This year I finally prioritized planning my estate and that of my parents. I sought out Pablo Palomino because he is bilingual and because of his volunteer work. I wanted to support someone who supports our community. I anticipated the process to be daunting but Pablo, and his highly skilled team, did a great job of painlessly walking me through a comprehensive plan, proactively researching and correcting some abnormalities on my property title, and delivering a full package including a revocable living trust, will, power of attorney, health directive and more. We brought in my parents the following week and Pablo and team made them feel very welcome and they left feeling a great sense of relief that their house was now in order.
I recommend Pablo and his Legacy team for their customer service, competency and final product. Their price was fair, their offices are right off the freeway with plenty of parking. Come as you are.

We contacted Mr. Palomino after my mother's attorney failed to help us administer a trust. He explained everything in clear and concise language so even my aging mother could understand. Teddy R McNamara is an excellent attorney specializing in estate planning and probate. Teddy prepared my living trust and throughout this process he was extremely through and knowledgeable. Besides knowing the law regarding trusts inside and out he has all the traits you look for in choosing an attorney. Although he is very busy he takes time to answer any and all questions. I liked Teddy as an attorney right away. I quickly got to know him as more than just my attorney but as a friend as well. I enjoyed working with him very much. Eight years ago, my family contracted with Teddy McNamara to amend my father's trust upon his death. Teddy's work back then assured that we returned to him eight years later when my Mom passed away. Teddy was attentive and very responsive in dealing with the administration of my Mom's trust/estate, which involved long-distance tasks/signing papers. In addition, Teddy was very available at all times (particularly on weekends and after hours), and was personable. We shared travel information, which was a welcome diversion from all of the tasks at hand! We greatly appreciated this aspect. Administration of my Mom's estate was timely and quick, which is how I wanted it to be.
The only recommendation I would make is that documents be reviewed a bit more thoroughly before going to the client, i.e. spelling and correct names. A quick re-check before sending documents out would probably suffice.

Bill worked on a Personal Injury case involving my young daughter. I was referred to Bill from a great friend of mine, I called Bill and he agreed to take my case. It was unreal how he and his office kept me informed. The outcome and settlement was more even better than expected. My daughter now can get the treatment necessary to repair the damage caused. William Berman was successful in obtaining a judgment sufficient to send a very strong message to the nursing home that was responsible for the death of my father. His firm had the clout and the experience to deal with the nursing home insurance company negotiators. I am satisfied with the judgent received and the resulting changes in procedures at the nursing home.

several years ago I received advice to start a trust for my wife's grandmother and part of that advice was that I didn't need a lawyer to execute it or implement it upon grandma'so passing. last year grandma passed away and my wife and I found ourselves lost and overwhelmed with all the paperwork and legal matters. Carl was awesome in helping us navigate the legless system to ensure the proper transfer of grandma's finances and estate. There were so many forms and notifications that had to be submitted and Carl handled them all. He was a true professional and advocate for my family!!!! After a friend died suddenly, Mark helped so much to make sense of all the paperwork I found in the cottage. As executor of the estate, I was at my wits' end to find out how to proceed with probate.
Mark handled all the documents with the court. He was able to probe numerous pages to find critical financial information. He was extremely responsive to my calls, emails and faxes. And he continued to be right on top of details after the probate closed. I am totally pleased.

Laura took over my injury case after my previous attorney was unable to continue. She hit the ground running and didn't skip a beat. Staying on top of the other driver's insurance company and pushing my case along. Laura consulted with me when needed and had my best interest when advocating for me. Always telling it straight, the good and the bad. In the end a settlement was reached which was more than I was hoping for. I was recommended to Laura Lindsey and the Walton Law firm by a relative after I suffered injuries from an accident. From the start, I could tell I was in good hands. Laura is incredibly hard working and detail-oriented. Personal injury cases are often complex so you need someone who minds the details. She sat down with me and completely dissected my case from start to finish and laid out several scenarios for how the case would transpire. Over the following weeks, she kept me continually up to date and helped me through the complexities of my treatment and insurance issues. She was also very honest - when it became apparent that the case required an attorney with a different specialty than Walton Law she recommended a different lawyer whom I am now with and happy with. If she hadn't gone to the trouble of researching and finding an attorney with the required specialty I required, I would be out of luck. I highly doubt I would have received the same care from another attorney after they realized a lawyer with a different specialty was needed. Laura is very friendly, dedicated, and a dream to work with, I give her my highest recommendation!

Mr. Dieringer is a true original. When I needed an estate planning attorney to assist me after the untimely passing of my father, I interviewed a number of attorneys in the field. Mr. Dieringer stood head and shoulders above the rest because of his intellect, zeal, and thoughtful consideration. More than any other attorney I've encountered, Mr. Dieringer internalizes the concerns of his clients and wrestles with them until reaching the soundest strategy. I know this based on nothing more than our discussions; but during all of them, he is so well-prepared and able to anticipate my ever concern, along with providing needed reassurances along the way, that I am confident in my gut instinct. Mr. Dieringer has heart to go with the brains. I won't refer an elder law case anywhere else.

