Mr. Speck assisted me in handling my brother's DUI cases, which involved a couple of legal issues. Thankfully, with his help, we were able to get the last one dismissed, which could have resulted in jail time. Barry handled my civil case in Family court ultimately with a win. This is the first time, hopefully the only time, I've ever been involved in a legal matter against me so personally this was an emotional and scary time for me. I recently hired Andrew to represent me in my alimony case. He was actually recommended by my wife's immigration attorney who used him in his divorce. I had consulted with many attorneys in Ocean and Monmouth county on my matter but not one of them would take the case or thoroughly look over my documentation.
That all changed when I consulted with Andrew.
People go to attorneys often at the worst time of their lives when their worlds are crashing down. At these times people need compassion support and understanding not opportunism. From the first few moments of talking to Andrew I could sense his compassion. As we progressed through our consultation it was quite evident that he had a mastery of family law and most importantly a heart. He painstakingly went over my evidence and indicated that I certainly had enough to address my co-habitation case. Andrew understood that I was apprehensive but assured me we had a good shot at termination of alimony. Throughout the process Andrew exhibited a strategic mind and a solid mastery of the law and issues that where presented. All of these factors are obviously important when hiring an attorney. What struck me most was his human side. I could see that he loved his work and the catalyst for that was his love for helping people when they need it most. Andrew put my mind at ease through each pothole in the process. Don't worry "now we do a little dance". He understood his adversary and each angle of their strategy. Often pointing out details that escaped me. My divorce attorney showed none of these qualities. My only regret in my divorce was that I didn't use Andrew as my attorney. I'm normally not a review person but I want people to know that Andrew is a compassionate, honorable and skilled litigator and tough as nails when he needs to be. He exhibited a true mastery of family law. My case ended favorably and that is a testament to Andrew. as i was married for 15+ yrs i anticipated the divorce process to be much lengthier and more stressful as that is the experience my divorced friends and relatives have had in the past.
that was the opposite at fradkin law due to the small office atmosphere. things are not "dragged out" and there is a commitment to quality other firms sorely lack.
i attribute much of the speed and ease to ed's paralegal Amy. she handled all matters with expertise, swiftness, and i was never made to feel as if I was a bother (there were weeks i had to call her daily). she extended emotional reassurance every step of the way from day 1 to finalization which meant the world.

Tom Mallon
I’ve known Tom Mallon for a long time. I lived two blocks away his office in his early career. I remember asking about a business concern. I don’t exactly recall how things ended with the last interaction, but I will say that every other time Tom represented my case, I always was pleased and leaving in a better Condition.
In 1993 I was involved in a car accident. I was in a wheelchair for 13 years when I was struck on the side of the van I was driving. It was not my fault at all, and I had substantial injuries. I didn’t know what to expect. All I knew was that my life was altered a great deal for the second time.
Luckily, Tom took the reins. I remember when he hired a plane and got flew over the scene of my car accident and took pictures. Who does stuff like that? Tom!
He had people film me for a “ life in the life“. I felt like a movie star.
On top of that, I was able to be a productive and positive participant in life. Thanks for representing me, Tom. Thank you so much.

Mr. Carmano was recommended to me through a friend of a friend. Mr. Carmano helped that client with his multiple DUI charges. He was able to lessen his suspension time by months. I had a DUI case and was facing 6 months of suspension and a ton surcharges and fees. With Mr. Carmano's years of experience and knowledge of the law he was able to file a motion, that I was pulled over for unjustified reasons. I have no record and had never been arrested before prior to this incident. Needless, to say his motion was accepted by the judge and my case was completely DISMISSED!! No DUI no surcharges no tickets no fees. Just a lesson learned! He also has a pleasant and informative secretary that will call you and email you to update you on your court dates. Overall, Mr Carmano is GREAT!! He is updated with the newest laws and is really there to help you. He is also easy to talk too and patient when explaining exactly what is going on in your case. I should have hired Counselor Michael right away. But after firing my previous lawyer, I made a very good choice by using Michael Guntenski Esquire as my divorce lawyer. He is a leader in the profession who is generous with his time.
Mike is a compassionate advocate and an experienced litigator and made sure I got what I wanted in my settlement as my divorce was rough and could have been a lot more difficult had it not been for Mike. Experiencing a divorce is not really something you plan for, especially after having children with someone. It can be an incredibly overwhelming, emotional, and confusing time. It was for me. I needed someone who above all else would put my children first no matter how angry I got at my former husband.
Bottom line, I wanted a lawyer who genuinely cared. Michael Gunteski was exactly who I needed. His unwavering resolve to protecting my children was like nothing I could have hoped for. He guided me through one of the hardest times in my life with patience and dedication to doing what was right for my family and our future. My judgment was at times clouded by anger, fear, and frustration. Michael continuously reassured me that my children and I would be protected and that I would rebuild my life again. His expertise and knowledge of family law was impressive but his open-hearted approach to understanding what I was feeling was most remarkable.

This person was my lawyer years ago in a divorce, and advised me to agree to give a percentage of my pension as part of the settlement. I will likely have 40+ years when I retire, and was married to a horrible person for 10 years. Thanks to Lis aMaglone this horrible person will now get a sizable percentage of my pension. If only the internet was availale back then. I could have researched this myself, and I never would have made such a horrible decision.

Retained Mark as he recommended I file ASAP. Painted me a picture of a relatively painless divorce. No children involved. Five years and $35,000 later I had to fire him for not getting it done. He never lifted a finger in the way of discovery. I lost 50% of a very large portfolio that was pre-marital and should have never been touched. This amounted to more than his fee. I now pay alimony to my ex while our earnings are very similar. She played the cancer card after being served papers which Mark never doubted or investigated. Obscure and avoided direct answers to simple questions. i.e. yes or no question = 45 minutes on the phone. Plays dumb just to have you explain yourself 6 times. Suffered serious health issues during the five year divorce where he inexplicably disappeared for 6 months not returning any emails or phone calls. I learned of his illness after the case was closed. Carpooled with his buddy, the opposing lawyer, to the early settlement panel. You must be bored by now. Especially if you are a male : DO NOT RETAIN MARK SAKER!!!
