My husband passed away this fall and I needed to update our existing trust documents. My financial advisor referred me to Long Hagan Huff-Harris and I’m so glad he did. From the first call they explained how they would set up not only my new trust documents, but my revised Will, Health Care Proxy and Power of Attorney. They made it easy to understand, set up Zoom meetings to finalize my wishes and I only went to their office to go over the documents and sign my approval. I would, without hesitation recommend Long, Hagan, Huff-Harris for your legal needs.

I cannot recommend Attorney Scott Wittlin of Sassoon Cymrot Law LLC highly enough. Scott took the time to thoroughly educate my aunt and me on the intricacies of trusts, ensuring we understood every detail. His approach was refreshingly straightforward, empathetic, and professional. Having worked with many lawyers in the past, I often walked away feeling overcharged or underwhelmed. However, Scott is a true standout. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also deeply committed to serving the best interests of his clients. His transparency and dedication gave us peace of mind throughout the process. If you’re looking for an attorney who combines expertise with genuine care, Scott Wittlin is the one to call.

I have been a long term client of Thornton Law Firm which started in the 1980's. When medical issues arose in my family we contacted Thornton and immediately after Andy Wainwright contacted us. Throughout the whole process he was very professional and explained in step by step manner the legal process we were in and our plan of action. Andy has been at our side for the last 7 years and throughout that time he has always been there when we needed him not only as our lawyer but as a friend. We are very grateful for the Thornton Law Firm and especially Andy for all their hard work and dedication they have put into my family. We give them a 5 star rating!

We initially contacted the Thornton Law Firm via their website regarding a mesothelioma case. Immediately, we received a call from Attorney Andrew Wainwright and he made us feel comfortable during a difficult time. Throughout the process we were always well informed and things were always simply explained every step of the way. Mr. Wainwright was very courteous, kind & compassionate and felt like part of our family. All matters were always handled with the highest levels of professionalism. The settlements were processed and delivered in a timely manner. I highly recommend Andy Wainwright and the Thornton Law Firm. I give them a 5-star rating.

As a lawyer, with over 30 years of experience, I've come to know what a good lawyer looks like and I can tell you it includes the likes of Mary Schmidt and her team. Every once and awhile, a lawyer needs his or her own lawyer to represent them. When I needed a lawyer for a tricky probate litigation matter, there was no question but to seek advice and counsel from Mary Schmidt and her team. She is smart; capable and available, not to mention, extraordinarily hard working and good judgment and common sense. It was a bonus that both the Judge and clerks of the court knew and respected her. I recommend her without reservation.

I had one of the worst experiences with casey lundregan burns plc firm. I have hired them to represent me in a case which I had such a confidence in them thinking this company would do a good job by working on my behalf, at first they give me all the confidence I needed and in the end it was a disaster. They mislead me treated me in a bad manner by not replying to my emails. Neglect me most of the times and wasn't working in my interest. I wouldn't recommend this firm to no one at all, to all clients out there be very careful of this firm. Not a good firm, I have got a very bad experience from this firm.

Communicative, empathetic, persistent and professional My mother passed away, predeceased by my father. The estate executor was not fulfilling their responsibilities, after over five years. I offered my assistance to the executor and was repeatedly rebuffed. After consulting with several friends, who are attorneys specializing in other areas of law, I was urged to hire an attorney who specializes in family law. I immediately thought of Chris Casey, who I have known for many years. We are both members of the Salem Rotary Club. After meeting with Chris, and his associates, I knew I was in the right place. I immediately felt as if a huge weight had been lifted from my shoulders. I was assured they had handled many cases like this before and would be able to help me. They demonstrated great empathy throughout the process, which helped me get through this difficult time. I was apprised of the ongoing legal action through constant communication via email and phone. The executor continued to be very uncooperative, but my attorneys were persistent. We were forced to go to trial. There were seven pretrial hearings and eventually, due to the uncooperative executor, a trial was needed. During the trial, my attorneys were amazing. The executor and their attorney were left speechless. The judge ruled in my favor on every contested issue. They handled my case with professionalism and achieved an outstanding result. They did such a great job, that I hired them to help me with another family issue concerning a property in Florida. This is an outstanding law firm. Do not hesitate to hire them for your case.

