After trying to take care of my father's estate and will when he passed on, I discovered that both of my parents' wills were not done correctly the first time and outdated. I gave my mother's will to Mr. Bowen and he wrote a new one that was very detailed and fixed the error in her will that had existed in my father's will that created so many problems. I was so pleased with his work that I asked him to write my husband's and my will. He made the process less intimidating and worked with me over the phone and e-mail so that I did not have to take time off work to go into his office while discussing the details. He wrote all three wills in a very short amount of time. I would recommend him with no hesitations.

I call him Opie because he allows you to get to know him on a personal level, very friendly to work with. I have used several closing attorneys in the past for rental properties and he has the absolute lowest fees Ive found. I wish I had known about him sooner. He also helped me refinance my personal residence and he's very knowledgeable on which banks provide the lowest rates.

I hired Mr. Thames for a serious traffic charge (DUI). While handling this case another unfortunate event lead to another traffic charge (Driving without a valid license). Both charges could have effected my employment greatly. Mr. Thames helped me immensely on a professional and personal level. He made sure everything dealing with the court was handled although I was out of state and lead me through the court process so I would understand everything that was going on. In the end one charge was reduced drastically to a small fine, the other charge was dropped and my arrest records were restricted. I have no doubt this situation could've been devastating without Mr. Thames help. Thank you very much Mr. Thames. I recommend anyone reading this to speak with Mr. Thames regarding your situation.

I've dealt with 3 family law attorneys in the past and ALL THREE FAILED ME from the start but not Rhonda. I wish I had found her 3 years ago. I trust Rhonda 100% in all the advice she gives me and with my defense. I feel very confident in her every move with my child custody case. I've had bad gut feelings in the past regarding trusting an attorney but not with her. Whenever she needs something from me, she'll email me or call and vice versa. She's very knowledgeable and gathers information fast. She doesn't have a problem with working together with other attorneys. The more minds thinking, the better. She has not sugarcoated anything and has told me everything straight up. She has shown me that she is not afraid to fight. Right now we are dealing with one pain in the rear and so far she has been extremely professional and tough! I highly recommend Rhonda if you are looking for a family law attorney. She's awesome!

This attorney took her valuable time and advised us on a very delicate matter. Even took the time to research while we waited.....didn't charge us a penny and said we could do questions via email without coming into her office (with a credit card to pay for services in the future). I recently contacted this law firm to present my case and to find out whether or not Attorney McCain handled cases as mine - when I reached their office, i spoke with a gentleman by the name of Shawn Carter. When i tell you that i was highly impressed and beyond satisfied with my phone interaction - there are not enough words in our English vocabulary to describe truly how impressed I was with my phone interaction with Mr. Carter. Mr. Carter exemplified superb listening skills, compassion, empathy and his follow-up and follow through was simply impeccable. I am a firm believer that who a business, company, etc has on their "front lines" of their business representing them can do 1 of two things Make the business and company stronger, better and more efficient or destroy and tear down a company and business from the way they are conducting themselves and representing the company they are employed with and for me, Mr. Carter truly out shines and rank them all - it is my hope that Attorney McCain knows what an asset he has in Mr. Carter and the way Mr. Carter interacts on the phone with me truly helped me and although Attorney McCain wasn't able to be the one to assist me with my case, I felt it necessary to make my post of my phone interaction and experience with Mr. Carter and say, "Thank You Mr. Carter, May GOD bless and keep you and your family always."

You all wrong I had Jeffrey Y and they did their job I had internal injuries and a closed head injury and a spine injury and broken bones that I had to have surgery to fix and at least they are not tommy Dunaway and Teresa Dunaway and Howard that took $50,000 dollars from me for attorneys fees for my wreak in Merritt truckings dump trunk in 2001 on Oct 8 when they closed my case in November 2004 to say they least and with all that my family was destroyed on old Laurens road in greenwood SC where Teresa dunaway Howard residence is located in greenwood county make sure of who your attorneys are every one is not your friend when it comes to lawyers
I also used this office to and I am also being harassed constantly for being disabled even now all through the Internet and greenwood county and Abbeville county and Anderson county all in sc and tommy Dunaway and Teresa Dunaway Howard both have caused problems between my family and me and my son Danny L Kilgore jr

I hired Mr Bushway to represent me for some major felony charges that threatened to take me from my family for quite a long time. I was still incarcerated when I retained Mr. Bushway, and had been denied bond due to being from Florida. Mr bushway worked with my family’s budget, and allowed us to make payments on the total balance. Within a week of retaining Mr bushway, he not only got me a bond hearing, but got my bond approved, and set at a reasonable price. I was able to get out and get back to work. Shortly after, I was arrested in Florida on some unrelated charges, and I had to serve 2 years in Florida prisons. When I was arrested, I had not finished paying Mr bushway, and he had every single right to drop my case, due to my new arrest and my failure to complete payments. Not only did he inform the courts of my situation, and stop them from putting out warrants, he waited until my release and my first court date after being released from Florida DOC, Mr bushway was able to get the worst of my charges dismissed, and time served on the rest. Mr Bushway was able to get my case resolved in a way I never would have imagined, and he did all of this without even knowing for sure when I would finish the last payment. This goes to show you his true character and his immense compassion for his fellow humans. He cared more about getting me the best possible outcome, than he did getting the rest of his money. And yes, I did pay him immediately after court, because that is how he makes a living, and he deserves so much more than I can even begin to offer.
Mr Bushway did his absolute best for me, and he fought for my freedom. He is absolutely the best choice for a defense lawyer, and also an amazing human being. Thank you Mr Bushway, and god bless you always!

