Even majority custody of my children due to DV which was amazing.
His downfall - Not wanting/ability to withstand a long holding case. *Important for people in my DV similar circumstance*
Once my temporary divorce orders passed, he did not want to continue the case because in his words allegedly over a phone call “If your ex is the abuser you claim him to be and his family has money, I’d feel guilty taking any more money from you because your ex will not relent”. - which is valid, but not comital.
Detrimental to anyone experiencing relentless Domestic Violence.
Note: He DID cover a extra hearing he wasn’t required to under our contract. - This leaves me believing there was a miscommunication between expertise and compensation. I didn't understand that at the time. I wish he was more transparent. He could’ve billed me and I’d have paid him.
Then over a phone call told me it’d cost be $15,000.00 upfront to deal with someone like my ex husband. That was saddening.
Where did that leave me? Having to find another attorney to learn my details. Finding another attorney who understood that amount was unrealistic (for myself) upfront.
He was also hesitant in believing my domestic violence claims. Which is already hard as a survivor and not something you need extra from your lawyer.
Nick did get confused on travel dates I had (I mentioned to him at least 3 times) which caused me to have to purchase extra tickets to return for a child exchange. He blamed me for not reminding him prior to the hearing - but he knew I had mentioned it in general. He generously offered to pay for return tickets acknowledging it was his mistake. This was extra gracious of him.
But if you’re needing a long-standing attorney - who isn’t just in it for the wam and bam, this might make practice questionable. Only leaving my open opinion here for those in a situation similar to mine and looking for long-standing representation.
He did amazing law wise is good hearted. But maybe not so much for my extensive needs and being transparent. Which is critical in a relentless DV case like mine. Now I’m happily continuously paying a different attorney. No billing confusion and they’ve learned my details since the beginning of my case. Like everything in life trial and error - not all (people) attorneys are for everyone and that’s totally okay. Nick was great but it didn’t match

I had contacted Mr. Muenster when I was not sure whether I would need legal advice or not. He actually spent 45 min walking me though the situation and calming me down (without even charging me for his time!). As mentioned by others on this site, it is impressive to watch him in action as he represents you in court. One gets the distinct impression that he has earned the utmost respect from his peers and colleagues in the courtroom from years of distinguished service and an impeccable track record. He’s done his homework, and he presents his arguments in a concise, intelligent, and articulate manner.
The fees for his services are very reasonable, but that should be a lesser consideration in your decision to hire him because he gets results.
Many years ago, I had a life-altering disposition that resulted in a considerable loss of my freedoms. Over the years, Mr. Muenster has adeptly secured provisions; privileges that most people take for granted that were lost as a result of my disposition. One such privilege was my right to vote. On this occasion, Mark convinced me that I could accomplish this “Pro se.” He was very gracious in making time for me on two separate occasions to answer my questions, and did so “pro bono.” With his invaluable expertise, I was granted a Certificate of Discharge by the judge.
Since then, I have presented Mr. Muenster with increasingly more difficult challenges with respect to what I was requesting from the court and he has masterfully delivered on every one of them.
I apologize to any readers or prospective clients who may be annoyed with my lack of specificity regarding the aforementioned “privileges and provisions” (by excluding details of my legal petitions as a matter of privacy), but trust me when I say that I have spoken with, and have been represented by, my share of attorneys from the beginning, until meeting Mark Muenster. Ever since the first time he represented me, I will not consider hiring a different attorney. I regret that fate had not delivered me to his doorstep sooner; I strongly believe my felony disposition would have been much different, or not at all.. So, I have been fb friends or followed Mr Russell for a couple years now & knew when I was ready for bankruptcy he would be the first place I went. He offers a free consultation, & during mine he was so nice & straight forward, explaining everything to me in a way I could understand but did not make me feel dumb lol. I was nervous & left out a pretty big detail (the amount of my debt) & said it was wayyy less than it was (I actually only said the amount of one of my debts) & he told me it would cost more to pay him than for me to pay that debt, & I was like ok & said the total of all my debt, & he looks at me & laughs & was like wait, that's all your debt & not this? Well, that is a different story.. We both laughed at my blonde moment & I knew right there he was my kinda guy haha.. If it was possible to give Brian Walker more than 5 stars we would do so in a heartbeat. When looking for an attorney back in 2020, I had called more than 5 attorneys and each one saw our case as a money case. They wanted money before even going out and speaking to my significant other which was an important thing to us. When I had found out about Brian I called right away and his assistant patched me through to speak to Brian. Brian talked to me over the phone for over an hour talking about my significant others case and what he could see and understand just by glancing at it. The very next day he spoke to my significant other and got down to business. Brian called me right after letting me know how much the total would be to take on his case, I mentioned to him that I was doing this all on my own. He offered me an amount of retainer and the rest to be paid off in payments. When I had the retainer amount ready Brian was actually on a trip but took my significant others file with him just in case something came up & it surely did. That same week Brian came back and appeared in court as my significant others attorney. Brian has worked hard these last 4.5 years on our case. Despite our trial date being pushed out over and over again Brian had us ready either way. He was always ready to answer our questions no matter how big or small the question was. He’s a very sympathetic person when speaking to him outside a court room, but the moment he’s in the court room representing his client he is quick to dismiss any accusation and stand behind his client no matter their race, charges, or attitude. Mrs Kraine has been my lawyer for 5 years now, through 4 cases. When I first met her she was very quick and to the point. I was not sure she had heard me but I trusted my friend who had told me that she was the best and that I wouldn't want to go up against her. Mrs Kraine has never failed to prove just how true that is. That fighting, direct, to the point spirit that you see when you meet her is 100 times stronger when she is in court fighting what she calls " the big bad wolf for you". My last case I was served a 600 page document with multiple accounts of the other party claiming contempt of court. The lawyers both asked for more time to go through the paperwork. Then the judge asked for an extension on the case to go through the 1000 pages that were at her desk by the time it got to her. It took a month and a half for it to go to court. I thought I was done for. The other party had one of top top law firms fighting for them. But Mrs Kraine and her team never gave up on me. They went through every single page multiple times and tuned many of their own words against them. She knows what to fight and what not to fight. In the end the judge found no contempt of court. As Mrs Kraine always does, she will call after a case and celebrate all the little victories in the case. It feels great to see her get so excited about winning a case. It is important to document everything, get her the information she needs quickly and stick with the same lawyer through all your cases. I have won every case with Mrs Kraine fighting for me. I am so glad I chose her from the very beginning not knowing I was going to have to go through so much.