I'm reading these reviews and wondering why our experiences were so vastly different from the experiences of many. Jordana was unresponsive, distracted during meetings and seemed to buddy up to the other party's attorney at our expense. The only upside of our experience was that she didn't charge us anything. Then again, she did nothing for us either, other than waste a lot of our time. Fortunately, we found another lawyer who was just perfect! But beware, it sounds like when Jordana is "on" she's great but when her heart isn't in it, she is awful.

When my parents first hired Attorney Tricia Shumaker to prepare their estate plan, they had no idea they were running out of time and on the precipice of needing far more than estate planning. Within a few weeks of working with Tricia, unexpectantly, my father became gravely ill. Fortunately, they picked the right attorney! Tricia came to the house for the convenience of my 90+ year old parents. She patiently and compassionately listened to my parents’ wishes, asking questions, attending to all the details, and making sure that she fully understood my parents’ goals and that they understood her role. She explained to my parents all the financial issues they were faced with and provided prudent guidance through these complicated decisions. Tricia and her team went into immediate action, creating all legal documents, including wills, power of attorneys, health care proxies, trust and all the legal work behind these documents, all completed in record time. Goal accomplished! Tricia’s command of Elder Law, Estate Planning and the Massachusetts legal and Medicaid health systems is second to none. Then, when my mother could no longer remain at home alone, Tricia worked her magic again, successfully navigating the Massachusetts legal and medical systems with huge success. Throughout the entire complex process, Tricia explained each detail/nuance, of which there were many, making sure I fully understood each step. This was a difficult time for us, yet she was stalwart, persistent, professional, and successful in settling our mother in an appropriate nursing facility. Another goal accomplished! Tricia is very precise, professional, thoughtful, compassionate, and thorough. She is a brilliant elder law and estate planning attorney. I have 1000% trust and confidence in Tricia and 1000% recommend her services.

After attending seminars for quite awhile, I decided, over 4 years ago, to shop for an Estate Planning and Elder Law Attorney. A friend recommended Attorney Shumaker. When I called her, she offered me a free consultation. The moment I met her, I was struck by her knowledge and also her kindness and patience. I knew she was the attorney that I should chose to help me navigate the world of estate planning and guide me through many difficult decisions. It has been a pleasure to work with Attorney Shumaker over these last 4 years. She is a gifted attorney. Her knowledge of the complex field of Elder Law and Estate Planning is impressive. But she is always able to break down the complexity in an easy understandable way. In addition, she is quick to respond to any question I have, she gives me confidence and peace of mind. She is always calm. I am very thankful I have Patricia Shumaker as my attorney and I envision our relationship to continue through the many years ahead.

Attorney Matta helped me draft a pretrial memorandum and has always provided me with excellent legal advice. Attorney Matta is undoubtedly great at what she does. She is incredibly intelligent and will work hard to fight for her clients but the best part of working with her is she is extremely personable and understanding. She has an expansive resume and many years of experience as a family attorney so she’s seen it all. A lot of times she was able to finish my sentences when explaining my legal troubles. Attorney Matta is also extremely fair when it comes to payment, and she worked with me which was nice. She also doesn’t forget about her clients, and her concern for the outcome of their case is genuine. I will definitely continue to consult and potentially hire Attorney Matta in the future and would recommend her to anyone in need of legal representation.

I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Roman as my lawyer for two separate affairs. One being as an immigration lawyer, I cant express enough all the things she did for us. Not one day would go by and I wasn't contacted by her or her office. At the completion of our case she continued to check to make sure with us that all was going okay. VERY PROFESSIONAL. The second occasion, was my divorce. I called her and within 2 days i was in her office starting my process. She is efficient and very through in her dealings with " the other side". I was living in another state and she made everything EASY! I was and will always count on her for her help and she is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED as a great lawyer to all i know.

Melissa was highly recommended to me by an attorney. I am so glad I hired her to handle my Bankruptcy case, considering that I was in middle of divorce in 2015 and property was involved, so let's face it, I was terrified, considering that divorce attorney's and judge were watching my steps, and anxiously were waiting for the results. In beginning of 2016 my case was approved. Personally I was skeptical, nervous of loosing the property, but Melissa was right there with me, she was on top of everything that bankruptcy court communicated and she knew the steps, and always professional, calm and she truly understood how bad/complicated my situation was. She has inspired me in so many ways; considering that she's young, dedicated and she has plenty of experience on her line of work. I would highly recommend Melissa Conner as your bankruptcy attorney. She held my hand through the process and was very understanding of my financial and overall situation. Bankruptcy was the last thing ever that I thought would happen to me, but life is unpredictable. Melissa gave me a brand new beginning that I much needed it. Bankruptcy is a fresh new start in life. I will always highly recommend Melissa for her knowledge of law and for her dedication to each clients and case. Thank you very much Melissa and I wish you only the best.

