After trying to take care of my father's estate and will when he passed on, I discovered that both of my parents' wills were not done correctly the first time and outdated. I gave my mother's will to Mr. Bowen and he wrote a new one that was very detailed and fixed the error in her will that had existed in my father's will that created so many problems. I was so pleased with his work that I asked him to write my husband's and my will. He made the process less intimidating and worked with me over the phone and e-mail so that I did not have to take time off work to go into his office while discussing the details. He wrote all three wills in a very short amount of time. I would recommend him with no hesitations.

I hired Mr. Thames for a serious traffic charge (DUI). While handling this case another unfortunate event lead to another traffic charge (Driving without a valid license). Both charges could have effected my employment greatly. Mr. Thames helped me immensely on a professional and personal level. He made sure everything dealing with the court was handled although I was out of state and lead me through the court process so I would understand everything that was going on. In the end one charge was reduced drastically to a small fine, the other charge was dropped and my arrest records were restricted. I have no doubt this situation could've been devastating without Mr. Thames help. Thank you very much Mr. Thames. I recommend anyone reading this to speak with Mr. Thames regarding your situation.

I've dealt with 3 family law attorneys in the past and ALL THREE FAILED ME from the start but not Rhonda. I wish I had found her 3 years ago. I trust Rhonda 100% in all the advice she gives me and with my defense. I feel very confident in her every move with my child custody case. I've had bad gut feelings in the past regarding trusting an attorney but not with her. Whenever she needs something from me, she'll email me or call and vice versa. She's very knowledgeable and gathers information fast. She doesn't have a problem with working together with other attorneys. The more minds thinking, the better. She has not sugarcoated anything and has told me everything straight up. She has shown me that she is not afraid to fight. Right now we are dealing with one pain in the rear and so far she has been extremely professional and tough! I highly recommend Rhonda if you are looking for a family law attorney. She's awesome!

Even took the time to research while we waited.....didn't charge us a penny and said we could do questions via email without coming into her office (with a credit card to pay for services in the future). I had a profoundly disappointing experience with Sell & Melton. From the outset, the firm's communication was severely lacking, with calls and emails often going unanswered for days. When responses did come, they were often terse and uninformative, leaving me feeling neglected and uninformed about the status of my case. The firm failed to provide the guidance and support I expected, and their apparent lack of interest in my concerns was both frustrating and disheartening.
Moreover, the legal advice and representation I received were subpar. Critical deadlines were missed, and important details were overlooked, which adversely affected the outcome of my case. Despite their high fees, the quality of service was significantly below expectations. This experience not only cost me financially but also caused considerable emotional distress. I would strongly advise against using Sell & Melton for any legal needs, as their lack of professionalism and diligence was evident throughout my dealings with them.

Franklin T Gaddy has by far been the most professional lawyer we have dealt with. He communicates well and informs us of every new step taken within our child custody case.

Attorney Sara Roberts and her assistant, Leah are two of the best professional people I have ever met. They both kept me informed at all times of any new developments in my case. If ever I had a question, it was answered in a very timely manner. I know firsthand how hectic it can be for an attorney or paralegal to return phone calls, so patience is a virtue in all legal cases. Because of Sarah and Leah, I now have full custody of my grandson. There are no words to express how much I appreciate each of them.

I thought the attorney works for the client. I requested that she fax a requested document on my behalf to a third party. At first, she acted as though she would by asking me to send her the document. After a while, I never heard back from her. I had to reach out to her to follow up on the document. She told me that she didn't think it was in my best interest to send the document to the third party. I insisted. She stated that she was not going to do it and is going to leave it up to me to send it. The best attorney ever....NOT!

I don’t know how anyone could not be pleased with this attorney. She explained everything to me and let me know what to expect. She returned my calls, emailed me, and even allowed me to text her on her personal cell phone when I had questions. My case was handled well and everything she told me she would file was filed. On the surface, Ms. Brinson appears to be professional. However, once she received our retainer, the service went down from there. She was often unreachable. She refused to return calls, she did not honor her commitments and her knowledge of the law seemed questionable. Our case dragged on for 2 additional months simply because she was not aware of the appropriate actions to take to get our case before the judge. I had to contact the Judge's office myself and then instruct Ms. Brinson as to how she should proceed. During our hearing, the judge actually offered her instruction regarding the quality of work submitted to him. She presents herself as a professional and experienced attorney, but once you get to meet her in person, you will see that it's just for appearances. She was an incredible disappointment and unprofessional. Use this attorney at your own risk. She is probably one of the cheaper attorneys in Macon, but just remember that you get what you pay for. We paid in so many other ways because we chose to use her services.

So, we are unsure if the same person was answering our questions or if there're are several untrained people answering the phone providing the public with misinformation.

I had Mrs. Geeslin as a public defender. I wish I never trusted her. Because of her I signed off on documents I had no business and it cost me my children. If you're a person of color, PLEASE do not choose her. She refused to defend my family because we didn't look like what we claimed! Now my children are being abused and sexually assaulted in foster care thanks to her.
