After receiving poor representation from attorneys who were ill prepared for my case and who convinced me that pleading guilty was my only option, I spent several painful years in jail, away from my family and patients. Meggan took over my case and with aggressive lawyering she had the original prejudiced federal judge removed from my case, and she filed motions which eventually overturned my coerced plea and earned me a new trial. I was subsequently released from jail and together we began working on a robust and strategic defense to my case. My new trial led to an acquittal of every single original charge including drug distribution by a physician and two counts of causing the death of a patient; and it led to my freedom on the last day of my trial.

While I was out of town, the contractor hired to built onto my house made a significant error and deviated from the building plan. The contractor was refusing to correct the mistake so I contacted Alandis to understand my options and get the contractor to correct the building mistake he made. Thanks to Alandis, the contractor went back and fixed the error he made. Having Alandis on my side helped me gain piece of mind since I was out of town when this stressful situation occurred. The issue was resolved quickly thanks to Alandis, and now that the addition is complete, I’m content with the result. Had I not contacted Alandis, I would have risked extended construction delays and added costs because the contractor wanted me to pay extra to fix the error that the contractor made. I met Adam through a mutual friend and served as his Realtor when he and his wife purchased a house. Shortly thereafter I needed to speak with an attorney about an issue I had with an irresponsible home contractor. I contacted Adam and explained exactly what had happened. Trip does what we expect, in the specified time, and for the agreed compensation. Perhaps, this comes from our clearly defined scope and long successful history. Or, perhaps it is just because he is good at what he does. He has reprensented me, my architectural practice and my family since the 1990's in contractual issues, adoption, and real estate.
Although we met socially, and our families share common interests, he knows the line between personal and professional, public and private. One doesn't realize the value of this until you need it. And, when you need it, such professional service is priceless.

This is a bummer because, as you’ll see, I have not left a negative review in the 15 years of having my account:
I recently worked with Andrew to obtain advice on a silent partnership contract that was very bare bones (a couple hundred words in length).
I was surprised to see that I was charged $438 for Andrew to read this incredibly small document and provide maybe 100 words of feedback. (Will update with screen shots once I have redacted the info)
I ended up going with another lawyer who was able to provide a couple of rounds of feedback on this document for about the same price and sharing me he felt I overpaid greatly for the services provided.
To be fair, Andrew was thorough and fast, which is why it’s an anomaly this did not extend to his charges and the time he stated required almost 2 hours of billing.
I hate to leave a review like this but I communicated this information to Andrew asking to split the difference which would have him still making $250 for the single volley of feedback but he was unwilling to work with me.
