Gail Kenowitz is extraordinary! I divorced in 1991 and, at that time, I was too stressed to even think about the future. I remember telling her at that time that I did not care about his pension and wanted nothing from him. I remember her standing in her office with her hand on her hip saying
“I will not allow you to do this - you may need it someday”. Move forward to 2018. When it was time for my ex husband to retire he had to give me part of his pension. Although I am in a better place today than all those years ago I decided to take it so my children could benefit from it. I am very grateful to Gail for having the vision so many years ago!

I was in heavy litigation trouble i was dealing with a family court battle like not many people could ever go threw my sons rights were in jeopardy being ripped away from him forever.
There was one attorney with Guts and gifted insight and skills that i never seen before in a court room, Robert took my case that was a complete mess and turned it totally around , he plowed threw the false allegations he is truly legendary attorney, I can only hope a loving parent reads this review if they want the best protection for there kids

I had some very bad lawyers represent me in my prolonged divorce case. Needless to say I carried much disdain in my heart for divorce lawyers. The opposing lawyer was a lawyer straight from hell. Two family members assisted me in getting Robert Hiltzik on board. Robert was able to move the case to completion and handled a very difficult case. This is a long over do review for Carey Kessler. Carey went above and beyond what I think any lawyer would have done for me. When I went to court with Carey I always felt he had my best interest, not what I had in my pocket, and I also felt he looked after me as if I was a family member. Im not even sure if he works criminal cases any more, non the less I've witnessed the time and dedication he puts into his work. A very tell you like it is guy, no lies or games. I was tried for my 3rd drinking and driving. All I can say is I didn't go to jail. I owe Carey more than a review, he has been more than kind with my billing arangements. I cant say enough about this guy, I highly recommend him.

The attorneys here are so kind and knowledgeable. I called in a bit of a panic for a friend and they called be back even though it was on a SATURDAY! My case was not in NY, but wanted to ask questions regarding a hypothetical situation where my divorce was moved to NY, since my ex has moved there. I called just to set-up a consultation, but Mr. Pollack ended up just helping me right there and then. Josh is extremely knowledgeable, patient and actually cares about his clients. He picked up my case after a disastrous run with another attorney that lead to what could quite possible be considered the worst custodial settlement of all time. He had to restructure my child support case as the previous attorney had knowingly submitted fraudulent numbers on my behalf which had lead to what could have potentially turned into a criminal offense. Even with the catastrophic mishandling of the child support, he found a way to create a highly beneficial situation for myself and my current wife that was fair and equitable for my children. He is a nasty person and should honestly not work on family issues. He is unprofessional, unresponsive and not interested in giving a professional advice but rather in harming one party as much as he can- that’s his strategy. Every good lawyer would advise his client on all fronts, would inform him on pro and cons but Ira Bierman is a nasty person. He’s not interested in truly helping, not to mention that he is absolutely unresponsive. Knowledge is great, but so is being professional and decent person. Something he hasn’t acquired in all these years he has been practicing law.

The worst lawyer I could have ever hired for my divorce appeal. I think The information I gave him for my defense in my divorce case, I believe he then gave to my ex-husband’s attorney and they used the information against me.. It got so bad that I asked him if he was “on my side” he said it’s best they have the information, even after I asked him to wait and not tell them., and then he also gave personal information I shared with him which had nothing to do with the appeal, he even told them that! This has to be illegal because of lawyer- client confidentiality. I’m not sure though. I know I didn’t do well in the appeal at all. I believe it is due to this poor representation; but That’s not what gets to me the most, what gets to me the most is that I felt he was arrogant, self centered, and narcissistic. That’s my thought. I think he must have thought he was going to rub elbows with the big law firms in Manhattan, NY county because that’s where my ex hired his attorney. Seems like to me while he was TRYING to play me they were playing him. Allegedly They left him right in Jherico after they used him. I wouldn’t recommend this lawyer to anyone!!!
