The Grosskopf & Burch Law Firm has helped my family out several times recently. If I could give them 10 stars, I would have. We were able to get an appointment in a timely manner. The fees they charged did not break the bank. The advice and services they provided were spot on. The office staff was awesome. I really found the ability to do Zoom meetings was a time-saver. I live out of town and the rest of my family is scattered around the state. Zoom made it possible to use a high-quality Law without having to drive hundreds of miles to see an attorney. Mr Walsh advised and assisted in the somewhat complex MEDICAID application process for my 88 year old Mother. His professional guidance and MEDICAID planning smarts ensured the MEDICAID application would meet the eligibility requirements for a successful submission. His advice to execute a Promissory Note and establish a Retainer Trust were just what was needed to make my Mother eligible, while protecting some assets. I have no doubt that the successful 1 time submission/acceptance of my Mother’s MEDICAID Application was in no small part due to Mr Walsh's knowledge and experience in Elder Law. I would highly recommend, if reading this, you give serious consideration to contacting Mr Walsh with your Elder Law needs. You won't go wrong!

I was faced with a very traumatic and complex family estate problem. I was referred to Peter for his litigation capabilities but also discovered his compassionate approach. He helped me navigate this problem over the course of several years to a favorable conclusion and never lost his compassion and empathy for me and my situation. I would highly recommend him not only for any challenging situation but also for "normal" estate planning as he is very pragmatic and knows his own capabilities.

Attorney Tim Crawford and his senior legal assistant Samatha were fantastic in helping me through the maze of applying for medicaid for my mother. My mom hired Tim to do A Trust for her assets. My first thought mom didn't really need to spend this kind of money. And we could have probably could have done this on our own. But once passed away I realized very fast I am glad we didn't. Tim and his staff are very knowledgeable and helpful in settling my moms estate. He has a knowledge of the law you need when settling an estate. I will recommend him to others.

Our brother died unexpectedly and shortly afterwards his long-time caretaker and the caretaker’s attorney produced a will that left our brother’s entire estate to the caretaker. My sister and I were surprised that our brother would not discuss such a big change in his estate plan with us beforehand and after talking to some of our brother’s friends, we were told that this will was suspicious and we needed to retain legal counsel to look into it. Thank Goodness we took their advice and were very fortunate to choose Trevor Lippman of O’Neil Cannon as our representative. My sister and I cannot say enough to praise the hard work and professionalism that Trevor demonstrated. As this was the first time my sister and I had ever been involved in a legal action, we needed a lot of support and explanation. Trevor's communication skills are second to none and he answered all our questions and guided us through all the issues as they developed. Our case was very difficult and required much time and effort to build the evidence showing that this will was not our brother’s work. With this body of evidence, we then entered mediation with the other party and were very successful, obtaining 88% of the multi-million dollar estate. More importantly, Trevor and his colleagues with O’Neil Cannon helped us avoid a lifetime of regret in not knowing what our brother’s true intentions were. Through their dedication and hard work, they gave us the truth about what happened. For this we will be forever grateful and can give Trevor Lippman our highest recommendations.

At first it seemed like a typical estate dispute, but we knew that here was something wrong with the fact that my brother would change his will so dramatically without letting us know. We had never had to retain an attorney and had many questions. Trevor carefully explained every aspect of the case as we went along and helped us understand the legal system. Trevor began the investigation and through many twists, turns and complications was able to discover that our concerns were justified and we were able to retain a significant part of the estate. I cannot say enough about Trevor. He is smart and hardworking, he digs deep into the facts, pulling layer after layer together to tell the true story and he was able to remember everything in this complicated case. He kept us informed of his progress and gave us excellent advice. He is stellar in the courtroom. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Attorney Kilkenny represented me in a landlord/tenant dispute. He was recommended by another attorney. At first I was a bit apprehensive about hiring such a young attorney but Attorney Kilkenny has proven that honesty, intelligence, and a strong work ethic can provide excellent results. I was originally planning to spend $4,000 on attorney fees but he was able to negotiate a deal with the landlord and reduce it to about $1,000. He's willing to do what is in the client's best interest rather than what is more profitable for himself. His hourly rate is also very low for the caliber of his skills. I've used attorneys at large law firms in the past and have found that they sometimes don't have enough time to dedicate to my case. Attorney Kilkenny, however, promptly responded to all my calls and emails and I can't recommend him enough.

