I recently moved across the country to San Diego and started a business so getting a great/trusted lawyer was high on my priority list. Kris Mukherji was highly recommend to me by a friend and I'm so thankful we connected.
I needed help setting up and S-Corporation for my business and someone to review a purchase agreement. As a first time business owner I had a lot of questions and Kris was always so quick to respond and make sure I understood everything. My S-corp filing was done with hardly any effort from me and was filed in no time. My purchase agreement review ended up being must more involved than we had anticipated. Unfortunately, the other attorneys we worked with weren't the most professional and organized but Kris stepped in and made sure everything in the purchase agreement was completed and done properly (even thought that wasn't his job to do). Lauren helped us with a rodent issue with our landlord. She helped us identify our rights as tenants, inform our landlord of uninhabitable issues, and work through mediation and agreements to settle our move-out and lease termination. Paul was able to help guide us through a recent real-estate transaction dispute. I would highly recommend him and I would hire him again. He was super knowledgeable and friendly. We met with Paul Caprera, who has taken over the practice of retiring Neil Schram, with whom we had a long relationship. Paul and his paralegal Maria Bautista made us very comfortable right from the beginning. I am still in the midst of the legal matter I initiated with Steven and he has stayed the course through various ups and downs always stay true to give his best in my interest and do all he can to maximizes my investment in him.
I have had to partner and get advice from other law firms over the course of this very complicated multi-state matter and by far Steven and SD Biz Law are my preferred firm over all others in the attention, support and value they provide me. This is without question in working with over 6 firms on this matter, and the only other firm that I have found valuable was one he sought out on his own on my behalf to aid us.

In September 2017 I broke my ankle requiring multiple surgeries. It took over two years to not just heal but to settle my case that clearly involved negligence. I had contacted Cline for a horrific, problem ridden Chevy Cruze. I wasn't sure if I would qualify since it was bought as a certified preowned car from the dealership, but with still being under the manufacturer warranty and all, they took my case and won. I do know that lemon law firms take some of the settlement as payment, which is standard for all lemon law law firms, but that some keep different percentages, so you may want to check into that when checking with different firms, but outside of that, I was very happy with Cline. If you don't know if you would qualify for a lemon claim, still call them and they will let you know, as well as explain the process with you. I definitely recommend them due to them being thoroughly knowledgeable of the law, the vehicles they are dealing with, keeping you in the loop, and following through on the claim. The office crew, as well as Brian Cline, took the time to talk to me a number of times, and to have the head honcho take that time, I think was really great.

Spoke with the receptionist after radio silence following an email and voicemail. According to the receptionist Mr. Pawlowski had received my email and voicemail but did not respond. Understandably, his current caseload is too much to take on more, (or that is code for 'my case just wasn't worth his time'). Either way, common courtesy was non-existent. Disappointing for a recommended attorney with glowing reviews.

I hired Blanchard, Krasner & French after my financial planner insisted I consult an attorney regarding the questionable actions of a trustee. A firm in Denver where I live recommended BKF because my trust is based in California. Several months and several thousand dollars later, an investments professional refused to work with me unless I hired an attorney. I told him I DID hire an attorney. "What did they DO?" asked the adviser. I wasn't able to answer. Now I am in the position of deciding whether to pay BKF even more for who knows what. Granted I am a bit naive about working with attorneys. But from where I sit, I've invested a large sum of money and have seen no results.

I retained Warfield from a referral from a family attorney. At first, everything seemed fine, but when it came to the actual representation at the hearing, she didn't do any of the tactics she said she would prior to the hearing - she just shuffled through her papers and that was it. She also shorted me by $800 on my first invoice, transposed numbers on the 2nd invoice, and then played numbers games on the 3rd invoice to try to cover up things and spend up what retainer I had left and more. She even charged me for an item she listed as "No Charge!" All in all, a very shady experience for me. Maybe you'll have better luck.