I had a profoundly disappointing experience with Sell & Melton. From the outset, the firm's communication was severely lacking, with calls and emails often going unanswered for days. When responses did come, they were often terse and uninformative, leaving me feeling neglected and uninformed about the status of my case. The firm failed to provide the guidance and support I expected, and their apparent lack of interest in my concerns was both frustrating and disheartening.
Moreover, the legal advice and representation I received were subpar. Critical deadlines were missed, and important details were overlooked, which adversely affected the outcome of my case. Despite their high fees, the quality of service was significantly below expectations. This experience not only cost me financially but also caused considerable emotional distress. I would strongly advise against using Sell & Melton for any legal needs, as their lack of professionalism and diligence was evident throughout my dealings with them.

Franklin T Gaddy has by far been the most professional lawyer we have dealt with. He communicates well and informs us of every new step taken within our child custody case.
We had a free consultation that went really well and we knew from that phone call without a doubt that this is the guy we needed for our child custody needs.

I hired Sarah in October 2019 to Fight for Custody of my grandson. I, myself was a paralegal for over 25 years. I wanted an Attorney who would put in the time to build a strong case for court. This case was very complicated and I knew I needed a competent, fearless, fighting Attorney with the knowledge, determination, and determination to fight for my grandson. Attorney Sara Roberts and her assistant, Leah are two of the best professional people I have ever met. They both kept me informed at all times of any new developments in my case. If ever I had a question, it was answered in a very timely manner. I know firsthand how hectic it can be for an attorney or paralegal to return phone calls, so patience is a virtue in all legal cases. So, we are unsure if the same person was answering our questions or if there're are several untrained people answering the phone providing the public with misinformation.

I thought the attorney works for the client. I requested that she fax a requested document on my behalf to a third party. At first, she acted as though she would by asking me to send her the document. After a while, I never heard back from her. I had to reach out to her to follow up on the document. She told me that she didn't think it was in my best interest to send the document to the third party. I insisted. She stated that she was not going to do it and is going to leave it up to me to send it. The best attorney ever....NOT!

I don’t know how anyone could not be pleased with this attorney. She explained everything to me and let me know what to expect. She returned my calls, emailed me, and even allowed me to text her on her personal cell phone when I had questions. My case was handled well and everything she told me she would file was filed. I would definitely hire her again if I ever needed an attorney.

On the surface, Ms. Brinson appears to be professional. However, once she received our retainer, the service went down from there. She was often unreachable. She refused to return calls, she did not honor her commitments and her knowledge of the law seemed questionable. Our case dragged on for 2 additional months simply because she was not aware of the appropriate actions to take to get our case before the judge. I had to contact the Judge's office myself and then instruct Ms. Brinson as to how she should proceed. During our hearing, the judge actually offered her instruction regarding the quality of work submitted to him. She presents herself as a professional and experienced attorney, but once you get to meet her in person, you will see that it's just for appearances. She was an incredible disappointment and unprofessional. Use this attorney at your own risk. She is probably one of the cheaper attorneys in Macon, but just remember that you get what you pay for. We paid in so many other ways because we chose to use her services.

I had Mrs. Geeslin as a public defender. I wish I never trusted her. Because of her I signed off on documents I had no business and it cost me my children. If you're a person of color, PLEASE do not choose her. She refused to defend my family because we didn't look like what we claimed! Now my children are being abused and sexually assaulted in foster care thanks to her.

Mr. Burnette failed to have my ex-wife served on time. Three weeks went by before she was served with my motion to modify custody. In court, he forgot many of the pieces of evidence I gave him, so when they were introduced by my ex-wife's lawyer, Mr. Burnette was not able to properly respond.

Poor communicator.
Won’t give you your paperwork back if you fire him even though you are entitled to it, he didn’t even know I had all the papers that I did have, said he would look for it and now he is not communicative back once again. Child custody matter has been going on for close to 3 years, he doesn’t wanna fight in court, he wants to play a defense mode and won’t fight for you no matter how good your case is. VERY POOR COMMUNICATION.

I hired Kevin Bradley in late 2009 to handle a child support matter. We had a jury trial and the jury came down on my side. Judge Lamar Sizemore asked Kevin Bradley to expedite the writing of the final Order so that he could sign it before he retired. A full 3.5 years went by and the Order was not written. After sending him a certified letter threatening legal action, he wrote it. I then discovered I had paid more than $3800 dollars in excess support. You may save money in the beginning because his retainer is low, but you will pay more in the long run because he only cares about your retainer. DO NOT HIRE KEVIN BRADLEY!
