There's no words to Express how thankful I am for what he did for me and my husband. It's been over 8 months since my husband was released from ice custody. My then fiance was taken by ice custody on April of 2018 he had DUI's. We had a lawyer who was recommended to us who which didn't put any effort to get him out. That lawyer went for a straight voluntary departure. We weren't happy with that so we then met Nestor Diaz who I felt put his heart to our case. He made us feel like the only case he had to work on was ours. Even though we had a lot of obstacles Nestor always showed a positive attitude. It took a year of fighting but at the end he was able to get my husband released from ICE custody. If you are thinking about hiring Nestor, think no more!! You will get a good difference by hiring him ! Thank you Nestor you've done a lot for my husband and I!!

I am glad we found Maria Mateo to help us through the process of my Resident visa application and my husbands Citizenship visa application. We both had a hard case that needs a professional help. Maria and her team were very meticulous with the process of our application and I think that was the key that helped me get my green card application approved with no interviews needed. My husbands citizenship process is a long process but with all the patience, trust and professional help from Maria everything went as what she anticipated. We had bad experiences with other immigration lawyers and thank God she is not like them. Maria is very knowledgeable and they made sure all the things that were needed were all in our submitted packet. Maria and her staff were very polite and professional. There is always a live person to answer our calls. I received my resident card last year and three days from now I will be traveling outside of the country for the first time with my kids to visit their grand parents. I live in Massachusetts and needed to hire a New York attorney to help resolve a family issue regarding an adult child who lives in Queens. I was very fortunate in that the law firm, chosen online, connected us to Mike Gancy. He handled this one day Family Court issue professionally, quickly, culminating in the complaint issued against me being withdrawn completely. I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the representation provided by Attorney Emily Clarke in a custody matter.
Throughout the course of my case, I have encountered several instances of unprofessional behavior on the part of Ms. Clarke. Firstly, Ms. Clarke repeatedly contacted a relative without clearly stating her identity or the purpose of her call, causing confusion and discomfort for my family. This lack of professionalism is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the reputation of your firm
Furthermore, during our interactions, Ms. Clarke consistently referred to the opposing party as a "nice guy," which I found to be both unprofessional and irrelevant to the matter at hand. Such subjective remarks are not conducive to effective legal representation and may have undermined my case. Her overall contribution to the matter was minimal at best.
In light of these issues, I am deeply dissatisfied with the representation provided by Attorney Emily Clarke.

Not because he will not do anything to defend your case, the only noted effort is in calculating the minutes to bill you. Because he will drop the ball, not show up to represent you and repond to your calls and emails days or probably weeks after you reach out to him.
Because he will screw you with the judge and opposing counsel if it serves his business relationships with them more than a win matters.
He's a hack that charges you for screwing you over.

Before hiring Mr. Katz, I reviewed his online referrals and recommendations. I saw some negative, and at firs I was weary, but then he was highly recommended by not one by two Supreme Court judges in NYC. I thought if judges thought he was worthy of their recommendations. I called. From that initial call to the end of my case, his office and staff (yes, including his wife) were caring, superb and kept me in the loop. During my case, I lost my job. I worked with his wife on payments, and they were so understanding and helped me out on suspending payments until I got a job. His office staff is knowledgeable and friendly and QUICK. No negative review from me, a positive real review. Negative reviews be ignored. I did and I could not be happier or more satisfied.

He asked for a retainer of $3000 upfront and did nothing except give me aggravation during such an upsetting time in someone's life. I constantly called him for about 8 months to just follow up if he had purchased an index number. He always kept blaming the process servers or others except himself. Once threatened to contact the New York County Law Associates, did he finally obtain an index number and have paperwork served on my ex. What a sloppy summons and complaint...corrections were done in pen and he obtained the index number and served paperwork this way. I decided to go with another attorney which did a great job but never got my money back from Gurskey, even after several phone calls and faxes. My plan was to sue him for my money back as he even promised my attorney in writing that he would reimburse whatever he did not use. I unfortunately never took any action and I never got any money back, which is something I regret.

This guy asked me $2500 to finalized my divorce and he didnt do anything. I have been 2 years and he still giving me the running around. I even told him I was going to report him to The Bar Assc and he didnt care. I called this guy weekly and nothing. Mr Gursky if you are reading this review you know who am you stole from me you promised me a job that you didnt do , I want my money back so I can finish this business. Hopefully some one look at this review and investigate you to find how many people you have done the same thing.
