I met Benjamin back when I was an adolescent aspiring to be an attorney and he was my younger brother’s basketball coach. Ben’s family and mines would travel along side each other as our boys played travel basketball. We all bonded over meals and shared hotels. Ben supported my dreams and even let me tag along on his cases to experience the real deal. Who would know a decade later I’d need him to defend me, I was at the wrong place and wrong time. I ended in jail , and with 5 felony charges for a crime I did not commit. I was told I would get 3 years in prison and i was having a very hard time in jail that I ended up on suicide watch . Ben moved immediately, I was out of jail in 6 days because he vouched for me. He is a honorable man and to have him as an attorney would be in your best interest. He moves efficiently and effortlessly , I give him 5 stars and I HIGHLY recommend!!

Ben is phenomenal. He is someone you want on your side. He handled my divorce and custody case. He was straightforward, attentive and listened to my concerns, responsive when I sent him questions, and helped me develop several strategies to ensure my best interests were being represented. He isn’t afraid to fight on your behalf and do what needs to be done to stand up for his clients. He was able to get me everything I wanted (full custody) and even things I didn’t know I needed and wanted (a situation where I would be financially secure). He is clever, witty, excellent negotiator, clear skills in verbal and written communication, and thoughtfully strategic. Years ago I retained Atty Scanlon for a family law matter which he handled completely professional and without making empty promises. We "won" the case as well as a transfer of jurisdiction to another state which is incredibly difficult to do in case like I had. I am pleased to be writing this review as I am retaining him for a separate matter and have full confidence in his ability to resolve the case to our benefit. Caroline was recommended to me after a bad car accident by an attorney who is a personal friend. She promptly visited us at our home and spent the morning getting details about not only the incident, but about us and our lives. She was kind and friendly. Her questions showed that she was an expert in these cases, and we hired her to represent us. From that point forward, she was unfailingly responsive to every issue that came up, especially medical bills and dealing with a difficult insurance bureaucracy. She handled all of the paperwork and reporting that was related to the accident. She always kept in touch and always responded promptly to us. I can to Tully legal with a very complex and what seemed nearly un winnable case. Deb was appointed to my case last minute (the night before) but managed to get to court completely up to date on all the facts of the case. She was tenacious and refused to be silenced. Deb took my case very seriously and was very invested in the well being of my children as well as myself. Ms. Cohn spent many hours late at night pouring herself into the facts of my case returning emails in a timely manner and talking me through what was happening with my case. She was dedicated, compassionate, focused and found us an amazing path to victory. I called Mr. Crowley to engage his help with a title issue for a real estate transaction. He was incredibly personable. Even after determining that I would not be engaging his services due to the particulars of my issue, he was more than willing to help and offer some helpful context that ultimately led to me resolving the issue. Couple years ago, I made a stupid decision that not only almost cost me my career, but my life itself. While the mental health system as well as the justice system was failing me, Thomas Jackson's work allowed me to be the man I am today. They don’t like to answer their phone. They also say they will call you back and never do their communication it horrible, to save you and anyone else looking into using them just find someone else the stress and hassle is not worth it at all!

made an appt 2 weeks ago for will, power of attorney. Went to the Binghamton office listed and they moved to Vestal. Didn't mention that when I called. When I called to make sure I could still come, she told me that they don't participate with this legal plan. I said you did 2 weeks ago! She said my mistake, no apology.

I retained Ms. Cohen for a bankruptcy. She was pleasant, helpful and knowledgable. Frankly, I'm surprised by some of the comments about Ms. Cohen not returning emails as she always responded to my calls and emails within 24 hours. Then again, they're anonymous. Ms. Cohen helped me through a very difficult time in my life with a minimum of stress and I highly recommend her.

Most frustrating legal situation i have ever dealt with. Filed chapter 7, i did alot of running around getting our lawyer specific information that she requested, for her to only mix up our information with someone else's case. Sent us information on a vehicle that i never had or owned, said she never recieved paperwork that i specifically put in her hands, included a loan in our chapter 7 that i told her i wanted to pay off. She even instructed me to go to the county and ask for specific information that she needed so the loan wouldn't be included in my chapter 7. My wife and I told her I was the only one filing, for our attorney to put my wife's name on the paperwork . Luckily we caught her mistake . I said we because my wife helped me with organizing the paperwork and double checked everything.

I hired Lauren Cohen for a family court matter. I was an emotional wreck at the time. She was there for me 100% and fought hard for me to keep my children. I was one of those clients who called and e-mailed almost daily. Many attorneys would have ignored the calls or been short with me. She returned every call and answered every email in a timely manner and was kind and professional with me at all times.. She gave me great advice, guided me though out the process and was a bulldog at trial.

Thank you for your reviews folks. I’m not allowed to give a zero rating, but that is what he deserves. Everything you all have said is fact. He does NOT return phone calls, emails, and texts. He does NOT call until the last minute and then represents you poorly. My grandchildren are being abused by their drug addicted mother. A ten minute video appearance was held. Neither lawyer knows either client. Mr. Fischer especially, who calls you five minutes before the hearing obviously cannot represent someone properly. Broome County family court is bias from the get go. They know nothing about a case and make a ruling based on lies and never consider the children being hurt. My grandchildren are being kept from their father. A snap decision from a judge who heard five minutes of lies from an abusive drug addict put those children back in her hands. He knows nothing but helped alienate two children from their father! Judges in Broome County have the power to destroy families and it doesn’t matter to them. Lawyers like Kelly Fischer should be disbarred!! Luckily we have time to report him and have him removed. Learn your rights folks. Never except poor representation. If the court won’t remove him when he’s not doing his job. Call for a Marsden trial. Never settle for less! Kelly Fischer is less.