I had been trying for a few yrs to get this task accomplished. Jason is very professional and compassionate, he truly understands how family's feel going through this rather tedious ordeal. I don’t know what we would have done without Jason. My husband and I hired Jason to help us obtain guardianship for our disabled daughter who turned 18 years old this past December. From our initial meeting to help us understand what the guardianship process entailed, to our last meeting in court, Jason was an amazing resource and always so patient and understanding…no matter how many questions I had. My husband and I thought the final court appearance would be a simple formality, but unfortunately, we had a rather cold judge who made it a very unpleasant experience. Thanks to Jason’s calm, knowledgeable and professional demeanor with this judge, we were granted guardianship. We would highly recommend Jason as an attorney who is extremely smart, kind, and professional!

I am the representative payee for my adult disabled son. After five years of my son being disabled and collecting disability, his Doctor and I received a form to fill out for a medical review to see if he was "still disabled." I filled this out perfectly describing my son's day to day life and impairments. Although I am a medical professional, obviously I did not do this as well as I perceived as just before Christmas 2014, we received a notice stating my son was no longer disabled and his disability payments would stop in two months. Social Security was not at all helpful and gave me the run around re: the appeal process. Sometimes Social Security employees were not nice or helpful. I knew we needed help. I researched disability attorneys and found Jason. All I can say is "Thank God." He met with both of us and asked questions about my son's disability and symptoms. My son and I provided all the answers to the review to him however Jason worded it in the manner that SSDI requires, unlike what I had done in the previous summer. He was kind, patient, and understanding. There were a few times when my emotions got the better of me, "How can they do this to us?" These were the times when Jason stood behind us and helped us stand on our own two feet. He directed us in following the instructions on the appeal as they are not easy to understand, Jason understood exactly what they were and explained them in a manner that was both understandable and helpful, never degrading. On May 6th of this year, I received the notice from disability stating that after reviewing all the information, they found my son to continue to be disabled, therefore there was no need for a hearing. Of course I would prefer my son to not be disabled. However it is what it is and I do not even want to think of how awful this denial could have been without Jason. I wish I had known him and used him to initially get disability for my son back in 2009 as that process was not pleasant and took three denials/appeals. I definitely could not have done this without his help! My husband and I are now going to be using Jason for estate planning and our wills.

He was very professional to work with and set the proper expectations where he gave me various options on services that he could provide me. When I told him what I wanted he gave me breakdown of all fee's associated with his level of service. I was 100% satisfied with the services that he provided me and I would absolutely recommend Nik to family and friends.

Nancy Parchesky of Personal College Advising would like to thank Jen Taddeo of Doherty, Ciechanowski, Dugan & Cannon, P.S., for helping her boys with their health proxys. Parents need to be aware of the law concerning their children eighteen and over (especially those who have a child going away to college): once a child is 18 hospitals do not need to include the Parent's wishes in the decision making process. Jen is running a special program just for this situation, and I, for one, sleep better knowing my boys decisions will not be left to the insurance company. My children, also feel better knowing they have a lawyer they know and can contact if need be.

My wife and I had put off doing any estate planning for a long time. In fact it was the only open item in our financial plan. Part of the issue was that my wife and I were being a bit irrational and just wanted to avoid the topic. Jen made the process easy and painless, and a little fun. My wife, Jen and I laughed our way through the process. Jen's pre-first meeting checklist and final meeting "flowchart" made us feel extremely comfortable that everything that was supposed to be covered was and that we understood all the contingencies. As we left the final (signing) meeting, my wife said to me, "she's really good and make this stuff easy and comfortable, you should refer her to everyone you know". So, I will do that as well as endorse Jen wholeheartedly here in a public forum.

