Last year I was a freshman in college, and I was assaulted while on campus. My situation resulted in an adverse action where I was facing possible expulsion from school and a loss of my academic scholarship. I had zero clue how to deal with this situation and my parents were in a different state. My parents and I reached out to Ms. Heather Scalzo and from our first contact, Ms. Scalzo was very knowledgeable, helpful, and reassured us that we had a chance to beat the allegations. Ms. Heather was patient with all of our questions and concerns, she was honest and transparent, and properly advised on next steps. Ms. Heather set up calls with us, sometimes after normal work hours and stayed in constant communication with me on the status of my case. On the day of my hearing, she was there with me, and she encouraged me to speak my truth and reassured me she would assist with whatever was needed. At the end of it all, everything worked itself out, thanks to the correspondence and legal assistance of Ms. Heather Scalzo. All the false allegations were dropped, my expulsion was removed, and I was able to go on with my life. My family and I will forever be grateful to Ms. Heather for all her help and legal expertise during a very difficult and scary time for me.

I was arrested for a DUI after driving home from a double shift. I was extremely tired and found myself taking a wrong turn on the way home which led me to drive upon a DUI check point. After being arrested I contacted Mr. Mussetto late at night and not only did he answer but also showed up the next morning for first appearance. Through the entire process he was by my side giving me sound advise and keeping me informed with developments and court dates. We ended up taking my case to court and his preparation with the facts of the case and the not so prepared handling of the situation by the arresting officer and prosecutor allowed him to soundly have the jury deliver a NOT GUILTY verdict. The best decision I ever made was calling John when I faced the most difficult time in my life.

I am so thankful that I had Andrea as my representation. I have been back and forth with custody of my son for years due to false allegations. That’s what I thought about the service rendered by Andrea B Williams. I was in a unique situation and she worked to determine what was needed to resolve my case. She approached every angle to make sure every question or requirement would be addressed. My unmarried daughter died of COVID after delivering a newborn infant by an emergency c-section. The expectation was to be in sedation on the ventilator until are lungs were stronger. She was never able to sign to get the birth certificate and name the father of the child. Neither the father nor myself was able to apply for the birth certificate. Andrea made certain that an emergency hearing was set and we were granted a final hearing at that time so that benefits could begin. She was stern and straightforward and communicated with me to keep me informed. She was also very affordable for the amount of time dedicated to this case. I’m very grateful for her personal concern for my family and would recommend her for any legal matter you may have.

I retained Kevin for a separation case, and am extremely glad that I did. His initial fact gathering session with me was extremely thorough, and enabled him to clearly define my options and possible outcomes. His communication with me throughout the process was unprecedented. He personally kept me up to date on developments and the path he saw as being best. His creativity in developing a final agreement within an extremely short window of time (3 weeks) helped alleviate a long, litigious process and allowed me to get back to my life post marriage. He is extremely knowledgeable of case law, and can "think on the fly" if necessary. In the end, he basically wrote the agreement to which opposing counsel willingly accepted. I have been a client of Chamberlain Law Firm for over seven years! I first came to Margaret in the middle of a custody battle. Prior to meeting with her I tried to handle things on my own and landed myself in a very precarious position. I did not wish to fight with my ex, but simply do what was going to be best for the two young children. My ex had other plans. In hindsight I wish I would have met with her sooner. If you are considering whether you should or shouldn't get an attorney… You need to just come speak with Margaret. She is a wealth of knowledge! I won't bore you with the sob story that was my life. All I can say is Margaret took ALL my mess...and it WAS a mess! She explained very thoroughly what my expectation should be, what I should do, what I should be prepared for.

2016 was a very tough year for my family. My step daughters mother made some significant changes in her life that would have taken an A student out of an excellent school, 400 miles away from everything she knew and loved. Including friends and family, moving her the unknown with a new stepfather that was not out for her well being. We were terrified for what her future was to hold. We were scare, angry, very upset... anxious. Margaret and her staff felt like family, they understood how and why we felt what we felt. And we felt their concerns for our daughter as well. They understood this was our world right now and we just needed the safety of this child to be put first and foremost.
Deanne and Kathy were always sure to understand any concern when we contacted the office whether via email or phone so as to relay to Ms. Chamberlain in the best to their ability for her to get back to us with an answer promptly.
My step daughter had a change in custody to her father - temporary custody end of summer 2016. Father got sole custody mid summer 2017. Both very unusual results.

Mr. James Bannister and his father, Mr. Oscar Bannister are extraordinary people and attorneys! Words can never accurately express their greatness! My children and I went through a horrific ordeal when we were seperated unwarranted due to an assault on myself. Because I had pending charges due to the assault ( the father of my child claimed that I shot him without reason but it was proven that I had reason and the rights to stand my ground after he forced his way into my home) my children were temporarily placed in the custody of a relative! Mr. James Bannister made sure that they were not lost in the system! He and his dad Mr. Oscar Bannister collaborated and represented me in both my family and criminal case! I was ultimately found to have acted in self defense, all charges dropped and my children were back at home where they belonged! Before the charges were dropped the children were placed back in my home due to the Bannisters and their aggressive and thorough drive to have them back home to prevent any further distress! I remember telling Mr. Bannister that my children were afraid that I was going to jail and his exact words to me were " you tell them , NOT ON MY WATCH!" I thank GOD for the Bannisters! They are forever in my heart and my prayers along with their paralegals Cheree and Terri!!!

I've been thoroughly impressed with Zandra. She made me feel like I was her only client when I was with her working on my custody case which was different than lawyers in the past. I trusted her with my case and to be able to bring me the best outcome. I've seen lawyers in the past make clients feel that but they ask for something in court that they can get that result just because they want it. She fought for me but didn't sugar coat and make me believe I could get things that I wouldn't be able to get because the judge is still a person too as well as an opposing side that wants things their way.
