When I was in an accident in May of 22, I saw right away that the insurance company of the at fault member was not going to be easy to work with. I had never hired a lawyer before and had no idea where to start. Horn law had great reviews on here, which led me to their office. They took great care of me throughout my recovery process and kept on top of everything until my settlement was complete 9 months later. Nina is who I dealt with the most, she was great at walking me through every step of the process. Highly recommend!

I hired David Breon to help me with a child support modification. He repeatedly would not do what asked without explanation. He would go missing for weeks and not communicate at all. We were looking for someone to do a simple Willa d ended up at Lund Law offices. After an initial conversation and discussions Zach showed us the benefits of a family trust. Once we told him to move forward he prepared all the paperwork including deed transfers within a week. Zach was extremely easy to work with, not pushy or aggressive always responded immediately. Mr. Pietz is a wonderful, patient, caring, and a thorough lawyer.
He has a very calm demeanor which made me calm. Talks in a manor that is comfortable (not a fast talker), and does not cut you off when you are talking. Very tentative to your needs and concerns. He will confirm with you if you understand and if you have any questions. Very detailed in explaining the process in a way that you will understand. Mr. Pietz will call you and give you updates I never had to call him. My family and I really appreciate all the hard work he has done. We will refer him to family, friends and even strangers.

Retained an attorney from this firm who quit three weeks into the case, right when my daughter’s case was getting messy and complicated. I had paid the firm $2500 in advance for services. Asked who would be handling the case and they suggested Chandler Frick….. called her four times and she was never “in” the office. When I stated my dissatisfaction to Colleen the terminated attorney Chandler requested to be removed from the case and began getting threatening!!! I refused to sign her dismissal until I received a copy of the billing to this point in the case. She/they refused until we we retained Sydney Garcia who was able to get me a refund of $1,146.85.
Worst Law Firm I have ever dealt with!!!!!!!

Chase traveled nearly 200 miles round trip to be co-counsel to the attorney that I hired at no additional charge. He was brilliant in using collateral estoppel in my family law case when my son's abusive father tried to use the court to gain access to private medical information that had previously been litigated. Needless to say, the opposing party eventually dropped their motion to modify when they realized they couldn't win. In all, I am grateful to Chase and Michelle Higinbotham for their kindness, generosity, and fierce advocacy in protecting my son.

Kristen Buzzelli did a fantastic job representing me through a very difficult, emotional divorce with two children involved. It went to trial due to mediation being unsuccessful (only 5% of divorces go to trial). I originally selected Kristen based on her past social work and current family law experience. I cannot express how disappointed and frustrated I am with this attorney. From the very beginning, it was clear that they had little to no interest in my case. Communication was almost nonexistent, and I had to repeatedly chase them for updates, only to get vague responses or no response at all. At one point, I had to explain the details of my case over and over because they seemed to forget key facts every time we spoke. Not only was there a complete lack of professionalism, but the attorney also seemed unprepared in court and failed to present a coherent argument. I paid a significant amount of money for services that were ultimately useless. To top it off, they were extremely condescending and dismissive whenever I expressed concerns. It felt like I was just another number to them. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere if you want someone who genuinely cares about your case. This attorney is completely incompetent and untrustworthy!

We had an extremely disappointing experience with James Pietz through MetLife legal plan. During a phone consultation regarding a significant vehicle issue, he was dismissive and very rude. He cut off my husband mid-sentence, claiming he didn’t need all that details, and abruptly ask about irrelevant information. When he shared the amount of the damage $20,000 as that is what he was mostly interest in the $$$$, he said for that amount of money and he abruptly stopped talking and went silent(mute) and despite multiple attempt to continue the conversation he refuse to answer. After waiting for 3 minutes my husband hung up and call back. His assistance answered and said he was in court which was false After I pointed out that I had just spoken to him, she put me on hold, then hung up without a word. I would never recommend this office due to their unprofessionalism.

After I hired Kirby it was one excuse after another. 2.5 years for a simple modification and he couldn’t handle that. He canceled meetings after I took day off work and drove 200 miles because his tummy hurt, very hard to reach, little to no follow up and zero gumption. All he did was take my money. Had to fire him because he was completely incompetent.

Shannon was the GAL on my divorce case. She is extremely biased towards men and treated me as such during my divorce. I was constantly receiving antagonistic e-mails from her. At a meeting in her office she told me “Katherine doesn’t have a backbone, so I have to be one for her”. This continued throughout the entire divorce. There were dual standards put in place for me that my ex-wife was not required to follow. One example is I was told I couldn’t take my daughter’s cell phone for discipline. She then allowed my ex-wife to punish our son by taking his phone away from him so we couldn’t communicate. I brought this up with no resolution. A major concern was she allowed my ex-wife to accuse me of being intoxicated, mind you when I didn’t have the children. She was not objective and did not ask me a single question before refusing to allow the children to come over for our shared 50/50 visitation. I was never given an explanation as to why and fully disproved the lie against me using scientific evidence, a blood test. Even after Shannon had the results she refused to allow the kids to come over or change her decision. This decision showed her bias, made her look like unhinged in her decision making and further showed she is an incompetent lawyer. An active bar complaint is being filed and a suspension of her GAL responsibilities is being sought. She does not make decisions keeping in mind the best interest of the children. In fact, I was told this is indicative of her character because when she was in law school she had an affair with her husband Robert, causing him to get divorced. She is a biased lawyer who’s decision making is clouded. 10/10 I would never allow Shannon to be the GAL on your case.

In fact the only time I heard from her is when she told me that she would never give me my kids or when she billed me. Extremely unprofessional, unwilling to help with anything and made it very well known she didn’t care to help one bit.. almost 10,000 dollars later I had to drop my case because she was so hateful and unprofessional. My lawyer even made comments to me about how he’d never seen someone so hateful never knowing me. I definitely would Bot recommend… unless you want to deal with attitude, non compliance, non communication, and spend thousands of dollars doing it. Terrible..

Paid a premium for very poor performance on their behalf. Couldn’t reach anyone numerous times in the course of their “representation”. They sent an alternate lawyer to a court appearance with no notice to me. When the final court date came, I was left in the courtroom by myself with no representation until I called the office and got the run around for 3 hours until an attorney showed up. Wouldn’t wish their incompetence on my worst enemies.

Unfortunately, I retained Mr. Lunceford who not only did NOTHING for me, but he made sure he and his, equally rotten, paralegal took advantage of billing me as much as they could for work I already did! THEN threatened to SUE me when I asked for the bill I was NEVER given or explained before the day I requested to look at it. For reference, I am a former legal assistant. This firm should be shut down and he should be suspended or should face disbarment. The ONLY reason I didn’t file a complaint was because my divorce was finalized around Christmas, I had two young children, and after I wrote him a warning letter that I would file a complaint with the Disciplinary Administration he and his office backed off.
