Michelle was referred to us by our financial planner. The fees were significantly higher than the last will & trust we created 16 years ago. However, her knowledge of the law, level of detail in addressing complex issues and willingness to explain things in layman's terms was helpful. Our work schedules and locations made it difficult to meet, and she was willing to conference call after hours to review the documents and save us a trip downtown. Her accommodation of our schedule and thoroughness of the legal forms was appreciated. Staff was friendly and approachable. I hired Nora after my sibling's falsely accused me of not meeting my trustee duties. It was the hardest time of my life. I lost my parents and those who were supposed to be there to support me were against me. Jimmy D. Rohde is the best attorney I have ever worked with and I was so fortunate to find him.
I was overwhelmed trying to settle my mother’s estate she died unexpectedly, witout a will. I don't live in Arizona, so I had to find an attorney who could help me “long distance”. After making numerous phone calls, I found that most attorneys either didn’t want to tackle my particular situation, or they wanted money up front before they would talk to me, I found Jimmy Rohde.
My first “meeting” with Jimmy was by phone. I had so many questions to ask i.e. where to start, what can I do and not do etc? He immediately seemed to grasp my situation, and explained things clearly and thoroughly. I never felt rushed, nor did he limit the number of questions I asked.
After the 1st phone call, I knew Jimmy was the person I wanted to consult. When I flew back to Phx. to meet with him, Jimmy took the time to understand the "difficult dynamic" that is my family. He was 100% professional, but exuded a warmth and friendliness, that made me feel totally relaxed during that meeting. He displayed an exceptional level of expertise and provided me with clear explanations. He encouraged me to ask questions, no matter how insignificant or simple I thought they were. Since I'm out of state, I wasn’t sure what papers of my mother’s I needed to keep vs. what to get rid of, so at that 1st meeting I brought a box "filled with folders". Jimmy didn’t say a word, he just looked over the “mounds” of paperwork (most of which he probably didn’t need to see), and gave me sound advice. He asked detailed questions, and then gave me several options on how to proceed. He explained everything in terms I easily understood. I left feeling well informed and having a clearer direction of how best to proceed.
It was clear from the onset that Jimmy was very knowledgeable and truly wanted the best for me. After the estate was "settled", family (from another country) entered into the scene. I was ruffled and emotional. Again, Jimmy was a Godsend. He was calm and empathetic while remaining professional. Jimmy's legal experience, along with his warmth and kindness, gave me hope at a time when my options appeared limited and the likelihood of a good resolution seemed next to impossible. He went above and beyond his obligation, and I couldn’t have asked for better advice or services.
I know this is a long review, but it comes from the heart. I would recommend Mr. Jimmy D. Rohde to anyone needing a lawyer for probate and/or trust law without reservation.

My case was a contentious guardianship/conservatorship dispute, where some members of the family were trying to block my mother with Alzheimer's from getting memory care. It was a heartbreaking, traumatic, and long-drawn out process. Jimmy literally saved the day, by doing everything legally possible to ensure that my Mom got the care she needed. Arja was aggressive with my case and I am so pleased with the outcome! I was charged with a hit and run extreme DUI. Arja was able to get me 4 days house arrest, 1 day of jail, Interlock, $1,500 in fines and two classes. Mind you I have priors and I've been to prison once before and that was my biggest fear was going back and losing my job. This is the best outcome that could have possibly happened because of Arja and her team. Lizette was always very knowledgeable and informative and always responded to my many questions. I was in a car accident. The other driver was a hundred percent at fault and my daughter was in the vehicle with me.Extreme lack of communication on their end. I had to continuously reach out.
They said my case was cut-and-dry.
And would be handled within a couple months, almost 6 months later, finally got settled. They sent me to their doctors that they have an affiliation with, and that ended up taking a 1/3 of my settlement. My daughter was in the car when I got in the accident. They took information about her. And I never received compensation for her portion. They completely forgot about it.
And they still have not reached out. The other insurance company originally offered me a $1000 for compensation for my daughter. For just being in the vehicle.
So they should have been able to get at least that. Needless to say I'm pretty disappointed..

My brother lived in AZ and I live in CO. When he passed I became his personal representative. We weren't really sure we needed an attorney, but Jennifer was recommended and we engaged her. That was the smartest decision we made.
She was able to explain and guide me through the process, which was significantly more complex than I had ever imagined.
When the situation took a turn for the worse and became contentious she provided valuable guidance and advice and worked tirelessly to resolve the issues. She and her staff listened and understood my concerns and helped me work through them. They also helped me stay centered and focused on the important issues.
She and her staff were always available to answer questions and provide assistance. This was especially helpful since I did not live in AZ. Their communications with me were always clear and concise whether they were explaining something or forwarding me documents. I received the information I needed and, when necessary, very detailed instructions on what was required.
She was always mindful of managing her and her staff's time to try and keep the costs down. She made sure I was aware of the status of the important issues, but did not keep me updated on the status of every little item which helped keep the costs down. If, however, I had any questions she and her staff were always available and would answer all my questions.
They were always supportive and understanding and worked very hard and diligently to help me through this process which has been going on for over 15 months.

Jennifer was hired to represent me in our nightmare of a case against cps. We were wrongly accused with no evidence and Jennifer did everything in her power to prove that. She knew what she was doing and how to respond to cps and their lies. She never gave up, always working hard to prove their lies wrong. She was professional, caring, informative, hard working and completely committed to my case. She was constantly thinking a step ahead of cps.
Although my case has gone on for 2 years, she never gave up or stopped caring. Even though the case is not closed yet, my kids are back at home where they belong. When the kids came home she genuinely celebrated with our family!! She was excited to meet and hug our kids.

I hired Jennifer to help me get my share of an asset from my fathers estate. She proposed to get a written agreement between myself and the other beneficiaries, but failed to inform me that the trust attorney added language to the agreement she knew was unacceptable to me. She then lied and said she told me of the added language. She later suggested to correct the language we amend the agreement and wanted to charge me for the time and effort. The sale of the asset eventually happened without help from her. It was a very unpleasant experience. She seemed distracted and communication was poor. In fairness it may have been a staffing problem but ultimately she should be in control of what is happening in her name.

Well versed and competent. My only caution is to hang onto your pocket book. Her firm will bill you ridiculous charges. I'm sweating out a conservatorship for my daughter. Almost half the available funds have been eaten up by lawyers fees and costs. Never dealt with someone who charges you for copies and sends you several copies of the same pleading.
I'm even afraid to call and talk to her about this because I don't want the "protected person " to get charged e
