I received a ticket in Grant County and it was a challenge to locate a firm that would go there.
After reaching out to NW Liberty and speaking with Jorge late in the day on a Friday. I didn’t have to do anything, except provide him the necessary documentation. Throughout the process Christopher kept me updated and explained the process. Both Jorge and Christopher provided excellent service and were very responsive. Today, I received great news that my ticket was dismissed.

We cannot recommend Ashley enough. She helped us navigate a complex and emotionally taxing divorce case. The opposing party was extremely erratic, difficult and clearly displayed narcissistic tendencies that made the process even more challenging. I contacted Robert Kaufman for divorce assistance. He was kind, thoughtful, and patient, answering all my questions as though he had all the time in the world. I knew after an hour that I wanted him for my divorce lawyer, even though he told me, since the divorce was uncontested, we would probably be fine with a legal tech, rather than a lawyer. But I wanted to work with him because I liked him, trusted his judgement, and appreciated his rates—which are low, given his many years of experience. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and Bob was always accessible to me by email or phone when I had questions. I recommend him with pleasure.

Molly represented me in a relocation case about 8 years ago. It is not easy to win a relocation case as the non-custodial parent, but thanks to Molly's incredible talent and skill, she won my case and my son and I get to continue to spend meaningful amounts of time together on a regular basis. As she built my case leading up to trial, Molly would identify issues that had real bearing on the best interests of my son and would then build a case by coaching me through the process of developing the facts related to these issues. I use the term "coaching" very intentionally, as Molly really helped to ground me on what were reasonable requests and expectations as a co-parent with my son and encouraged me to engage with my son's mother on the relevant issues despite the inevitable conflict that would ensue. Then, when the trial started, Molly's experience as a litigation attorney on complex corporate cases really showed through. Molly was absolutely brilliant as she clearly articulated our case on each relevant issue. If you are dealing with a fairly straightforward family law issue, you would benefit from working with Molly. If you are dealing with a difficult or complex family law issue (e.g. high conflict co-parent or an issue that could go to trial), it is hard for me to imagine that you could find better representation than Molly.

She was so patient and understanding. She always took the time to explain everything to me and make sure we were all on the same page. Not an easy task when dealing with CPS and the state. She gave me strength and hope when I had little. Helped me to stay calm when frustrated (frequently). And helped me push harder when progress plateaued (often). Sonja was my assigned lawyer a couple of years back and till this day she still is by my side. One thing about Sonja is that she's pretty blunt and so what ever she says its kinda how it goes. I really just put all my trust into Sonja and whatever it was she said I had to do, I just did it and that is why my case was such a success. She is very quick at responding back to emails, via texts, and or phone calls. And definitely always has a winning answer to all of my questions. She's never let me down. When choosing a lawyer for a divorce and custody case, it’s extremely important you pick the best. My divorce was made so much more difficult by my ex, who refused to cooperate at almost every step of the way. The Best decision I made was hiring Virginia Monica Onu to represent me. You definitely want her on your side! Because she will fight for you harder, then you would or could fight for yourself. She is Armed with in-depth legal knowledge and has the skill to know how to apply it in your case. She is professional, articulate, responsive, patient and listens to what you want. She is Assertive when needed and has tenacity. She helped me through a long and grueling mediation that resulted in our success. We avoided going to trial. And she got me everything I wanted in the parenting plan and more than I expected Financially in the Final Divorce Decree. I appreciate all her hard work and success in my case. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great quality divorce attorney.

Attorney Palmer was referred to me by an attorney here in Connecticut that I work closely with. I needed an attorney familiar with Elder Care & Trust issues as well as someone who could be trusted to work with me from a distance since the action took place in Seattle & I live in CT.
John went out of his way to keep me informed prior to our mediation hearing on an ongoing basis. He reviewed volumes of documents and was instrumental in helping me formulate an informed decision on what path I should follow during our mediation hearing. This is the second time I tried an uncontested divorce and it went much much better. The first time was through an online "fill in the blank" site that was useless. This firm provides great directions along the way to try to prevent it from becoming contested. I had to give in a little which is fine so I could get it over with. If it did I had options to try to settle it. Bo is honest about the process and all fees, and tells you exactly what to do. There are NO surprise charges or fees. All in all I'd use this firm again, as he did his job admirably.

