We had a very bad experience with Mr. Hwang. This was the only appointment we had with him. I think he is impersonal, angry, self absorbed and not patient.
What do people need when they are going through the worst of their lives? -Patience, kindness and awareness of other people’s feelings, as death can be devastating for the family and friends.
Knowledge without these traits is like getting a big enciclopedia.

In 2020, Chas Horner of Wise Cat Legal drew up estate planning documents for me. I have nothing but praise for the work he did. He was thorough, timely, and explained things very carefully and clearly. He was easy to talk with, patient and compassionate. I found his fees to be reasonable and would not hesitate to work with him again.

I went to Chas for Estate planning needs. He was great. He got back to me right away with every question I had and his explanations were clear. He's a good listener and brought up important issues I hadn't thought of about my particular situation. He completed the work quickly and he got every tiny detail right, even down to who will be my cat's new owner if I "predecease" her-- that had been a worry of mine. His price was very fair. I highly recommend.

This is the worst attorney I’ve ever dealt with. Kolego seemed more focused on taking my money than helping with my case. From day one, it felt like he was working against me, not for me. He barely communicated, never provided a clear plan, and dragged everything out. Instead of fighting for me, he actually suggested giving up. Don’t waste your time or money on him—find someone who will actually advocate for you.

I’ve had 2 short consults with him and my friends have hired him before. He is a busy man but he will help you if he can, his retainers are reasonable compared to others, he’s experienced and has been on big cases and he will be straight up and honest in making sure to answer you’re questions. I wasn’t sure the first time, but I do like him. Hire him up!

Brian Thompson guided me through dealing with my mother's estate. We had an initial consultation where he told me to keep excellent records. I had no idea how important that emphasis would be at the time, but after that I made sure to keep everything in a spreadsheet. I don't know how I could have done this without Brian and the tax professional we used.
Along the way I found the process complicated due to some weird small investments my mother had, and selling her house. It was not a huge estate, but it was complicated.
Every time I asked Brian a question in email he answered back with clear recommendations. He even called me once when he sensed that I was confused.
I would use him again.

Patrick Crawley was already busy enough when I called looking for a divorce attorney after another had me wait for five weeks and emailed they wouldn’t take my case. I had lost valuable time. I've known of Jim Walsh since my High School days. He was a couple years ahead of me; I've always admired his demeanor and grit. You never think you'll need an attorney until you do. And I needed one a few years back. I was ticketed for a DUI that was not your usual DUI. I was eating dinner with an old flame who I knew for years. She worked as any ER nurse at a local hospital here. She was unhappy that I didn't want to take her back and resume our relationship. At the end of our meal, which included drinks (too many) she got up and went to the restroom. We payed the bill and went to the parking lot where she said she didn't want to come over to my house at that time. Got in my truck and pulled out on the main road. Looked ahead and wasn't shocked to see two cruisers no more than 100 yards down' the road. I knew immediately what had happened. She had called a police friend of hers from work turned me in to him. I drove by the cruisers (they were pointed away from the direction I was going) and they turned and started to follow me. No more than a mile down the road they illuminated and pulled me over. (I was so flustered I failed to signal a turn) Busted. I was incredibly upset about how this went down. A 50's year old man was now screwed. I called Jim and he met me. He helped fill out my initial paperwork and ordered my evidence for review. I was correct in my thinking I was set up. The police report confirmed this. Jim was incredible. He went with me to my court appearances and stood by me. The advice he gave me was spot-on. I wouldn't have made it through the process and might of even done some revenge type activities without him. He even called me nine months later and told me what to do to ensure I got my case dismissed ( after diversion and everything else). He truly cared for me. He was just what I needed. I can truly say that he was more than an attorney. A good, solid attorney (and friend) who payed attention to all the details and held me up through the entire process. I didn't expect this from a lawyer. But Jim is more than just a lawyer. His depth of experience ( he had worked for the same City that I was arrested in) was incredible. I can truly say I wouldn't have gotten through the process without him being right along with me. He's a good man.

Mr. Walsh and myself were involved in two auto accident cases. The first of the two accidents involved an Indochinese woman who was working in Corvallis where she was hit in a crosswalk as she crossed the street. The woman, a friend of mine, had extremely limited English skills. She ask me to assist her in the resolution of her situation. I selected Jim from the yellow pages for a consultation. Upon hearing the plight of this woman, who worked for minimum wage with no health or auto insurance and now hospitalize and unable to work. he drove to Corvallis with me to speak with this woman. He obtained the pertinent information and agreed to take the case for a significantly reduced fee. He worked diligently with myself to resolve the woman's claim. he was compassionate and caring as well as being a knowledgeable and dedicated attorney. The second incident, a head-on auto crash, involved myself. A car crossed the center medium and struck my car. I was not seriously injured, how ever I had a damaged knee, fractured ankle, a cracked rib as well as multiple cuts and bruises to my face, legs, and arms. Jim and his staff worked closely with me through the settlement process, keeping me informed as the claim progressed. Again, Jim demonstrated his knowledge of the law and his understanding of the claim process. As important as his excellent professional expertise, was his personal concern for me as an individual. I was not just a client. He always had time for me and my concerns. I can not express enough the manner in which Jim and his staff treated me. I highly recommend him as a lawyer and as caring compassionate human being. If need, would not hesitate in employing his services again.

