Trent (Lead Paralegal) and Kelly Law Team, did a fantastic job assisting our family with our MVA claim. My wife was the victim of an irresponsible 25 year old male driver named ZION KAI PALMOMINO ORTIZ who failed to yield, ran the light and hit my wife's vehicle head on at McQueen and Elliot Rd on February 14, 2024 at 7am. My wife suffered horrific injuries as the result of the other driver's (ZION KAI PALMOMINO ORTIZ) incompetence: internal bleeding, knocked unconscious, an open compound fracture of her right knee with her bone exposed thru her right leg, her right patella was completely destroyed, she had ten broken ribs, a broken left ankle, major loss of blood, a severe concussion, lower lumbar spine damage, and she had to be transported to the hospital as a Jane Doe because she was unconscious when Gilbert Police and Paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident.
My wife's vehicle was totaled and it is a miracle that she was not killed. The other driver, ZION KAI PALMOMINO ORTIZ was arrested and criminally cited. The at fault incompetent other driver, ZION KAI PALMOMINO ORTIZ was arrested by GPD and criminally cited with Offense # 1 90Z-3A 28-672 - SERIOUS FATAL OR INJ ACCIDENT-FAIL TO COMPLY TRAFFIC OFFENSE / ACCIDENT CRIMINAL CHARGING - COMPLETED. (Statute 28-672A SERIOUS FATAL OR INJ ACCIDENT-FAIL TO COMPLY W/ SEC. A1-A7 (M). )
Please know that Personal Injury judgements in the state of Arizona are fully dischargeable when the at fault party files Chapter 7 bankruptcy; when this happens, you will get nothing for your horrific injuries you suffered and for your pain and suffering. So your choices are to spend 2+ years of your life obtaining a personal injury judgement against them only to have them file Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and wipe our your judgment, or accept their auto insurance liability limit on their auto policy and not pursue the personal injury judgement in court. The at fault party gets off Scot free with their only consequence being a higher monthly insurance bill while you have serious health consequences for the rest of your life. When you've never even met the lawyer and live on the other side of the United States, but feel highly compelled to leave him an EXCELLENT rating, then you know you're doing so for the BEST lawyer Phoenix, AZ has to offer. There's a show on Netflix called The Lincoln Lawyer (also a movie from 2011), but there is also a real-life "Lincoln Lawyer" in Phoenix named Gil Hacohen. Mr. Hacohen was hired by my son on what seemed a losing battle child paternity/custody case wherein my son was going up against a gilded, grisly family. "Lawyers for Less" sounded like a long shot for my son, but affordable enough to try. There's a quote that states, "It's not how much money you have that's relevant, but whether you feel rich." Mr. Hacohen, aka Lincoln Lawyer, has been working for my son as if my son has paid him millions!! He got my son his baby boy back, through all the lies and deceit on the other side. There's only been one hearing and Mr. Hacohen made it happen in 30 minutes. My son has his son back! If/when this goes to trial, which I pray it does, I will return to leave my follow-up EXCELLENT review. To you, Mr. Lincoln Lawyer, I thank you from the bottom of my heart!! To say Florence restored my faith in lawyers is an understatement. I've litigated various kinds of matters for 25 years, but I wasn't about to even try and handle my own family law matter, especially one that was as complex and difficult as ours (moving children out of state). That said, I know a good lawyer when I see one. Not only was David incredibly responsive, but he was also thorough, easy to work with, prepared and -- most important -- had the kind of mature judgment that was needed to carefully thread the needle in our case to get the desired result. He left nothing on the table, but he also knew what issues were important and what truly needed to be communicated to the court. While I hope I never need his assistance again, should you have an important family law matter and if he is able to accept your case, you should thank your lucky stars because he and his entire team are truly the best I've ever come across. I want to thank this office, and especially Arcelia. I filed my DACA in February 2017, my work permit expired in July. I never got my work permit, Arcelia did tons of service request they would always email me back to tell me I would hearing from them in 15 days never did. Went and got a copy of my money order and Immigration cashed it on March 3, 2017. After arguing for a couple of months and showing the proof. I got my receipt in August 5, 2017, took my fingerprints and finally after my Attorney's office calling immigration and doing a total of 16 Service request I got Card last week. I was really frustrated and upset but one thing I can say is that every time I called Arcelia she would answer my call, and if she was busy she would tell me I will call you back and she did even if it was at 7 or 8 at night. Thank you very much. There was a point that I honestly thought I wasn't going to get it.

I contacted Nicole when my own Living Will attempt on one of those "do-it-yourself" websites went awry. I had started the living will and trust, but needed to make changes. The online host was not open to making changes, so I found and contacted Nicole. Given the circumstances of stepping into the middle of my self-perceived mess; Nicole was an ace in straightening everything out for me and getting the new documents back to me toot-suite. My wife and I found ourselves in a complicated legal situation with limited funds and we lucky enough to be referred to Danielle. My wife and I selected Samit from a list of attorneys recommended by Hyatt Legal Services, which we subscribe to. He did not disappoint. Although our trust restatement was unique and somewhat complicated, Samit was fine with it. He scheduled a videoconference (this was early on in the pandemic) and we went through what we were interested in doing and why. After a short time, Samit came back with a set of draft documents for our review. We responded with a list of questions, referencing each question by document/paragraph number. We held a second videoconference to discuss the questions. Samit explained all the legalese with practiced skill and patience so that we understood. We discussed changes we were interested in and we each made a list of changes for him to work on. A second draft soon ensued. This time, since so little was off, we were able to make edits directly to the document. He compared the submitted docs with what he sent us, approved the changes, and we had a final set of document and a restated living trust. We met with Samit and a notary public to execute all the documents. And with that, we could finally relax.
Samit was a pleasure to work with. At one point, as our trust desires were complex, I told him that, if what he was getting from Hyatt was not enough, we would gladly add whatever he thought appropriate. He declined, saying that he was being fairly compensated. We were shocked, since the last time we went through this process, our previous lawyer demanded additional payment. We feel this says a lot about Samit's approach - he is our advocate first and foremost.
In short, the whole process was painless and the new set of documents are well done. We were not expecting the professionalism, humor, and general likeability in a lawyer. It was an unexpected surprise. We highly recommend Samit Bhalala.

I first heard Mat Sorensen do an IRA LLC web presentation on Youtube for a custodian company. I like what he had to say and how he said it, he was very clear and sounded very well informed on the issue. I don’t know why I didn’t just call him right away to see if he would help me form my IRA LLC, maybe because he was not in my state?..Maybe because I thought he would be too busy? to expensive???
