Hands down the best law firm! This is my 1st time going through the court system and I was facing 2 felony charges from the same incident. If you’re looking for the best defender in Austin you are in the right place. In my experience attorneys are short and not the best at communicating. Zach was amazing. He contacted me with updates and told me what I needed to do if anything . He did all the leg work for me and in some cases, I didn’t have to go to court, he was there for me.

Geoffrey and Justin and all of the folks at Coffer and Connelly took great care of me and my case. I was wrongfully accused of criminal trespassing, criminal mischief, and there was a threat of charging me with assaulting a police officer. The day that these alleged crimes occurred was the worst day of my life.
I was tased (twice), beaten, and zip tied by APD in my own front yard.
When I was alerted to the potential of a warrant being issued for my arrest, I consulted and then hired Geoffrey and the Coffer Connelly team.
Under Geoffrey and Justins guidance, we allowed my warrant to go through so that Geoffrey and Justin could work with the prosecution to prove my innocence. ( I was nervous about this strategy, but I had faith in their experience) The lead detective on the case was adamant that I was the one who committed the criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
Ultimately- Geoffrey and Justin handled everything. I didn’t have a single conversation with any of the APD staff, even when they continued to call me and attempted to incriminate me over the phone.
Geoffrey and Justin managed to prove that I was in fact, not- the criminal who committed those crimes, by way of my facial hair. (The other guy that the prosecuting team had a photo of, didn’t have the sweet facial hair that I have)
The charges were dropped and the firm is currently working to have the charges completely expunged from my record.
When sh*t happens and you need an understanding lawyer that treats the law “like art and less of a science”- hire this firm. Justin (the ex-APD chief (I think)) did an amazing job consolidating the facts to ease the process of having the charges dropped. Geoffrey and Justin were very understanding of my terrible experience and supported me along the way. We even had a few laughs over zoom! Justin even allowed me to personally call him a few times for guidance when APD wouldn’t leave me alone.
Having Justin on the team is a real ace in hand. His experience and connections with APD made him incredibly valuable throughout the process.
While I don’t intend to get wrapped up in any other criminal nonsense, if I did- I wouldn’t think twice about calling Geoffrey and Justin and the team at Coffer and Connelly.
I highly recommend this firm. 10/10. Do recommend. So what are you waiting for? Better get that retainer in before they have too many clients to take you on!

Dan has proven to be a thorough attorney that leaves no stone unturned.
Was always available and quick to respond to texts and emails.
The only thing lacking was face to face consultation in his office. Other than that, Dan was quick to respond when we had a question.
I’m not aware of everything Dan did behind the scenes while dealing with the opposing attorney but in the end, the outcome was favorable considering the circumstances.

I am so thankful I found Dan to help me with my DWI arrest. He is professional and has experience handling DWI’s. His paralegal Cara is great and always answered my calls and emails in a timely manner. I was always kept informed throughout the process so I knew what was happening. This was a super stressful time for me. Well before hiring, I was nervous scared terrified I didn't know what to
do who to call where to go but Michael was very reassuring when she poke
to him the first call. I called other attorneys that same day but no one
felt right. I told my parents I feel like this person is the best to
represent me and I know it's more expensive but I feel like he has the
best interest for this case at heart. Everything was smooth sailing and

There were many instances where the service was above and beyond, ex: I had issues with my interlock device for a short time and she cared enough to help by letting her IID contact know about the issue. She and her team followed up personally and got the papers to me from the court the very next day!!
She cares about her clients enough and I felt no different and I am really very pleased with her service. I had attorneys for other things in my past such as immigration matters and others, and from my own little experience I can say that she is definitely in her own league, at the very top. I wish my other attorneys could at least be half good as her.

Tommy Hull and his paralegal Kenna are awesome! I picked Tommy as my criminal defense attorney after an officer made a false DWI allegation against me. As a former prosecutor, Tommy is incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to get things done; he’s a straight shooter and always made time to meet with me when I had questions, and was able to give a realistic guesstimation of outcome right away, but never sugar coated anything(he tells you things you don’t want to hear but need to). Paralegal Kenna is also awesome, she was super responsive, and knowledgeable giving answers she knew on the fly, or reaching out to Tommy when needed. Tommy is a little more pricey than some options in the region, but in my opinion a very worthwhile investment. He had everything taken care of within 7 weeks, and while he told me that I could expect to lose my drivers license; he ended up having the ALR case dismissed too… So I never lost my license, which statistically is something that lawyers in these cases are only able to achieve less than 5% of the time. But I think that’s very much consistent with who he is… I’d guess Tommy is easily within the top 5% of lawyers capability wise.
