Rizwan is a personable individual, but I wouldn’t trust him with serious matters. He earned his law degree later in life and seems to still be finding his footing. What stands out most is his expectation to haggle. He demands a high fee; a much larger, well-established law firm with multiple offices and a team of lawyers handled the same work for a third of Rizwan’s asking price. To make matters worse, he charges a non-refundable consultation fee, something most reputable firms don’t do. His office was in poor condition, and there were no other clients present. It’s disappointing—while you may want to support him due to shared cultural ties, his approach feels exploitative.

I contacted Steve Zelinger when I had some questions regarding my grandfather's estate. I learned about him through Avvo, and contacted him to see if he could help me figure things out. I hired Mr. Cohen to get the job done and he did just that. The only downfall was the time it took to complete my divorce. To no faults of Scott of course. The courts are so backed up it took a while. The positive part was being able to contact Scott and he almost was always available to speak with me. He kept me in the loop with everything that was going on in my case and that was one of the most important things to me. I do recommend Scott if communication is a big deal because he does make it a point to stay in contact and include his client.

Mr. Garibian and his team are true professionals. I had a previous employer contract come back to haunt me and needed some help. Mr. Garibian represented me for over a year of negotiations with my previous employer. I really don't have the words to properly express to my dedicated & relentless law firm. My lawyers worked hard & tireless to get justice, fair & equal treatment for me in my accident case of 2019. The accident left me totally permanently disabled. I ended up with a total of 14 major injuries in my body.
I was totally disrespected by all levels including law enforcement in the area where the accident took place. The attending officer didn't report the facts surrounding the airbag deployment in my transport. The ambulance service, didn't apply appropriate medical equipment like a neck support or a back brace, I had major injuries in the neck & spine as well as 7 other areas of the body. The hospital that I was taken to for treatment & care was a disaster. There was no licensed physician on duty in the entire emergency room. I was not checked out properly in a fully licensed emergency room at a fully accredited & licensed hospital in 2019, whoever heard of such poor treatment & care in a fully functional hospital.
My case was truly a very long hard & difficult case made so intentionally by workers comp claims adjuster & attorneys, only to be proven wrong by my attorneys that really knew how to professionally take All! of the right steps in the right order to prove my case.

Having recently gone through a divorce and the death of a parent, I've had to get my financial house in order. Part of this is estate planning for myself and children. I could not be more satisfied with engaging in this process with Whitney. From the outset, Whitney clearly explained all angles I'd want to consider as we prepared my will and power of attorney documents. Her clear communication and attention to detail made all of this much easier. As a firm, Unruh, Turner, Burke, and Frees has helpful worksheets and booklets that detail the estate planning process. I easily understood what needed to be done on my end. Beyond that, scheduling appointments and dealing with a reschedule went very smoothly. The office experience itself was pleasant; I was treated with courtesy and enjoyed my tea and dark chocolate, as well as the historic building. I didn't think I would enjoy estate planning, but Whitney and her firm exceeded my expectations, and I actually did! I went to three law firms and they were highly recommended. I met Mr Caiazzo and he told me to go home and grieve. He was the only lawyer who actually cared. He was experienced enough to take the time to counsel me. He offered me grief counseling. He touched my heart with his kindness and understanding. I retained him six months later. I can’t say enough about this man. He settled the case while the jury was deliberating. I spoke to the jury afterward and the settlement was way higher than what they were going to award. He knew. He told me that we couldn’t risk the jury not understanding what happened. They didn’t. He donated part of his fee to St Jude’s Children Hospital on my behalf. I may never need a Lawyer again but if I do, I know who I’ll call.

Amy Steerman has been our attorney for over ten years. We met her through a number of members of our parish church. Our first contact was with the preparation of wills, health power of attorney and legal power of attorney for my partner and myself prior to our marriage. She helped us establish an irrevocable trust for both of us. As the years have passed she has helped update our wills.
When my brother was in the hospital in critical condition she came to the hospital and created a power of attorney for him. To ensure the validity of the power Amy had the attending Doctor sign as a witness. I say this to show that Amy is thorough in all of her processes. I had a very complicated ownership of a property with my two brothers. As they each passed away Amy assisted in determining the tax owed to the government in each case. She assisted in all the paperwork required by the government in their deaths. Later when we sold the property she assisted with the settlement (representing both buyer, who was a close friend of ours, and seller). She also assisted in determining the federal tax to be paid.
My father lived in Florida and as his health declined we decided that we needed an attorney in Florida to assist in legal situations. Amy researched and validated his credentials. We were very pleased with her recommendation.
We had a property in Philadelphia with a very difficult and combative tenant. When we decided to sell the property we asked Amy to represent us and handle the request for him to move as we did not want to have any contact with him. She gave him notice to move and informed him that he was not to contact us and any questions (of which there were many) be directed only to her. We were extremely pleased with a situation that we had been dreading for a number of years.
My partner was the executor of a will for a close friend. The will was extremely complicated involving the sale of a big property, funding a trust created by a bank, the distribution of funds to four individuals which included prepaying the inheritance tax for each person. Amy was indispensable in that process. In order to save some money and because it was not in Philadelphia but Montgomery County it was her opinion that he could process most of the requirements himself. When items such as the amount of tax for prepayment et cetera arose Amy provided the answers. She assisted in many other complicated and required procedures that filing a will requires. She recommended a tax accountant for preparing a tax report for the current year and several tax reports that were due in the several years to follow as well as the final tax report. Again, her referral was excellent.
Amy has a way of explaining legal issues clearly for the layperson and she is always available to answer a question. I want to add that she does not follow the practice of billing for 30-second increments and will talk and offer advice without billing for every event. We have recommended her to a number of close friends and without exception, they have been extremely pleased with her service.
We trust her without exception and to show this trust we have requested her to be the executrix of our wills. We highly recommend Amy Steerman.

Sorely disappointed with the way my in-laws estate is being handled. As Attorney for the Executrix, Mr Kivitz has not been timely or responsive.