Mr. Weintraub was my lawyer for a modification of child-support gate. I think he did a really good job of figuring out my former spouses actual income versus what was reported and even corrected Washington State’s calculations. He looked at his finances and tax returns and I think his tax background helped a lot which is one reason I hired him. Other lawyers I consulted didn’t point them out. He has a very helpful staff and was less cost than many others quoted, so I’m very happy with his overall work.

I hired Araceli after my first attorney became a family law commissioner and had to find another attorney for myself. I had dealt with long term emotional and physical abuse and my ex had an ongoing domestic violence case against him. Araceli and team were God sent at a time when I was also dealing with a major health issue and custody issues. They were compassionate and understanding of what I was going through. Araceli listened and understood my point of view when I had concerns. She also was diligent enough to explain some legal aspects of my case. She was honest in explaining outcomes at different stages and that was very important for me. She may not look very aggressive but she is very smart, knows how to negotiate with opposing counsel and extremely hardworking. I would always get a call back the same day and there is always someone on the team available to answer my questions. I always felt I was in safe hands and was satisfied with final outcome.

I interviewed a few attorneys before I came to Margaret. She was beyond professional when did not judge me in any way. I went through a very difficult time and she was there in every way I needed her to be. I ONLY clicked on ONE lawyer, as time was of the essence when my spouse left me unexpectedly. Something I'd never drempt would happen! He'd cancelled any means he thought I'd have to stand up for my own rights. MARGARET BENDER and her very dedicated staff, DIANA and VANESSA, have all helped me survive down this very sad path we call Divorce! They allowed me to come in immediately. I had called on a Friday night, but they had no idea (nor did I) that I'd make it on a plane and be there that Monday morning! I met Matt and his para Benjamin when my previous lawyer had abruptly left his firm in the middle of my custody case.
Matt quickly got up to speed, and was everything I had hoped for and more. Matt always kept the children’s best interest in absolute focus and never let me astray.
He gave solid advice, showed genuine care, and had a sharp strategy for all the twists and turns, always unwavering in his approach to not add onto the drama (and billing).
It is a great gift to be able to look back and know that every win was done right, and not from punching below the belt.
Going through it, the greatest gift was the firewall he and Benjamin put up in only bringing me what truly needed my attention.
Benjamin deserves his own review as well. I became very ill during the case, and while I was unable to do the paperwork required, Benjamin worked tirelessly with me, combing through piles of paperwork. I was referred to Mr. Frost by my family law attorney. My criminal case and family law case were intertwined and it was important they work together. Mr Frost was very straightforward from the get go. He explained all options and their implications. He was also very willing to listen to my concerns and my feelings and had a way of gathering the information needed. My case went to trial, and Mr. Frost worked quickly and aggressively. When I met Lisa Scott I was going through a very difficult time. I had my own ideas about what I wanted, and had already been to numerous counseling sessions with my ex-wife and knew her radical ideas. I was able to work out a non formal agreement with my ex-wife for only 1 overnight a week, and two evening visits each week. I petitioned for the divorce, my ex-wife wrote a book to the court about what a monster I was, with lies and false allegations. My ex then wanted me to have less time (every other weekend with 1 evening visit a week.
Long story short; With Lisa Scott's aid the court sided with me and immediately gave me a second overnight, and I finally settled out of court on a graduated 50/50 joint shared custody arrangement that I could not be more happy with. My daughter was 10 months old when my ex-wife left. She is now 20 months old and I am so happy with my results. My child support obligation also reflects my time with my daughter, and for that I am also pleased.
Lisa Scott made sure I was in good hands, and helped me protect my rights as a father. She is straight up, passionate about her job, and very knowledgeable.