Hello, my name is Christopher A. Ackerman. In 2013 I was having horrendous back pain than pretty much immobilized me, until one day, I was completely, and permanently immobilized. Paralyzed from the belly button down, or T-9. I was laying in bed in the hospital at Scripps-Mercy Hospital, in San Diego, CA, and knew I needed a lawyer. I consulted a referral service, who highly recommended Norman M. Finkelstein, who came right to my hospital room. We had discussed a few possible outcomes for my case, if everything went well, and I hired him. Boy am I glad I did!
Well here we are, at the part where we had discussed outcomes. Our bottom line that we set, in our discussion, Norman was able to beat by 30%. In addition, my medical has all been accounted for, as well as all of my medical equipment.
I can now look forward to living my life being cared for by the best of hands. I can buy a nice little house, and live my life in comfort. Norman Finkelstein gave me my life back, and also has become a good friend to me. We are on a first name basis, Facebook friends, and laugh and joke, all the time.
I was faced with an unfortunate set of circumstances in my life, that changed everything. I was very blessed, at this time, to have made the acquaintance of, Norman Martin Finkelstein. I was extremely troubled, and my prayer's, truly were answered.

I was wrongfully accused of a crime I did not commit, and despite being attacked in my own home, I was the one charged with a felony. When I was arrested and charged, my attempts to assert my innocence fell on deaf ears within the justice system. Those who did listen, did not believe me. Having never been arrested or charged with anything in my life, facing a felony charge was a terrifying experience. I felt alone, until I found Patrick Griffin. Patrick was not only kind and empathetic, but he also listened to me. From the moment I shared my story, Patrick believed in my innocence and fought relentlessly to prove it. Roz and Adam are the team that has helped me navigate the administration, protection and distribution of my parent’s trust assets. Both have provided much needed guidance in my role as the trustee. Roz especially has been helpful in providing clarification, marshalling of all the trust assets, performing the proper accounting and other transactions to close the trust properly. Roz often tells me that “It’s my job” in response to me expressing my thanks for the numerous times she’s assisted me with anything and everything. I feel that not only is Roz doing her job, but she is going above and beyond by providing much needed support in the role of a trustee. We were referred to San Diego Elder Law Center by a friend of mine and we’re specifically referred to Carly Surber Maganuco. We had a long phone conversation with Carly and the subsequently had her review all of our trusts, wills and financial statements. Then we met with Carly in person for 90 minutes and she gave us an education on what we could expect in the future and where she could help. We paid $350 for the consultation and my father said “it was the best $350 I’ve ever spent”. Carly was honest and straight forward and told us that we had all the documentation set up correctly and there was little she could do to help us today but she told us when we should contact her for help in the future
It was very relieving to meet a lawyer with such integrity and honesty and it honestly lifted a weight off our shoulders knowing we had found an expert who we could trust to help us navigate some of the challenges ahead. I have been with Embry family law since he took my case in late 2020. I had an extremely difficult fight that had little to NO chance of winning. When I recently found myself in need of legal counsel, Mr. Casiano was recommended to me by a trusted friend. A few years ago, he had helped her and her family with trust and will matters, and she didn't hesitate to send me to him. In addition to Vinnie's prodigious knowledge of wills, trusts and estate planning, his expertise in Elder Law proved to be immensely helpful when the matriarch of the family reached the age where she needed to go to a permanent skilled nursing facility. He guided the family through the confusing realm of Social Security, Medicare and Medi-Cal, and he showed them how to best utilize those programs for the benefit of the lady. Just as importantly, he provided the family with information on how to deal with the sometimes less than helpful nursing home and hospital doctors, administrators and staff, so that their loved one got the best care at the least expense possible. Subsequently, upon her death, Vinnie's legal expertise and actions resulted in maintaining the maximum value of the estate that she was able to bequeath to her children.
The situation I needed Vinnie for was very similar. I had a relative whose health was in steady decline, and I enlisted Vinnie's help in dealing with hospitals, emergency rooms and nursing homes. He was in the process of gaining a conservatorship status for me, when my relative died. At that point, he shifted to helping me with processing a will that was executed by my relative, and with the necessary filings with Probate Court. His advice and counsel have been stellar, and he is helping to move things along expeditiously. He has a genuine desire to treat his clients in a friendly and respectful manner, and his sense of humor helps to blunt some of the inevitable angst that occurs when dealing with legal matters and the court system.
In short, I highly recommend Mr. Casiano to anyone looking for expert legal advice from a highly skilled and knowledgeable attorney.

I went through a very long probate process due to a lot of complications dealing with assets and family conflicts. We wound up having to hire separate lawyers. I decided to hire RMO law firm and Stephanie K. Delaney was my Lawyer. She worked very hard and was a big help getting me through a lot of the problems dealing with assets and family issues. She remained calm helping me get through this long drawn out process. She was easy to get a hold of and was always available when things got out of control. Toward the end, there were a lot of documents to sign that were hard to understand but Stephanie helped me when I had questions. When closing probate there was a couple delays but Stephanie was able to straighten things out with the lawyer for the other family member and we were finally able to close probate. I thank Stephanie for all her help. She was pleasant to work with and I’m so happy to have her as my lawyer.
I want to thank Scott Rahn (RMO) as well for agreeing to take my case and work with lawyers from another firm that the other family member had hired. Scott Rahn would step in on occasion when his expertise was needed .

Ditter is handling what should be a very simple dispersal of an estate. He has stretched the process out over a period of 18 months, has made careless errors, and seldom, if ever, returns calls. I'm not sure if he's inept or dishonest, but he's not someone I'd recommend or hire.
