I have been nothing but pleased with Joe and his entire staff. My first call into this office, Joe took my call directly and I could immediatly tell he was an attorney sincerely vested in his clients and thier cases. He has a level of humanity and integrity that is frankly hard to find in the field. He agreed to take on, what I was repeatedly told by nearly everyone, was an "unwinnable" case agianst The Department of Human Sevices over a TRAILS finding.
Joe and his staff were so incredibly responsive, efficient and thorough in their assistance and handling of my case. Having them on my side to handle all the legalize, I knew that I was in the best of legal hands possible in a part of the law way over most people's heads. For the first time in years, I could focus just on LIVING.
Our TRAILS appeal, that won an Administrative Law Judges ruling in our favor back in 2018, was overturned CDHS themeslves (because they can do that!) and went all the way to th Colorado Court of Appeals where it was unaimously reversed again by all three judges, back to the ALJ initial decision. Our case was also a precident setting, published opinion! I could not have done it without Joe's hard working team! Thank you Joe!!

Words cannot describe the care, patience, understanding and quality of work performed by Joe and his team. He was able to deal with a very difficult family dynamic and he kept his sense of humor and never lost patience. He really knows how to handle people and made what was a very emotionally difficult situation just a little better by his thoughtful and caring manner. Kris is not only an incredibly personable, compassionate person, she is a well experienced, knowledgeable and fair attorney. From the moment we made our first call to Kris, she was prompt in her response and Kris’ caring nature heard our incident that occurred in our family that brought us to a temporary restriction in parenting time. Kris has a very no-nonsense approach to advocating for parenting rights and what is in the best interest of the children involved. In much less time than we expected, more than a few court dates and stipulations, we were relieved on the other side in having the children back 50/50.
Additionally, we are a blended family, so having an advocate that is aware of our family dynamic and situation she has been amazing at representing our family at all milestones in the court process. When dealing with our children being fed gluten on a celiac disease restricted diet, Kris advised and represented us in contempt orders for the other parent involved and re evaluating child support as needed. She is an all around amazing attorney that has really brought our family true legal representation that is second to none.

He is very informative about law and case perception. He has done nothing short of a top notch job for me. Even when i get frustrated and blow up he still remains calm and collective. He looks for the long game in custody and isn't one of those that swing for the fence the first try. He understands there are processes and in child custody it takes time. He has proved to me over and over again why he does what he does even though i initially disagree, and somehow he is 99.9% of the time right. I hired Susan Halloran to represent me concerning a difficult divorce case, and was more than pleased with the results, and Susan made sure that I was treated fairly. Then when I was accused of criminal mischief by my wife, during my divorce process, Susan handled that issue as well. She kept me from needing 2 attorneys. And when I was arrested as a result, Susan dropped what she was doing and immediately, got me out of jail. If that wasn’t enough, she also represented me on a separate case where crossing timelines/court dates of both cases could have caused me to violate a probationary period.
This whole event was going on in conjunction with my having a life changing medical issues. Susan made me focus on the help she needed from me. Susan had this huge jigsaw puzzle to put together, along the way, her patient mentorship of me, and her attention to detail made all the difference. I had 2 major surgeries during that timeframe. And Susan was patient kind and was a calming influence. She multitasked in a way which resulted in my vindication within several court systems, simultaneously.
Susan a no-nonsense, exceedingly hard, working attorney. She proved to me what a huge Heart she has. She stuck with me, and never quit.
My opinion is that if you hire an attorney because they are a go getter, hard worker, and you are counting on that person to resolve your problem.
Then you must also expect that they will need you to contribute to your defense. And if that process fails, so can your case.
Contributing to my case made all the difference. One cannot just pay an attorney and expect them to do it all on their own. Susan should be charging much more than she does, however she cares about her clients, and I can tell you that she did much more work than she charged me for. And also let me do some footwork, that saved her time and lessened my fees. I felt cared about…
My retainer was spent quickly, because it was used to fulfill court requirements in setting up my case. I imagine that’s why they refer to it as a retainer. I got expert help, but wasn’t charged as such. The way Susan streamlined all these issues within several court cases, simultaneously, saved me thousands of dollars. And she kept an innocent man out of jail, and put his life back into the most manageable financial condition possible.
That being said, I can tell you from my perspective that I was impressed by Susan’s level of organization, professionalism, as well as her attention to detail. (I am Retired IT/IBM). Susan is a fair honest and loyal Attorney with a Huge Heart. I can say that I trust her, and if she specializes in a service that I require in the future, I will hire her immediately.
This whole series of events spanned 2+ years. 2 years of hell, that Susan got me through and somehow made it all a bit more bearable.