I was rear ended by a driver while sitting on my motorcycle at a stop light . I sustained a herniated L4 and an impingement. Jim allowed and encouraged me to focus on my recovery, which, after all is the most important thing, while he and Nancy took care of managing the bills and the surgery related to the accident. Jim's counsel was invaluable to me, since I know next to nothing about the legal system. As we got closer to a settlement Jim worked with me to make sure that I was comfortable with the process and was clear on what should be expected. I truly felt like I had an advocate working with me at every step of the way. In the end, there were no surprises and I left the process feeling like we had done everything well and with integrity. I cannot say enough good things about my experience working with Jim. I would highly recommend getting him onto your team.

I really can't recommend Kelsea enough. She remained professional through some pretty frustrating and stressful litigation with my ex. Most of all I always felt confident that she was advocating for my wants and needs. Needless to say, going through a divorce is an emotional process but I knew that I had an ally through it all who kept in constant communication about every step and made sure that I felt heard and taken care of. Not only was Kelsea available for my every question, the front desk and other employees that worked with her handled my entire divorce process tactfully and with grace. If you want someone in your corner, I recommend her highly.

I am disabled, my husband left me, after 32 years, because he didn't want a disabled wife. I was a hot mess, when I came to Kelsea. She could have told me no, I had to switch to her, with only weeks to go. She took me on, and, because she's in an office with other attorneys, it's like you get all their advice. Kelsea asked others in her firm, more experienced, to make sure all our info was correct. She was fantastic, I was falling apart at the end, and, she hung in there with me, helped me make decisions, get it settled out of court. I was so scared of being sick and alone, no money to live, as I can't work. Kelsea made sure I got the settlement I needed, so I would be OK. I got served again by my ex last night, he wants to terminate my support, and, life insurance he has to keep, with myself as beneficiary. I sent Kelsea an email, and, I have no doubt, she'll do as fantastic a job as before!

I couldn't have predicted how meaningful it would be to take care of my Health Care Proxy, Living Will, and Power of Attorney. Judith did a great job of explaining each document, helping me to clarify my intentions. I appreciated doing this in a group atmosphere because I benefited from other participants questions and I still had a private moment with Judith to go over details. Joel has helped me through a very difficult time when I became very ill several months ago. At the time, I only had a general idea of how I would like my will written how I wanted to allocate what I had acquired.
I didn’t know where to begin so at first I sought out some recommendations and that eventually led me to Joel.
Right off I felt like I had someone who had a serious job but who liked what he did (and was good at it), innately patient and who could easily communicate the what’s and whys of what we needed to document.
Now, I’m so relieved that what I had put off is completed and it was completed in the exact way that I am comfortable with.
I should have done it sooner but then maybe I wouldn’t have met Joel.
The office atmosphere there at the Junction City office is professional but warm and friendly also. I’m glad I got out of town and took the drive!

Great attorney- he specializes in trust.
He really stands behind you. I always feel like he's got my back. Also, he is very experienced I'm guessing he's been doing this for about 40 years. There's no replacement for experience. He has a strategy for everything, and everybody that is needing help with a trust or will. He's very unassuming. Woman he's got the it factor. not something you have to have in an attorney, but it sure doesn't hurt. He is well respected in the legal community. He's got his own practice with just one employee so that is going to keep the cost down considerably. He will do that anyway just cuz he's that kind of guy. he's out to help the underdog, which would be me, and you too if you go to see him. He's downtown you can park free in the over park. he's in the US Bank building downtown.
Robert is a very skilled-talented and effective writer. He possesses the ability to be very compassionate and empathetic. He also has the perfect voice for an attorney. This is a great attribute whether it's in the court room or dealing with other attorneys.

I was referred to John by a co-worker, and after my initial consultation I knew he was the attorney for the job. John is a fantastic lawyer who is extremely knowledgeable, and communicated every step of the process to keep myself prepared for what was ahead. I felt that my problems were now his problems. He was able to get my kids out of the awful living situation they were in while living in another state and into my custody when the services in that state failed to ensure my kid’s safety. He was relentless when the other party thought they could weasel their way out of the situation. He is no nonsense and to the point, and you will truly believe he is out for your best interest in both the situation and financially. My mother passed away in October of 2023. I contacted Mike Romano at Schultz & Associates who came highly recommended by a realtor friend. My mothers Estate went into probate and I was the personal representative. For those who have not dealt with the probate process & laws I will tell you without a good attorney you will be lost. Mike was very patient, communicative & kind. Even when a few unexpected issues came up the probate went smoothly & closed just recently.
I would recommend Mike Romano to anyone as an attorney and person you can trust who gets the job done!

Years ago DHS shared confidential information about an alleged report of sexual abuse. The person who got the information took me to court on 3occasions. He decided to protect my kids. Well if DHS had ever bothered to investigate,they could have read Looking Glass Crisis team assessments. Turned out my kids thought I’d pull them out of counseling if they false reported..Wrong..now you are definitely going.
DHS shared information with anyone who would listen. I was assaulted over this..Ya I need another appointment George..My identity was stolen.
