I have had the privilege of knowing Lindsey and, peripherally, watching her work for the past several years on an intense, often complex and emotionally challenging custody case, involving a family I care deeply about. Lindsey, at all times, and under extreme duress from the opposing party, kept herprofessionalism, was organized, compassionate and direct, and refused to unnecessarily "run up a bill". This case included many instances wherein Lindsey herself came directly under bizarre attacks and accusations by the opposing party, and she remained objective no matter what was thrown at her. Her sole focus was the welfare of the children in question, and the delivery of justice. Lindsey invests heavily in her clients and their stories, and is beyond reproach in her dedication to both the legal and moral implications of each case. She is astute, intelligent, warm and no-nonsense at the same time. Highly recommend, however, please be aware that because she is so effective, she tends to be booked out months at a time.

Was married for 10 years to an abusive (in every way) man. I was scared to leave because he had threatened to take all my assets. Shana was an absolute shark in the courtroom and exposed my ex husband for the lying, lazy, con man he was. The judge ruled 60/40 in my favor, almost unheard of in Alaska, a 50/50 state.
The divorce did take 757 days and it's going to take a lot of healing, but at least most of my assets were protected. Word of advice to anyone considering marriage - get a pre-nup...all of this might have been avoided. I should have run when he refused to sign one. Hindsight in 20/20, but if you get to the point that I did, you better have Shana Theiler in your corner.

I contacted a law firm and asked for an in-person consultation, but they wanted me to pay a large fee for a phone consultation instead. Since when do we discuss legal matters over the phone? When I requested an in-person meeting, they sent me an email referring me to the Alaska Bar. I can’t help but feel that if my name were Paul Smith, the response would have been different.

They were there for my oldest sister for her will as she was dying with cancer and always professional and went above and beyond to make it as easy as they could for her. This review is long overdue. I know it will make Michael's day when she sees it <3. My CASES (yes plural) were complicated and Michaela and Anastasia handled all my mood swings like true champs. I endured two personal injury incidents within a short period of time. To make things even more complicated, I had preexisting conditions and I was a full time Uber driver. It wasn't easy getting all that was due to me but Michaela came through. There were moments that I lost hope. I'm grateful to this team for setting proper expectations with me so I didn't get my hopes too high. I would rather not expect something and be surprised, then to expect it and not get it. I ended up being pleasantly surprised. For me, my experience with Kelly and Canterbury reinforced the concept of "trust the process". I didn't always trust the process...but you should. I presented Mr. Postma with an extraordinarily complex case that was essentially 30 cases in one. To defend this case required him to develop a good working knowledge of a subject that requires years of study to really understand. He had about a month. He was able to prepare a superb brief and present the facts in a compelling way. He maintained his credibility and objectivity. I don't know the outcome of the case yet but I can say that I was well represented. I have worked with a variety of attorneys over the years and Mr. Postma was the best I have ever worked with.

I have to say, Mr. Postma's reviews are true.
I fired my former attorney and had to find a new one. No one would take my case. Then Mr. Postma gave me a 30 minute consultation. He was suspicious of my reasons for firing my last lawyer but asked me to bring him some documents to verify what I was saying. He then took my case 2 weeks before trial. His cross examination of my wife was fabulous. He found some information on her that even I was not aware of. The judge granted me 50/50 shared parenting time and parental responsibilities, which my former attorney in Greenwood Village said was not likely.
My former attorney made everything so complicated, but Mr. Postma simplified everything for the judge. I now realize I was sputtering whenever I talked about my wife's accusation, and Mr. Postma helped me realize this and helped my simplify was I was really upset about, which turned out to me something that surprised even me. He helped me calm down, helped me realize what was actually important at trial and what was not, and helped me simplify my own testimony at trial and during cross examination.
Mr. Postma is personable and seems to have an actual real life example from his long experience as an attorney for what I was facing, how the judge would process the information, what my ex-wife's motivations were and how she would react at trial, and what the judge's likely decision would be. He is like a chess player who has thought out every possible move a dozen moves in advance. I can't say enough about this attorney.

Hannah has represented me for over a year now on serious criminal charges. She is very easy to get in touch with and always answers her phone and even responds to texts. if she is out of town with the OPA, it does not matter. She finds time for you. Even if its just to talk she is there for you 100%. There is no doubt in my mind that she will be a top attorney in the valley very soon. In the course of my dealing with her some new charges came my way and she was front and center making sure i did not make any mistakes which looking back now was crucial and something that i feel other attorneys would not have done. Hannah appears to be very well connected in the legal world and is very well known. The best way I feel to describe her is that she is a Lioness protecting you, her cub. Her rates are very fair and she cares about you're situation. She was in the jail visiting me before anyone else including my family, just seeing if there is anything I needed or that she could do. This review really will not even going to come close to the amount of gratitude I have for Jimmy White and his team. I would like to start off by saying that if you need someone that will fight hard for you 24/7, Jimmy is your man. I was involved in a custody battle with my ex and used a previous attorney. After an emergency situation, I received full custody of both kids. My ex took me back to court and I decided to use a different attorney and that is when I found Jimmy. He truly is 100% AMAZING in every way, shape and form. He worked tirelessly to get me the outcome I wanted and he did. Shortly after, my ex tried changing the terms of our agreement and Jimmy went right back in fighting hard. He really does have his client's best interest at heart, but more importantly he helped my children and that is something that I will never ever forget. Not only is he a fighter, but he is extremely kind at heart and helps his clients. Negotiations starting stretching out more and more and everyone knows, that can be costly.