Ms Halloran represented our family during a difficult time when options were serious and confusing. Ms Halloran's expertise brought us the best possible results. Working with her was reassuring, as it was evident our case was as important to her as it was to us. I know she spent more time on our case than she listed. She was easy to contact, very direct, and genuinely cared- but not the kind of attorney to pat your hand and let you go on and on about your “feelings”.....while the bill gets bigger, and she doesn’t waste time just “saying” what you want to hear but gets straight to the important business and keeps things on track- redirecting conversations to what is necessary to resolve the case. She identified inaccurate information in court documents and got them corrected. At times, she was more determined than we were, to get things resolved in our favor. She was tough... towards me when it was needed, and tougher on the opposing party, which is more important than I realized at the time. I will definitely call her again if a need arises and highly recommend her! Her work is more than worthy of her very fair fees.

A contractor placed a lien on my property. I hired an attorney that did me wrong. Spoke with several attorneys who wouldn't handle because it was too small of case. Called Craig and he was happy to help. Because of a biased judge making a biased ruling against me, we had no choice but to go all the way to the state appeals court. We won the appeal (which also stated the lower court was wrong in their decision) due to Craig's great arguments contained in the motions of my defense. After the win from the appeals court, we were able to eventually settle the case rather than going to trial. Though it was a very long process, due to no fault of Craig's, I ultimately recovered some of the money I was due. Wouldn't have happened without Craig. If you have a civil situation, would recommend you call Craig!

Just trying to find a dental malpractice lawyer in the Denver area was not easy. I got Very lucky when I reached out to Bucks office. They contacted me quickly and spent time getting to know me and my case. It wasn't all about how much money my case was worth, as other firms can be. They investigated my claims and realized pretty quickly that I had a malpractice suit. Buck and Alex were great at explaining the process and sharing the things coming to light in my records. I had relocated to a different state and they worked with my current dentists diligently to get the real story. The process can make you a little crazy (at least it did me 😁), but they worked with me to make some difficult decisions. In the end we settled, but I was able to get the money to help restore my dental health and I can't thank them enough. If you need dental malpractice help, Buck should be your choice. Don't sit in pain. If someone should pay for poor dental care, make them. Call Buck.

PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!! This attorney was/is unable to live up to their end of agreements and has no sense of want or urgency to respond to clients. I was in an unfinished consult and had left numerous messages through both phone AND email. I'd waited almost 2 MONTHS before I realized that she had forgotten about my case and situation. When confronting her on what had (technically hadn't) happened with not responding to me in my requests on how to proceed with getting her this important information, she'd had no idea that I'd even called and left email messages. She had to review her phone log from the previous month and found her "notes" that I'd called and left a message on how to proceed. She'd also had to review her email messages to see that I had INDEED reached out to her again. Based on this, she'd never had the intent of calling me back and had totally forgotten about me as a client and a person. I understand if you have things you may need to take care of, but communication with a client should be a number one priority for any lawyer. She agreed that she was unable to live up to her end of our agreement. She'd offered, now that I'd called and asked for my original papers back, to finish helping me almost 2 MONTHS AFTER our original meeting. I told her after not hearing back from her and seeing how she had to review her notes to even see that I'd called and left a message, I was forced to handle my situation on my own. She was definitely non-caring in her final responses to what had happened and also my entire situation. When I'd asked for a refund, she'd said she believed I was not entitled to one. I'd presented my facts on her non ability to even respond to my many requests for progression on my matter. I was given the option to partially be refunded IF I'D SIGNED A NON DISPARAGEMENT AGREEMENT. I choose not to sign this agreement that would keep me from expressing my feelings and opinions on what has transpired. She'd said , in a response to me not wanting to sign this, she would NOT refund me anything and felt she was being bullied. Being bullied and not wanting a true review of your services are two separate things. I can accept the fact that she had kept my money. I can NOT accept the fact that she thinks she handled this entire situation correctly.
I chose to speak my feelings and opinions on her, the firm she represents and her ability to do what us, as clients, should expect. PLEASE DO NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!! SAVE YOUR MONEY AND LOOK ELSEWHERE! YOU'LL BE HAPPY YOU DID.

This firm is only interested in your up front retainer. They also have a client relations "person" and I use that term lightly who gives psychiatric counseling and she has no credentials. Her name is Dianne Sawkins and she's criminal who should be in prison. File a complaint to the CO Regulatory Board about this law office. They should be closed down and disbarred.