Jennifer is an Estate Planning Attorney with outstanding legal acumen, and a great passion for her area of expertise. Composing an estate plan is a daunting and emotional task but with Jennifer's guidance and compassion, the process ensued without anxiety. She is a very creative individual who helped us condense our wishes into a detailed and executable legal document, while ensuring we were comfortable with the results. As a non-attorney, I found Jennifer very patient and unassuming as she explained each section and the related implications to our heirs and estate. I recommend Jennifer's work with the utmost regard to anyone in need of a thorough and high-quality estate plan.

Claire represented me in both the sale of my condo and the purchase of my new home. Her prices were fair and she was both thorough and prompt in her work. During a somewhat stressful time, Claire was quick to respond and was thoughtful in her responses, explaining everything carefully and completely. Claire made this a smooth process and made me feel at ease the entire time. I would use her again and would recommend her to anyone looking to buy or sell.

Claire helped me negotiate a lease in the North End with my current landlord who was represented by a difficult broker. Claire was able to convince the landlord to incorporate terms my roommate and I were looking for, and do so in a cost effective manner. I will definitely be calling Claire again when I am ready to buy my first home!

Attorney McClintock helped my husband and me purchase our first home - a very daunting process! As first time home buyers, we had many questions and Claire was always available by email and phone to answer even the smallest question. She explained everything thoroughly but in a way we could understand. She responded promptly to ensure the process moved along quickly and smoothly. Even after we moved in, she happily helped with details we forgot (like were our real estate taxes pre-paid to the town). Claire is very friendly and knowledgeable so we knew we were in good hands! I would highly recommend her to anyone buying or selling a home!

The nature of estate planning is intimate and personal. If you do it right, your estate planning attorney will have to be invited into the intimate dynamics of your family. After meeting Scott and his team, my partner and I had no hesitation in doing that. But neither of us had ever previously worked with any professional - attorney or otherwise - who made us feel so intimately a part of their professional family as well. After working with Scott and his team for the past six years, we feel a part of their family - they know who we are as people and we know who they are as people. They "get us" and we "get them." It is a relationship that far surpasses anything I conceived of as an attorney-client relationship before or since. We feel incredibly lucky to have Scott on our team.

I did a lot of research in selecting an attorney to build my estate plan. Having already lost a spouse to death, I have a great appreciate for how important solid estate planning is to family members left behind. Scott and his staff are the best one could hope for. Their process is very personal and shows that the firm cares deeply about your family and your wishes to protect them. I hired Scott to prepare an estate plan for my blended family with an unmarried partnership just before the birth of my youngest daughter. Scott's years of experience and expertise allowed him to easily manage the complexities of both an unmarried partnership and children from a previous relationship. He and his staff kindly took the time to explain to me anything I did not understand and then made a few revisions at no additional cost. I will continue to turn to Scott for all of my estate planning needs and recommend him to family and friends.

Attorney Paul Moraski is THE BEST criminal defense lawyer! When my son was falsely accused of a crime that he didnt commit and all the cards were stacked against him, we felt defeated. We called multiple lawyers and had multiple consultations and each lawyer agreed to take his case but they all wanted him to plead guilty. This would have meant my son pleading guilty for something he didn't do, having a permanent conviction record, possible jail time, license suspension, fines, and court fees. I understand that this was the fastest, easiest, and least costly way out but this would have had a huge negative effect on my sons life and his career. He would not being able to work in his profession and run his current business. He worked so hard to get where he is by going to college, his internships and now owning and running his own business. This entire ordeal was a devastating blow to my family and we were so blessed and grateful that we found Paul! ( He asked us to call him Paul during our first meeting) We knew from the first consultation that we needed to hire him! He was the first lawyer out of many that believed in my son and believed we had a strong case and didn't want him to just plead guilty. This entire thing was foreign territory for us. Paul was very knowledgeable through the entire process, he explained things to us in detail and kept my family in the loop the entire way during my sons case. We couldnt afford to retain a lawyer, but Paul worked with us on payment plans! Paul was very professional in and outside of court and is also a very sharp dresser! I would recommend Paul to anyone looking for a great defense lawyer!