Based on some reviews, I was hesitate to have a consultation with Ms. Krane. However, I glad I did and hired her to help me prepare documents in my case. I could not have prepared them on my own. Ms. Krane took the time to explain each and every documents and what it was for and why I had to respond to each document. She helped me prepare a response and get them filed with the court. While Ms. Krane does have a very direct approach, I found it provided me with what I could expect in my case and how the case would proceed. Ms. Krane is very honest in providing information to her client to help them in the best way possible.

I worked with Caitlin for 16 months on my divorce. I got an email stating that I needed to add money to my trust and soon after, while working to come up with the funds, received an email notifying me that she was withdrawing from my case. I had come up with the money and processed payment immediately. She refused to take my calls and there was no changing her mind via email. I have mediation in a month, no representation, and I’ve given her everything I have. I’m still in complete shock and have no idea what options I have now. I should’ve read more reviews because I now know I’m not the only client she’s suddenly dropped like this. I’m happy to correspond further regarding the specifics of my situation at [redacted]. Told him my expectations and my 4 issues. He was happy to charge me thousands of dollars to always seem to forget that there was more than just one thing to take care of. When I would ask about the other items that he assured me about, he would become condescending and short with me. Didn’t follow thru on the two most important items, and then hindered me from getting the job done myself. His secretary informed me that I could do something on my own to save money then Chris took it away and threw it into the court system which in turn foiled my almost completed task that would have netted me over 25,000 dollars. Now I have nothing but paper “judgements” when I could have gotten my own money . Would NOT answer direct questions and does not keep user friendly invoices to see where your money went. He DOES NOT answer your emails in a timely manner, if at all, yet charges for each email you send. DO NOT RECOMMEND

His website specifically says he is compassionate and will fight for you! My experience with Chris and Stacy is completely the opposite! If he doesnt feel like meeting with you he will absolutely NOT meet with you or take your call, period! It doesnt matter if you desperately need him. He beats to his own drum. By that I mean he will absolutely NOT inform you of all your legal rights, rather how he wants to control you as his client and the outcome of the case as he sees fit not according to your wishes even if its within your right! He will fight with you rather than for you, that was my personal experience. He was definitely not compassionate in my case whatsoever. I say that because he will threaten to withdraw when you are vulnerable and relying on him completely. He took advantage of me being vulnerable and ultimately settling just to get him out of my life. If you want someone that will hold your hand, he absolutely will definitely NOT do so. Ask him how many times he has been divorced before you ever think of hiring him. He had a absolutely no problem taking my money but NEVER fought for me like he fights for himself to get your money.
