When my partner and I realized we were going to have to hire an attorney for our family court case it was very important to us that we find one with empathy, kindness, and a passion for protecting children from the worst impulses of a high-conflict ex. We searched high and low, took multiple introductory calls with several attorneys, but when we discovered Attorney Karyn Washington we instantly felt at home. Through the entire process, Karyn was there to take our calls, to strategize with us, to comfort us, and to help us understand the often unfair and unjust nature of family court with wisdom and empathy. When my ex hired a ghoul of an attorney who fit every bad lawyer stereotype, Karyn was there to do battle with him, a petite yet powerful woman standing toe-to-toe with one of those men who obviously don’t think women should practice law. We hadn’t hired an attorney after all. We had hired a warrior.
Karyn knows the law, and she knows how to exploit the hubris of aging, know-it-all lawyers.
We absolutely cannot recommend Attorney Washington enough.

I need a refund for services not rendered. I was told constantly to give paperwork and records that I had already given them, the lawyer was rude and unhelpful. I need my money back.

Please don't give these people your money. I started services with them for a lawsuit against me. I was contacted by someone from their office claiming they could help me. They said i could pay them biweekly from my bank account, which i did. At no point did i ever receive any updates about my case. The only time i heard anything it was when they wanted to ask for more money. the court contacted me and I would have to contact amourgis and associates to only have them lie and ask for more money. Odly there was a court date set for the day i chose to end services with them and just found out about the court date and the judgement against me a week later. Do your research please before deciding to work with amougis and associates.

I was assigned to Attorney Vizmeg after initial consultation. At the outset, I found him quite frank and he clarified a lot of expectations at the first meeting. During follow ups, his status letters were especially helpful. One one hand, he is a seasoned attorney with exceptional professional demeanour; on the other, perhaps more importantly, he is a compassionate fellow being. He endowed with qualities such as veracity, spiritedness and, not the least, lightheartedness (if demanded by situation).

I had an issue with a ticket for running a stop sign and was worried it would impact it my insurance and driving record. I reached out to Bartell, Georgalas & Juarez, and they were amazing from start to finish. The team was professional and super responsive, keeping me updated throughout the process. Jonathon and Jose prepared me before court with what to expect (which was much appreciated). They worked hard to get the violation resolved with a "no point" outcome, which was a huge relief!