I was first referred to Donna Turley and Glickman-Turley by my now deceased partner during the sale of my condo in Boston, in January, 2012. As a result of some of life's "unexpected twists and turns", we were prompted to consequently sell the townhouse that we had purchased together, and so we naturally called upon Donna and Company to execute that transaction, as well. During the course of that sale, in November 2012, several personal challenges ensued, including the untimely death of my partner, a job change, and a relocation for me to the West Coast. Throughout it all, Donna Turley and Kristine Grimes (Office Manager, Paralegal) were concrete in their resolve to successfully navigate this process for me, even in my absence, and to provide the necessary professional (and in my case, a very personal) support to close on the sale on schedule. Aside from the expected outcomes above, this dynamic duo also uncovered a complex and confusing lot-line abnormality on the second property, and are still in the process of correcting a mis-filed poperty loan pay-off by another attorney from the purchase of my first home back in 1999. After having hired Donna and Kristine's services for 2 consecutive home sales, I can honestly relate that they provide a level of attention FAR ABOVE AND BEYOND the norm, and that their excellent customer focus really stands out, especially in this day and age when service lapses and impersonal practices are commonplace by many companies. I am prompted to shout their praises load and clear on this forum, and will most certainly recommend their services to prospective clients whenever possible. Thank You.

Being novices, Mr. Moore took the time to breakdown the applicable state and federal laws in order to fully explain our different options as well as the pros and cons of each option. I am very grateful to Attorney Osborne for his honesty and integrity. During my consulation, Attorney Osborne was extremely attentive, asked a lot of questions and took a lot of notes. At the conclusion of our consultation, Attoney Osborne gave me his honest opinion that he didn't think my case was one that could be won easily. That would mean it could be very costly to me. This immediately told me Attorney Osborne was a man of integrity, not greed. I had learned quite a bit from the information I had read on Attorney Osborne's website prior to our consultation, which helped me prepare for our meeting. What an Estate Planning Lawyer Can Do for You

An estate planning lawyer helps individuals plan for the management and distribution of their assets after death or during incapacitation. Their services involve drafting important legal documents, such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. Estate planning attorneys work to ensure that your assets are transferred according to your wishes, minimize tax liabilities, and avoid probate court. They also help clients plan for potential long-term care needs and protect their estate from being diminished by healthcare costs.

By working with an estate planning lawyer, you can have peace of mind knowing that your loved ones will be cared for and that your estate will be managed efficiently and according to your desires.

When Should I Hire an Estate Planning Lawyer?

Hiring an estate planning lawyer is beneficial in many situations, especially when you want to ensure that your assets are handled properly after death. Common reasons to hire an estate planning lawyer include:

  • Drafting a will: If you want to clearly define how your assets will be distributed after death, an attorney can draft a legally sound will.
  • Creating a trust: For those looking to avoid probate or provide for loved ones over time, setting up a trust can help manage the distribution of assets.
  • Planning for incapacity: An estate lawyer can help draft powers of attorney and healthcare directives so that your financial and medical decisions are made by someone you trust if you become incapacitated.
  • Minimizing estate taxes: If your estate is large, a lawyer can help create strategies to reduce or eliminate federal and state estate taxes.
  • Special circumstances: If you have minor children, blended families, or complex assets like businesses, an estate planning lawyer can create tailored solutions.
  • Guardianship or conservatorship: If you want to designate guardians for minor children or ensure proper care for incapacitated adults, an attorney can help.

Hiring an estate planning lawyer is especially important if your estate is complex or if you want to ensure that your wishes are properly followed.

What Does an Estate Planning Lawyer Do?

An estate planning lawyer provides a range of services designed to help you organize your affairs and ensure your estate is managed according to your wishes. They can:

  • Draft wills and trusts: Creating legally binding documents that dictate how your assets will be distributed and managed.
  • Create powers of attorney and healthcare directives: Appointing someone to make financial or medical decisions for you if you become incapacitated.
  • Minimize taxes: Developing strategies to reduce estate taxes, gift taxes, and other financial liabilities for your heirs.
  • Help avoid probate: Structuring your estate plan to avoid probate, which can save time and money for your beneficiaries.
  • Advise on long-term care planning: Helping you plan for potential healthcare needs in the future, including Medicaid planning and protecting assets from being depleted by nursing home costs.
  • Assist with beneficiary designations: Ensuring that life insurance policies, retirement accounts, and other financial instruments are correctly designated.
  • Handle probate and estate administration: If a loved one has passed away, an estate planning lawyer can help guide you through the probate process or act as an executor.

How Are Estate Planning Lawyers Paid?

