I was in a pretty bad spot. I had, in hindsight, said some things I shouldn't have said had I known the trouble it would bring. Nevertheless, I called someone out for shady activity online and I ended up entangled in a lawsuit over it.
I went to a list of lawyers who were willing to help people in a situation not unlike mine and found Mudd Law. After speaking with Charles he agreed to take my case at a really reasonable price and let me work out a fair payment plan. This case could have financially ruined me for the foreseeable future and I needed help badly.
Mr. Mudd was very helpful and personable right from the first phone call and I was very comfortable explaining the situation and following the sensible advice he offered. I quickly lost the notion I was dealing with a "lawyer" but was instead dealing with a real person who had a personal and professional interest in helping me solve my problem without trying to fleece me in the process.
In the end we were all able to come up with an amicable solution to the problem and it didn't break me financially. I also learned some lessons from my own actions and the guidance I received on how to not end up in a situation like this again, or, if I do, how to handle it better and more importantly, who to turn to if I need real legal console.
Thanks again for all your help. You helped walk me through a nightmare and come out stronger on the other side. I'll never forget your kindness and professionalism.

My husband and I started his immigration process back in 2018. Our journey was a difficult one dealing with immigration and their long processing times and half the time just no response. We initially had started with a local firm back in 2018. All we heard from them was we had to just wait. We were devastated. We were then referred to McEntee Law Group by one of our good friends. We had our initial call with Natalia. The hope that Natalia gave us after our first meeting with her is a feeling we will never forget.
Natalia and Susie helped us on our case which included Adjustment of Status Denial, reopening of our case, responses to RFE’s, along with many Congressional and Ombudsman requests.
Any questions or concerns that we had they both responded to us in a timely manner and addressed everything with knowledge and care.
In such a short time with all of their hardwork and dedication to our case my husband received his green card! We cannot even begin to express our gratitude to Natalia, Susie and to the whole group at McEntee Law Group.
The day we received the approval on our case and especially the day we physically obtained the green card has been filled with so many emotions and excitement!

I needed to apply for my marriage-based Greencard while living with my wife in The Netherlands. I chose Natalia and McEntee Law because my brother had also hired her to help with his company-based Greencard and recommend her. I would highly recommend Natalia.
Unfortunately the US immigration process is ridiculously complicated, costly, badly documented by USCIS and NVC, and takes a ridiculous amount of time to process. Having experienced it, I recommend hiring a lawyer if you can afford it.
Natalia and her legal aid Susie helped us as we applied from abroad using the consular application process. She helped us understand the process, gather necessary documents, avoid making costly mistakes, advised us on what to include in our application etc. Together with Susie she also checked all our documentation in fine detail. Any time I had a question I emailed Natalia and heard back within a day. She contacted USCIS and the NVC on my behalf to clarify certain things. It was such a relief to have a dedicated lawyer in our corner.
We finally moved to the US a few weeks ago. I have my Greencard and it's a huge relief. We're very thankful to Natalia and Susie, they have been fantastic!

Attorney Brezina was kind enough to take the time to answer a question I had regarding copyright concerns if I were to seek permission from the owner of lyrics to use their material for a business idea I have. I did not use the exact words or maybe the correct words to explain what I was truly asking and still Attorney Brezina was able to identify my true question. The task I had described that I will attempt to complete on my own is a bit daunting for an inexperienced researcher and creator of legal documentation yet Attorney Brezina answered in simple terminology that I am able to easily understand and has given me confidence that I can do this!! Thank you sir, and please accept this note as a documented promise on the only 'legal' I have lived - my word - that if I am ever able to get this business plan going I will be sending you one of the first products I get made, legally. After my dad passed away in April 2024, my mom and I filed for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) through the VA. Despite working with a VA liaison and following up for 10 months, we received no real updates—just that the claim was still pending. Then, my mom received a notice from the VA, which she mistakenly believed was a denial of the DIC claim. Unfortunately, even the local VA liaison misinterpreted it, causing a lot of confusion. Given that my dad’s passing was clearly linked to his disability, we realized we needed legal representation and turned to James Comerford.
From our first conversation, James took the time to listen, understand our situation, and guide us through the process. Initially, we thought we needed to file a rebuttal, but after investigating, he discovered the VA had actually misinformed us—the claim was still being processed. He assured us he would follow up, and shortly after, he called with the great news: the claim had been approved. Not only did he get us answers, but he also knew exactly when my mom would receive her benefits, including back pay.
When I asked James what we owed him, he refused payment—he was simply happy my mom received what she deserved. Even after I insisted, he suggested we make a donation to a charity instead, which we did. His generosity, professionalism, and genuine care for his clients truly set him apart.

I had filed a trademark with a "budget" attorney that promised no hassles and got nothing but. Then I found Jeff and his team and things quite literally could not have been easier for me. They swooped in, revived my denied trademark app, submitted all the info required to for my original app while also adding another one all with little to no effort on my part and executed it flawlessly. My company is a startup, digital platform working with a variety of content creators, producers and talent across music and entertainment. We were in need of a new lawyer after working with one for 6 months, who we did not have a great experience with. Jeff came highly recommended, but I was skeptical and cautious given my previous experience with the past lawyer. Our initial meeting was great, with all the typical "getting to know you" and learning about how he works, his pay structure, the team, the support we will get, etc. I already felt at ease given Jeff's very candid and friendly demeanor. However, given that we were in transition of lawyers, there were some time-sensitive documents and work that needed to be done asap so I was a bit concerned whether he could help us right away and deliver what we needed by our due dates. When a day went by and Jeff began to get the wheels moving (even before we signed his retainer agreement), I was floored! Not only did he have ALL the work done on time, but he guided us through the process, and explained everything to me and my team in a thorough manner that we can understand.
It has now been several months and my experience working with Jeff is phenomenal! He is extremely easy to work with, he is thorough, patient and fair. He explains things to his clients in a very clear and easy-to-understand manner which is great (it saves us time and money!) He always delivers the work on time 100%, and has never put us on the back-burner. He does what he says and honors his word which is excellent....because I know that we're not his only client (as a startup, we are still treated like one of his celebrity clients!).

Words simply don’t do enough to express my genuine gratitude for Young and her Teams support in handling my husbands immigration case. Negligence, withholding medical records, and multiple issues addressed with not only the facility, but the IDPH and Illinois Department of Aging - saying I have a case. To not only tell me once, twice but THREE TIMES they couldn’t help me or my aunt. They are injury lawyers, so if you’re looking to vocalize and stop negligence and abuse, don’t choose this firm for your elderly loved one. They didn’t have to tell me 3 times, and they didn’t have to say I have a “potential” case. SENIOR JUSTICE for who? Highly unlikely to recommend. Don’t say your elderly abuse lawyers if you’re not. I had John as my lawyer in a hotly contested divorce proceeding which featured the withdrawal of the other side's lawyers during the case and the hiring of new ones midstream. John Malevitis guided the case through to a quite favorable settlement and conclusion for me. I have since hired him for various other business related matters. P.S. I asked John about the negative rating on Avvo received by a former client and I was advised of the client name, so I looked it up on the Court docket and found that in fact John had attended Court on her behalf about 30 plus times and that finally he had to withdraw when she was not cooperating with him and failed to attend Court as required. I don't understand how someone could publish these inaccuracies without first taking the time to look up the Court docket as I did!
