My wife passed away on August 12, 2016. Our living trust was 5 years old on August 11, 2016, so on completion of the necessary trust administration occasioned by my wife’s passing, I agreed to a restatement of the trust to reflect pertinent changes which had taken place in the 5 years since the trust was formed.
I found the firm’s representative to be responsive, thorough and highly professional in all respects.

My wife and I established separate trusts and updated estate documents through an effort that was completed in October 2017. In December 2017 my wife exhibited maladies that were diagnosed as Metastatic Melanoma. After several weeks in hospice, she passed away on Christmas Day 2017.
How quickly one's world can be turned upside down....and how grateful I have been to have had current, complete estate documents through which I can, as trustee, manage the resulting estate affairs.
Colleen Prosser, along with Crystal, helped us to update our estate documents. It was very comforting to have someone like Colleen who has extensive background in estate law to formulate and implement a trust structure and provisions that allows effective management by me as trustee.
The carefully crafted documents also lay the groundwork for transition to alternative designated trustees should I pass or become incapable of decision making. These documents provide piece of mind that I am leaving a "tight ship" that can be easily passed on and sustained.
Colleen was very helpful in assessing approaches that best fit our assets and financial resources. As with everyone my wife and I met at Sinclair Prosser, she was very competent, pleasant, patient, and helpful.

Where do I start? We were lucky to be referred to Mr. Darrow when we thought our case had little hope of being favorably resolved. Being from out of state (Illinois), we were worried that our case would be taken with a grain of salt. Not Mr. Darrow. He was detailed, fierce, intense and honest with us from the beginning. I hired Mr. Darrow on a reference from a friend to rep me in a business matter (construction and contracts), which he did a wonderful job!! As an out-of-state grandparent, I realize it would have been almost impossible to secure visitation with my grandchild unless I obtained legal counsel. John Warren was essential to my getting court-stipulated visitation and I am forever grateful. Seventeen years ago I met John due to the child visitation/support issues I faced. He took everything I had to say into consideration and explained my rights as a parent while keeping the best interest of the kids in mind. He even indicated that his services may not be needed but that he would be willing to assist if I was uncomfortable speaking in front of the judge.
Hiring him as my attorney was the best decision I made since legal cases can get very complicated and confusing for the average person. He obtained all he promised, never misled me, and worked so hard, which I am forever grateful for.
Ever since then, John has been there for my family and I whenever we need advice or representation, never fails to benefit our situation. As of right now, seventeen years later, I am back seeking his legal advice in hopes of terminating my case now that my kids have been emancipated.

Maria is in a class by herself as far as we are concerned! We contacted close to twenty lawyers who were listed or recommended to us for help in an Education law issue for my child, and Maria by far was the best. She responded to our initial request for help on the same day I sent out requests, and was willing to speak on the phone first about our situation to tell us if we had a case. Our situation involved a homeschooling issue and the local Board of Education, and Maria was one of less than 5 attorneys who would even speak to us about our case.
She responded usually within hours, and always within a day, to any communication we sent to her, and was happy to accept the research we had already done into the case in order to lower our legal costs.
She worked on our time-sensitive case with as much speed as possible to reach a resolution, and was very kind and sensitive to my daughter as well. We are very pleased with the timeliness and outcome of our case, thanks to Maria.
I would recommend her to anyone with an Education law issue, and I am sure she is equally skilled in the other areas of law in which she practices.

We were in need of an attorney to prepare our wills, power of attorney (medical and financial) and health care advance directives. I expected it to be a difficult discussion as my spouse and I are not always on the same page on certain topics but Maria made it easy. There were some tears, some laughter, but she made it happen.
She explained things in layman's terms so that everything was understandable, instructed us in what would be subject to probate and how to do things properly in order to have the least amount subject to probate. She guided and counseled us in a gentle but professional way.
This experience ended up being pleasant, easy and much less expensive than i had anticipated. I would highly recommend Maria as an attorney - highly competent and very personable.
She gets an "A" from us!

I approached Monica Hall as the inevitability of my divorce became evident. Monica is a seriously Good Egg. Divorce is a lousy thing no matter how you slice it. She made it a little less lousy and ultimately achieved the necessary outcome without dragging things out.
Monica has been an attorney in the Annapolis area for something like 35 years. I have known her for 10. When we decided to get to work she took a rational, practical, No BS approach as she walked me through the process. We even had a few laughs. It became quickly clear to me that she knows what works based on Law and her wisdom in the Annapolis judicial system. I came to rely on her judgement as she knew how to temper my comments in order to stay focused on a reasonable outcome.
She was professional, brutally candid, and (when needed) tough as nails.
You can't ask for more than that.

Attorney Mellin was VERY helpful, his fee was more than reasonable. He knew most of his "stuff" by wrote and didn't pretend ignorance so that he could charge me for "research"!
Fee was very fair, even gracious.
Similarly, his associate Mr.Brown, was very understanding.
I parked right in front of his office the first few times and then less than a block away in city garage.
They did as much as they could for me and certainly educated me to reality.

If there was a way to rate less than one, this man and his law firm deserve a zero or a -5. Always unprepared. I never saw his office despite my multiple calls (a friend said "that is what they do in Baltimore and Annapolis"),
He will always get documents the day before court date or sometimes in the court house on the hearing date (when do you prepare a defense or a strategy dear attorney?)
He first advised to countersue just to bump up his time and money arguing that it was the best strategy in a divorce case. While this aggravated the situation with my ex-wife, he advised me to consent to a protective order where I did nothing and I had evidences and a witness (it was just a strategy from the other side to get me out of the marital property). Until this day I don't understand why you will ruin someone life just to make sure your firm is making money. Contersuing will mean that you are presenting another case against the plaintiff, which he never did, it was just a way to bill the time and make more money. Mr greenberg and his law firm are the place where you should never go. He prepared documents, billed me for the time spent preparing those documents and surprisingly never submitted the documents but I should pay for it while I was waiting to see the document submitted and was never aware that he decided not to submit my documents without consulting me. He sent me emails saying "this is what you can get at a minimum" but ended up going for less, still today, my ex still owe what came from the settlement under his magnificiently poor advice) and convincing me to let my ex take my son to another state under the reason that if we are in the state where the defendant was moving I will have 50/50 physical and legal custody. Anyone else who saw my case and evidences wondered why I did not get full custody. Why focus on my immigration status when I already had a brilliant immigration attorney and had/have no issue with my lawful residency in the US? In term of confidentiality, don't trust this man, He called my immigration attorney to discuss the status of my bill and make me look bad.
Today I have to travel from Maryland to Houston every other month to see my son, barely see/communicate with my boy, I'm still struggling because I have no family here and at that time I had been living in the US for 3 years including the 2 years I couldn't work, the support I was supposed to receive each month as child support for not making enough including my share on this marriage, the support my ex wife was federally binded to provide through a signed affidavit of support for leaving everything behind to come here were left on the table and this man called "greenberg" or "nightmare" is going after my wage under the pretense that I did not finish paying him. My marriage was not a success, but picking the phone and contacting this man based on fake reviews online was the worst thing in my life. I could have just show up by myself at the court house and get better outcomes. NEVER GO TO THIS MAN AND HIS LAW FIRM. He will put you in a worst situation than the one you are trying to get out off. It's because of this kind of man that some people don't trust attorneys/lawyers.
