I came to Mary Beth with a high conflict, child custody case. After initially, dealing with another lawfirm to represent me, who was incompetent and didn’t take the time to fully read the abundant documentation that I had, it was truly a blessing that I was referred to Mary Beth and the Goodnight Law Firm. I really love this lawyer. She’s flat out amazing. I was/am a dad that immediately felt like I’d be chugging uphill to gain custody of my child once divorce loomed. Fiza took the time to hear me, to look through the evidence I presented, and she was there EVERY step of the way. She was constantly a text or an email away. Divorce lawyers wear many hats, legal rep, grief Counsler, therapist, all because divorce is possibly one of the worst experiences you can go through besides death. I went through all that and more. Fiza not only gave me superior legal representation but she gave me compassion, patience and emotional support that I don’t believe many lawyers are capable of. There were times I was in a panic with the drama of my divorce and I would just be an emotional hot mess. Fiza helped me through all of it. She went above and beyond to help me not only legally but as a human. She was there for me throughout it all, through my anxiety driven 2am texts, to my emotional breakdowns, through everything. Divorce is not easy but mine was the worst you can have. Fiza got me the settlement I needed, fought for me in court and got me through even though she had many other clients and cases, she was always there for me. I can’t recommend her enough.

I had the pleasure of hiring R. Melissa Masoom from Hunt Law Firm as my divorce attorney and overall had a pleasant experience. Melissa was always thorough and explained the process from beginning to end so that I knew exactly what to expect. When my case took a turn (became contested) Melissa handled everything very professionally and reassured me that everything would work out, which it did. Attorney McClain helped me get custody of my two small kids (3 & 5). Their Mom was making bad decisions and I felt my kids were being negatively affected. Their Mom told me I wouldn’t win custody. But Ms. McClain fought hard for me and my kids. The Judge gave me custody and ordered Mom to do somethings to get her life together. Now, I rest a lot easier knowing my babies are safe. Travers and Travers literally brought our family together. We had a rather unique experience, but Travers & Travers helped us through it every step of the way. We live in South Dakota and needed a referral for a lawyer in Texas. My sister is an attorney and asked around and everyone we talked to suggested Travers and Travers. So we took a leap of faith and it paid off for us big time. My initial phone call was with Sherrie and she immediately made me feel at ease. Travers & Travers took our case head on and did not stop until we brought our daughter home. They were very professional, but were also very human and friendly- that was very important to me. Mack went with us to court and mediation and he was able to keep us calm while waiting in between everything. He was very well spoken and had good charisma in the court room. Emma was referred to me when I was filing for divorce. What I noticed immediately was that she was honest and to the point but delicate at the same time. She was very aware that this was a situation that called for compassion but I knew that she was going to fight for my Son and I. She kept me informed and if and when I needed her she was there. She did a great job at making the divorce as "easy" for me as possible. We went in front of the judge within six months of filing and my divorce was granted. She was there every step of the way making sure I was okay.

My wife and I hired Mrs. Haw to make out our wills. Her rates were clearly published on her website and everything was very straightforward. She had us complete a comprehensive information form covering what we wanted done in the event of our demise, and then she constructed all of the documents. We then met with her again to go over all of the documents and she explained, in plain English, what everything was, what it said, and what it meant. This also included durable powers of attorney and medical directives in the event of our incapacitation as well. She was very thorough and professional in our dealings.

I can’t say enough about Kelly Rizzo! She has a burning passion for family law and it shows when you talk to her. She is straightforward and very knowledgeable in her area of expertise. EVERYTHING that she predicted in my case came true. Her experience has given her the ability to strategically format a game plan that works for you and your family.
She does a great job of explaining everything to you and she is super transparent. You will know what she is thinking at all times, she will ask for your feedback and she will not make a move without getting your authorization first. All your documents, emails, and invoices are accessible for your convenience online through the Mycase portal.
This lady is a true powerhouse and has the support of the entire Hunts Law Firm if she should ever need some backup. I would not want to be the petitioner/respondent sitting across from Kelly Rizzo!
To sum it up you won't find a more morally ethical, transparent attorney that will gain 100% of your trust. An attorney that not only has yours but also your families best interest engrained in her every thought pertaining to your case.

While no one wants to have to hire a family law attorney unfortunately sometimes it is necessary. If you find yourself in the position of needing a family law attorney I HIGHLY recommend Kelly Rizzo. I hired her back in December of 2016 for a custody dispute with my ex husband. She was absolutely amazing. Kelly was on top of everything at every turn. She always clearly explained my options to me before we proceeded with anything. The billing was fair and always very well documented. If I had any sort of question I could ask her through the online portal or call and she always made sure to answer my questions very efficiently. When I had a question on a Friday night I was absolutely shocked and thrilled that she took the time to answer me that same night. I really had planned to be waiting until Monday morning for a response. I truly cannot say enough good things about Kelly Rizzo and the Hunt Law firm. Custody disputes can be very mentally and emotionally draining. Kelly made sure to make the process as easy to understand and navigate as humanly possible.

Kelly Rizzo wasn't the first lawyer I contacted but she was my first consult which ultimately led to my hiring her. Our time together was always well spent and coordinated with every detail taken into account to insure the best possible outcome in my divorce. She was tactful and strategic in her approach to my case, being kind enough to listen to my ideas while being honest and direct about how to resolve the issues at hand. Although things didn't go 100% in my favor I am assured that Kelly lead me down the path of least resistance with the greatest return on investment. Having no prior experience dealing with divorce lawyers or legal battles overall the past 6 months were made less turbulent by Kelly. Her balance of professionalism and amicability with me truly made the difference and inspired confidence and hope in her. She provided me with a binder and online tools to make sure that I was always able to communicate and upload necessary documents for my case. She guided me step by step through this arduous process facilitating even the most strenuous tasks including mediation. By the end of it all it was almost painful to relinquish Ms. Rizzo and her expertise, as if saying goodbye to a caring friend. I was refrred to Ms. Bachman by my sister who used to work with her. I wasn't sure if I wanted to proceed with my divorce now but I wanted answers to many questions so that I could make an informed decision. She treated my case as if it was her own, with every detail, while caring for me and my family, and I mean actually caring, she treated all of us as actual human beings, unlike other attorneys or even the judge. She will make every effort to win your case, and she will always advice you with your well being in mind. Not your average attorney. She has great attention to detail, just about when we thought we were gonna lose our case, she went back and found a small but very important detail that was missed by my previous 2 attorneys, it was even missed by the other side, it was great!!
I recommend her to anyone I meet.
Oh, and she speaks fluent Spanish, I think she speaks also Russian and other languages, she is very smart. She spoke to my parents in Spanish, and that made the whole difference to them, and to me. Well, that's how she also found very important information.
Anyways, call her, it will be worth it, her advice is worth it. You will not regret it.