Estate planning lawyers typically charge for their services in one of several ways, depending on the complexity of your estate and the type of services you need. Common payment structures include:

  • Flat fee: Many estate planning services, such as drafting a will or trust, are charged on a flat-fee basis. The fee covers all work related to preparing the document.
  • Hourly rate: For more complex planning, such as estate tax strategy or trust administration, lawyers may charge by the hour. Rates vary based on the lawyer’s experience and location.
  • Retainer: Some lawyers require a retainer for more complex cases, such as ongoing trust management or estate administration. The retainer is an upfront payment that covers future legal services.

It’s important to discuss fees with your lawyer upfront to avoid unexpected costs.

How Much Does an Estate Planning Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring an estate planning lawyer depends on the complexity of your estate and the services you require. Here are some general guidelines:

  • Simple wills or powers of attorney: A straightforward will or power of attorney may cost between $300 and $1,500, depending on your location and the lawyer’s experience.
  • Trust creation: Establishing a trust, such as a living trust or revocable trust, can cost between $1,000 and $3,000 or more, depending on the complexity of your assets and estate planning needs.
  • Comprehensive estate planning packages: Some lawyers offer packages that include wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives, which may range from $2,000 to $5,000 or more, depending on the estate’s complexity.
  • Hourly rates: For ongoing services like estate administration or tax planning, lawyers may charge hourly rates ranging from $150 to $500 or more, depending on the lawyer’s experience.

Always get a clear estimate of costs during your initial consultation to ensure the services fit within your budget.

Top Questions to Ask an Estate Planning Lawyer

Before hiring an estate planning lawyer, it’s important to ask questions to ensure they are the right fit for your needs. Here are key questions to ask during your consultation:

  1. What is your experience with estate planning?
Ensure the lawyer has substantial experience drafting wills, creating trusts, and handling other estate planning services.
  2. How will you charge for your services?
Clarify whether the lawyer charges a flat fee or by the hour and ask for a detailed estimate of costs.
  3. What strategies do you recommend for my estate?
A good lawyer should be able to explain the best strategies for minimizing taxes, avoiding probate, and ensuring your assets are distributed according to your wishes.
  4. How often should I update my estate plan?
Ask how frequently you should revisit your estate plan, especially if your financial situation or family dynamics change.
  5. Do you offer ongoing support or updates?
Some lawyers provide periodic reviews or updates to ensure your estate plan stays current with changes in your circumstances or the law.
  6. How will you help my beneficiaries if something happens to me?
Ensure the lawyer is willing to guide your heirs through the estate administration process or help manage your trust after you’re gone.

How to Check the Credibility of an Estate Planning Lawyer

To ensure you’re hiring a credible estate planning lawyer, follow these steps:

  • Verify their state bar license: Check with your state bar association to confirm that the lawyer is licensed and in good standing, with no history of disciplinary actions.
  • Look for estate planning certifications: Some lawyers are certified as estate planning specialists, which indicates they have extensive knowledge in this area of law.
  • Read client reviews and testimonials: Online reviews on sites like Avvo, Google, or Martindale-Hubbell can provide insight into the lawyer’s professionalism and client satisfaction.
  • Ask for references: A credible lawyer should be able to provide references from previous clients who can speak to their expertise and client service.
  • Check for membership in professional organizations: Lawyers who are members of organizations like the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) or the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) often have a strong reputation in the field.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To get the most out of your first meeting with an estate planning lawyer, it’s important to come prepared. Here’s what you should bring:

  • List of assets and liabilities: Provide a detailed inventory of your assets, including real estate, bank accounts, retirement funds, investments, and personal property, as well as any debts you may have.
  • List of beneficiaries: Be ready to discuss who you want to receive your assets and in what proportions. This includes naming guardians for minor children if applicable.
  • Existing estate documents: Bring copies of any existing wills, trusts, powers of attorney, or other relevant estate planning documents.
  • Questions about your estate goals: Write down your goals, such as avoiding probate, reducing taxes, or setting up charitable donations, so your lawyer can tailor a plan to meet your needs.
  • Information on medical and financial decision-makers: Be prepared to discuss who you want to appoint for healthcare and financial decisions if you become incapacitated.

By being well-prepared, you can ensure a productive consultation and begin building a comprehensive estate plan that meets your needs and protects your loved ones.
