I worked with Juan Silva from The Dressie Law Firm. He worked on my car accident case for 3 years, he was so understanding and caring. Answered all my questions and more. During this time with working with him I had surgery that was cause by the wreck he had checked in on me while I was in recovery. I have been in serval accidents in my life and have never needed to call an attorney because the other driver’s insurance always accepted accountability and provided a rental immediately. This time, I was hit by a guy and filed the claim. Once filed, they refused to take my calls and hung up. I called Matt at his firm for help and he too was met with resistance and lack of cooperation. He persevered and was able to recuperate all the money I had lost. Vickie Sadler is a Woman of Character and Integrity
Following an accident involving a SUV and 18 Wheel Dump Truck on an Interstate my husband and I were both simply glad to be alive. We were not interested in a settlement just our medical bills, item replacement and reimbursement for the expenses associated with the event to which we were traveling as I was driving a company vehicle. We felt that this was something we could handle ourselves with the two other insurance companies involved but after relentless and wise counsel from leaders in my company we sought out our own counsel.
We had no intention of receiving money we were not entitled to and Vickie Sadler assured us that she understood and would work at the highest level of integrity on our behalf. I thought they were alright but they appear to nickel and dime you for everything. I don't have an issue paying for services rendered but to be charged for a phone conference about potential services for a new tax issue seems unethical. They'd successfully assisted me with state tax issue. And because that particular issue was resolved efficiently, I requested a phone conference for a new tax issue because the details of the issue were complicated and a phone conversation was simply more efficient. They charged me almost $700 for the conference call AND the response to the emails that I sent requesting the conference call AND the follow-up emails they sent after the conference. That is absolutely unfair. These were calls about assisting with a new issue. You mean to tell me I was charged to ask questions on whether or not they could be of assistance and then charged for the emails they responded to? Absolutely not.

Unfortunately, few guardianships or conservatorships are dismissed even though they “legally” take away most of our rights and freedoms. In the United States it’s all too easy for relatives or “loved ones” to falsify and file court papers/documents questioning your judgment, competency and mental capacity. -All the more so if you have anything of value. I am a 75 year old retired man with a serious hearing disability that I was born with and a prime example of an easy target for another’s control and financial gain. It is absolutely much boggling. A person does not have to have to have a history of strokes (CVA), dementia, or even making poor financial decisions. Older, socially isolated people who possess money, art, cars, and homes are much more vulnerable. If you’ve never thought about having to prove your own competency, you might sit down one evening and think about those people who can attest to your competency. The court appointed evaluators and attorneys leave much to be desired in regards to their knowledge and competency. As a retired triple board-certified adult, adolescent, and child psychiatrist who conducted with court ordered and private competency evaluation’s, I was immediately aware of the inadequacies of both the court appointed evaluator and attorney who were not impartial to my case as they had already read and believed (without even meeting me) by older children’s sworn allegations. My only meeting with them (along with a police officer) was a 1 o’clock in the afternoon unannounced appearance at my home (let in by my partner) after being made led to believe it was a very unnecessary “wellness check” called in my children whom live locally and have visited a total of 3-4 times over the past 6+ years. I was woken up out of a deep sleep for questions without my hearing aids on and the next day I found out I was found incompetent with all assets frozen. The conservatorship and guardianship l laws in the United States unfairly favor the person or persons relatives making the allegations. This could be losing complete control of your finances, home, art, property, etc. And even damage your reputation among friends and colleagues. Very few guardianships or conservatorships are EVER overturned (4%) even though the results could mean being involuntary confined to an assisted living or nursing home. IF you now realize you need help navigating this tricky and legal journey full of potholes, lies, distortions, incompetence and judicial cronyism, I highly recommend Ms. Diane Weinberg and her paralegal Cheryl. Diane and Cheryl will give you the support and encouragement that you need, helping you navigate through a complicated and threatening legal process. They will cut through the fluff and sooner you on the important matters. Addition, I found them to be tough, stubborn, knowledgeable, reliable, caring, kind and trustworthy authorities and geriatric live in Georgia. They’re high level of experience and understanding of older clients legal problems and their ability to make a difference places them at the top of my list of Georgia’s attorneys for the elderly population. I hope you do the same.

My wife and I never envisioned that we would be dealt the responsibility of becoming guardian and conservator of a family member, but when life throws a curve, you must adapt and find ways to push forward. That is exactly what Diane did for us. She did not remove the responsibility from us, but she went above and beyond to answer ALL our questions, and provide support to us for situations before, during, and after the court hearing. Followed all his recommendations and after serving the so called mental rehab facility with a formal petition to discharge my husband on a Friday at 455 pm and multiple hours of patiently waiting for my motion to be received by an employee that never gave it to him..
Guess what happened??
The same medical staff that said to my husband that petition won’t do anything called me the very next day at 9am stating that my husband was going to be discharged in a couple of minutes..
FOLLOW ALL HIS RECOMMENDATIONS! Yes the motion was one of the recommendations but some other magical touches expedited everything but I will let him share that with you as he knows what he’s doing and will definitely provide you with the best advice.

It is very rare that I take the time to write a review, much less a recommendation letter but my experience with the Peck Group, specifically Jason Peck warrants the effort.
In 2019 I found myself in a major predicament. An LLC I had invested in several years prior had neglected to pay required taxes including payroll trust fund taxes. To make matters worse I was designated as a "responsible party", even though I was just a passive investor and had nothing to do with the company's operations.
I contacted an attorney I had used in the past for various business purposes to seek advice. He immediately recommended that I contact Jason Peck.
After my initial consultation with Jason I knew I was at the right place. Jason did not sugarcoat the situation. He explained to me how seriously the IRS takes payroll trust fund tax violations and the fact that my official time to challenge my designation expired only made it a bigger hurdle. But he also confidently stated that although my situation was "out of the box", his job was to find someone within the IRS hierarchy that would not only listen to the facts but also have the authority to over turn an unjust situation. Jason then facilitated a "compromise" action with the IRS.
In April of 2020, my financial advisor/broker informed me that the IRS had levied several hundred thousand dollars from my account which required that my account be liquidated!
I immediately called Jason in a panic. The first thing Jason did was tell me to "take a deep breath" and committed that he would do everything possible to rectify the situation. The first thing Jason did was contact my broker, assure him that a mistake had been made and implore him not to do anything with my account. Jason then obtained from my broker the specific IRS agent that facilitated the garnish process. Within a couple of hours Jason contacted the IRS agent, convinced him that a mistake had definitely been made, and got the IRS agent to immediately provide documentation to the brokerage house that indeed a mistake had been.....all accomplished within 24 hours!
Jason's efforts didn't stop there. Over the next several months Jason was persistent to find that "person" within the IRS who again, would listen and had authority. Eventually Jason identified the correct IRS employee to address my situation. Jason successfully argued and IRS agreed that I was NOT a "responsible party"!
Obviously, I was ecstatic about the final outcome, but it was how Jason conducted himself throughout the process that has made such an impression on me. From day one Jason made an effort to know all the facts regarding my case; not only asking many initial questions but following up on several occasions just to make sure there was nothing overlooked. He consistently reached out to let me know the status of my case, even when it was to tell me there was nothing to report. I never felt I was falling through the cracks but rather felt that my case was important to him.
So with that said, it should be no surprise that I HIGHLY recommend the Peck Group to represent, whether it's an individual or company, anyone who finds themselves with any tax litigation issues.
