I had a frivolous charge against me, by a coworker who was notorious for assaulting peers. On the verge of being fired from his job for frequent assaults, and in an effort to save his job, the coworker filed 'unwanted touching' charge against me, as I pushed him away during an assault.
The Richland police were unhelpful, unwilling to accept facts, or even call our boss or other coworkers who would confirm the situation.
The prosecutor was unwilling to investigate.
Christine was very helpful. I appreciate her legal knowledge, skill in the courtroom, and her excellent communication ability.
This charge has now been dropped, due to Ms Bennett's efforts. Many thanks!

I have a great deal of respect for Ms. Bennett and how intuitive it was to work with her. Working with Ms. Bennett made my first experience with the law pleasant. Ms. Bennett showed the confidence and persistence it takes to be the best attorney. I felt at ease explaining the most difficult day for myself because I knew she was going to try her best to hear me and help me. When the court suggested fines and jail time, Ms. Bennett suggested alcohol treatment and therapy. 4 counts against me turned into a case dismissed, 8 months sober, and a whole new perspective on myself and my own career.

When I first started the search for legal representation in 2022 (divorce, parenting time, and custody) , David came highly recommended. Unfortunately, he was not accepting new clients at that time, and of course I now know why. He is the Attorney to hire!! I was so fortunate that when I needed legal representation this time, David was willing to take on my case for a high stakes, long distance (OR to FL) parenting time modification.
From the first interaction that I had with David, he was personable and professional. David was very responsive to communication, and was very organized. David listened to my concerns as a mom, and truly became an advocate for my daughter. I never felt the need to justify my requests or concerns to David because he was so compassionate. David was straight forward and realistic about possible outcomes. He offered me legal advice to any challenging encounter that I had, and I truly believe that had a great impact on the outcome of my case. He empowered me as a client!
Ultimately, this modification went to trial and was presented before a judge. David said "this is go time. I will do the heavy lifting, you be mom" and that was when I knew he was a confident litigator. I was blown away by David's presentation in court; he was professional, prepared, and respected by both opposing council and the judge. Nothing ever felt last minute, no corners were cut, and no detail was overlooked. He became so familiar with my case and exhibits, strategized with the details of the case, and provided me with excellent trial preparation. This led to a very favorable outcome in court and I am SO thankful for that!
David and his legal assistant, Chris Cutshaw were VERY diligent and efficient with my funds. When I received detailed invoices showing the work done on my case, I never had to question anything! Not to mention, every single dollar spent was worth it to be represented by David and his team.

Great experience to work with these guys! I had a 10 year old warrant that I discovered upon moving into the state, I had completely forgotten about it. Extremely communicative. Kerri was super easy to work with and provided me updates constantly. These guys are super professional and great to work with. Their pricing is also extremely good. Phil was amazing to work with as well! Would highly recommend. I asked another firm for a price on the same thing and they would have charged me 5 times the amount! Very fair here and won't rip you off or take advantage of you.

Both Kyle and his assistant have been difficult to reach, at best. I pay for advice which also appears to change depending on his whim of the day. I paid for advice A for what would happen should X come true. X came true, and his advice A changed to B contingent on Y happening. Y happened, and now his advice has changed to C.
I had already expressed my dissatisfaction about him being hard to reach, and last time he asked me for additional information based on responses from the other party. When I sent him the information, I still got no response. I feel like I"m constantly ghosted.
I'm not sure what I'm paying for, but it's clear I'm not getting my moneys worth. I've paid almost $2,000 for getting yanked around. I'd like my money back, but ... lawyers.

The problem with the legal system is no one can afford representation for issues. It is hard to litigate a $450 fee someone is trying to impose upon you when attorneys cost $400/hr just for a consultation. This doesn't help your community.
Edit after update from owner: This is all fine and in good spirit, but before I could even get a question off to see if this would be worth my time and expense, I was cut off and told I would have to set up a $400/hr consult first. For those of us in between jobs with families, this does not qualify as affordable. The state was more helpful. The state.

Christine is a very effective special education lawyer.
Our IEP journey was frustrating, to say the least. Our son’s education was floundering, and we were dealing with a school district that seemed unable to understand what he needed for support.
Our first lawyer finally got the school district to agree to an IEP for our son. This IEP, however, contained no meaningful support for him. Our second lawyer persuaded us to compromise to a revised IEP that had some structure but lacked substance. We will spare you the details, but the school district appeared willing to let our son’s education free fall.
Then, we found Christine. She told us what we needed to do and how we could convince the school district to provide much needed help for our son’s education. The IEP finally spelled out the support structure our son needed. He just graduated from a high school.
The only reason our son has a high school diploma is because of his IEP, which we would not have gotten without Christine.

I was referred to Christine by our family law attorney. I worked with her and her team for over a year and she was fantastic from beginning to end. She's very easy to talk to and explains things in ways that I understand. She returns messages promptly and responds thoroughly to my inquiries. We unfortunately found ourselves having to go in front of a judge due to having received an objection to our filing. I recently contacted Sonia Ickes to represent my daughter, who has been fighting Glioblastoma Multiforma, Stage 4 brain cancer since 2016. My daughter also had a stroke (caused by the past radiation treatments of her brain cancer) in December 2018 which caused her to become legally blind. My daughter needed to be on disability through the Social Security Administration so that she could also obtain Medicare for her treatments. Sonia had represented clients in the past on Social Security disability and did such an amazing job that I wanted to hire her to represent my daughter. I was wise in my choice of Sonia Ickes. Sonia agreed to take the case. She was very thorough, kind, and competent. She was always available to take questions (we had many), and she got the claim into the Social Security Administration quickly. My daughter received her Social Security Disability in just a few weeks. We could not have done this without Sonia. Sonia is a really intelligent, caring, and highly competent attorney. Ms. Ickes did a terrible job during the time I hired her to represent me. She chose her own course; never kept me informed; did not prepare me for hearing; instead of doing her job in the courtroom, she chit chatted with the opposing attorney. When the hearing had a negative outcome, she did not counsel or advise me of next steps. Shoddy paperwork. Be forewarned.

Sean was recently appointed to me by crook county. He not only resolved my case in a timely manner he kept contact with me 24/7. Every time I called he either answered or called me back in short time. Very impressed with his communication skills as well as his kindness on answering all my legal questions as a friend, not as a paid attorney trying to squeeze a dollar out of me. He not only got me the best deal possible but they wanted minimum 14 days in jail and he got me 2!!! Hired Mr. Wilson to represent me in a misdemeanor case. He had 18 months to prepare for trial. He was unprepared and lost the case to a new assistant district attorney. The kicker is he had the truth on his side. I did not commit any crime. He lost the case because he was completely unprepared and only interested in his fees and not justice. Mr. Wilson has been practicing law for over 20 years but only has two old reviews on this site and very few reviews on other sites. That should be a warning to anyone considering hiring him. Word to the wise, look elsewhere for legal help. Consumer beware!

Mr. Wilson has Defended in two cases a criminal case that he got completely dropped. As well as my DUI I was not able to get a diversion because I was involved in a accident but he got me best possible out come no jail time and very little community service.
He is very intelligent and I highly recommend him.