My aunt passed away, and I was named the personal representative of her estate. After moving from Michigan to Wisconsin in late 2019, one of my top priorities was to revisit my Estate Planning Documents that were completed in Michigan with my family attorney there. My goal was to ensure that my documents complied with Wisconsin law. This project was a special priority for me since my wife had passed away in March of 2019, and my intent was to locate a competent attorney who specialized in Estate Planning. So I started making telephone calls to numerous attorneys in this area listed in the Yellow Pages. I had many questions for them. Finally, I found the Frozena Law Firm. After asking the receptionist several questions, I made an appointment. After my first appointment and having a very informative and productive meeting with Angela Frozena, who was very congenial and very knowledgeable. She briefed me regarding what additional information I must provide her, so we setup a future appointment for after I returned from vacation in Europe in three weeks. Upon returning from Europe, I returned to Frozena Law Firm for my second appointment. At this appointment, Angela had already received the documents from my former attorney in Michigan, and had the draft of my new estate plan prepared, and sent the documents via encrypted email to my home in Racine. After reviewing the draft documents, I returned them to the firm for finalization. At my final appointment, everything was organized and Angela had already made arrangements for the witnesses to be present. Everything went so smoothly, and I was impressed with Angela's knowledge, efficiency, sincerity and her positive attitude. Her professionalism is second to none. And along the way, Angela and I communicated via telephone and email. I was so impressed with the courtesy and respect shown to me, that I am happy to share my experiences with Angela, and to highly recommend the Frozena Law Firm to anyone in need of competent, efficient estate planning services.

My wife was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and I knew that at some point in time I'd need financial assistance so my retirement savings won't be totally depleted. With our health care support changing rapidly and minimal support from our county ADRC, I needed somebody that has the knowledge of the Medicaid regulations. Carol Wessels presented several classes to an Alzheimer's Support Group and gave me enough information to think that we might be approved for Medicaid assistance. She gave me the guidance I needed to gather the information for her office to complete the application and respond back to many additional questions that came back from this application. What a relief to have her support and eventually accepted for Medicaid assistance.

Carol is very knowledgeable and empathetic. She has the ability to look at the whole picture and give the family a plan. I met with Carol when I was overwhelmed with the changes in my husband, due to dementia. Her calm demeanor and kindness to my husband touched my heart. I recently had to seek legal counsel from Jane for a severe elder abuse case that I was involved in with helping the client. I have worked with lawyers in the past for other reasons. I have never had such caring, personal, attentive care toward my situation from a lawyer. Jane goes the extra mile to get things done for everybody involved in the situation. Jane makes difficult, challenging, legal information easy to understand for those of us who have no idea how this part of the legal system works. She takes calls anytime you may have to call in moments of panic! If I had a question and just needed to be put at ease, Jane always was ready to take my call and listen to my concerns and do her best to ease my worry. I never thought I would be put in a situation such as this in my life and don't wish this to happen to anyone, but Jane made this horrific battle less terrifying as quickly as she could. She is exceptionally easy to work with and any info she needs from you she explains in great detail so you can rest assured you're doing everything exactly the way you need to. She goes above and beyond to show her compassion to help people especially the elderly in this terrible position. I've had Jane Miller for estate planning for myself. She advised me to be specific in certain areas and explained way. I was very satisfied with the results. I also needed her at another time for a family matter helping a loved one that resulted in a restraining order. She is so understanding and helpful of stressful events and has a calming and caring effect on you and gets you through it. She is always available. She is so compassionate about her clients.