I did also intend to mention that Attorney Lisa D. Scott is extremely honest in her approach to providing Counsel. She will not "Guild the lily" or make promises she can't deliver, or, immediately ask for a retainer as some others may, but was willing to provide initial guidance on an hourly basis, something of a rarity. She also was very clear about her Ethical position, taking a strong offense to obviously False Accusations made by the other side to "play dirty". She rolled up her sleeves to fight, but only with absolute honestly and an "open book" and "clean hands" policy, being morally superior to "playing dirty". This commitment counters a client's sometimes naturally insulted and emotional urge to "fight back" but then also risk appearing to be seeking retaliation over "Best Interest". If you walk into Court with Lisa by your side, you will know you have an Atty. standing With You, not just next to you. Again, I can not more highly recommend her on a personal level. I you want to fight dirty, go elsewhere. If you want a Capable, Knowledgeable Advocate, this is your Attorney.

She is not only a razor sharp Attorney when it comes to finding details about your case or documents that might otherwise be overlooked, she is a fantastic person. I went through an extremely contentious divorce with Rene by my side and thank goodness. I could trust him always to be honest, ethical and to go after our priorities. He is a kind and empathetic human being and also never wavers in his professionalism. My case involved domestic violence which meant added complications and also meant I was even more all over the place emotionally. Rene was always, always a calm, steadying force bringing me back to center, back to integrity and refocusing me on our priorities. Which made it possible for me to advocate as well as I could for myself and my son - if I had not been able to do that it would have been a big regret for me. I imagine that is an accomplishment in most divorces. But when your ex drags you back into court over and over for years it is a major feat - he has the patience of Job. I should also mention we won almost every point, and ultimately accomplished all of our priorities. Not through snarky fighting or misleading arguments or playing on technicalities (which are a horror to experience in court). In court or mediation, Rene is not theatrical or super aggressive, he is confident, reasonable and matter of fact - from what I have witnessed this is very much appreciated by the legal professionals involved. I probably did not have the presence of mind to acknowledge it at the time - but now I feel as good about how we won as I do about winning.
The other thing people always want to know about is cost. It was not cheap, of course, it took a long time and my ex is really good at creating situations I need Rene to handle for me. But Rene has always been more than fair in his charges, accounting for every penny, and never ‘rounding up’ when he could have easily justified it. He is just as ethical in his billing as he is in his practice of law.
Clearly, I recommend him highly. I am trying to remember what I wanted to know before I started this journey. I went to Rene because my cousin (also an attorney) had seen him practice years before and was so impressed she never forgot his name. When I sat down with him he did not say everything was going to go exactly as I wanted nor did he seem resigned to it happening. I don’t like it when people ‘sell’ me by painting a best case scenario only - and there was none of that. He listened very closely and cut straight to the issues that mattered to me and presented options - which is pretty much the definition of a competent attorney. And I remember looking around his office and seeing multiple awards for ethical practice; which in conjunction with my cousin’s recommendation tells me he is well respected in the legal community. Nothing I have experienced in the intervening years has altered that first impression; it has only grown better.

Rene is more then just legal representative for our family. In representing me in my divorce, he became a champion for my children's custody needs. Rene has represented our family for over 12 years now, continuing to fight for what is in the best interest of the kids financially and emotionally. I found her to be helpful, articulate and dedicated to delivering a good outcome for us as a couple even while serving my interests as an individual. Unfortunately we could not conclude my divorce in the collaborative process, but Loretta did her best. When I first met Sherri I was in a very difficult situation. I was divorcing an abusive alcoholic and was forced to go to trial to gain custody of my children. Due to the circumstances at the time, Sherri had to get up to speed on my case very quickly and we appeared at the first hearing in a week’s time.
