I was referred to Amy Smith by some friends and I have to say that from the time of our initial consultation, I felt that Amy was very professional and caring to my concerns. She was always confident, responsive and courteous when I would email or call. She is extremely knowledgeable of the process and follows the rules. She is respected and well known by her peers, as I know a few.
I have to say that every time I called the office there was a friendly voice on the other side and you know when you hear a smile in the voice, you are in good hands. 5 stars does not portrait Mr. Newman as he more than deserves many more than 5 stars. I have had the ultimate honor in the past to utilize Mr. Newman’s personal and knowledgeable services. Almost two years ago, I began researching attorneys for my husband as I knew we would be trying to make a huge family decision for him to become primary custodian for our three beautiful step children. I had posted questions on avvo in the past in an attempt to gain insight on our situation and some sort of direction with how to approach such a HUGE request of the courts. In one of my last posts, Scott (he's huge on developing a level of comfort with his clients/families) responded in such a thorough and inviting way, that I had to make contact with him. He was extremely accommodating, as my husband and I live states away, and allowed us to have a FREE 30 minute consultation via phone conference. He appeared to be genuinely concerned, was very thorough and detailed in his responses to our inquiries and the entire time was very realistic about what we would be looking forward to. Just tried to call to find an attorney to represent me for an old case I literally have no idea about. Legit, just looking for somebody to throw my money at to take care of it. And this guy is just extremely unprofessional, talking to me like I’m some sort of piece of crap or something, talking to me like I should know all the details of something I ALREADY stated twice in email, and once after beginning our phone call that I . I hired burnham law group to get done what my original lawyer did not. Ashley has been amazing. She's always available by phone or email, and she always has a quick response! She stays on top of things, and gets things done very quickly.

I was very anxious about filing and it took me along time just to call. When I did, Jeanie actually spoke to me for 15 minutes herself! I went in for a free consultation and she couldnt be nicer. I finally filed and everything turned out just as she said. It was a great expereince and I am glad I finally did it. Jeannie and her staff were great and made the experience easier than I could have imagined.
