I first contacted Afia via her IG page, answered few questions about NIW then suggested a consultation call which I did. I booked a call and sent my CV, she said that my chances are strong and recommended going for NIW.
Now, it is worth noting that I consulted three lawyers before, all said they would not take my case since I do not have journal articles published. Regardless of that, I chose to take Afia's recommendation hire Yunus law. At the end of the day impression is perception and after the consultation call and watching her IG reels, the impression I had she is professional, knows what she does, and honest, so that is why I still took her recommendation although three others said no strong chances.
Afia and her team are committed, work professionally , and most importantly diligent in following up regarding the documents needed for the process. Also they generously premium processed my petition before my payment (I do not think that happens in other places :)
Finally I got my I-140 approved and I can't wait to apply for the green card.

If you are reading this in search of finding an attorney, you don’t need to look anywhere else. My experience with use of a different attorney unfortunately gave me huge disappointment until I found GAYLE ROSENBLUM'S office, located in Melville.
After my latest extremely negative experience with alaw firm, I was horrified to retain someone new. Time was extremely precious. My custody trial was approaching and I was desperately looking for a new representation. I reached out to Gayle's office on Friday morning and Liz (Gayle's paralegal) was able to accommodate meeting with Gayle on the same day, (FRIDAY 5PM!). During the consultation, Gayle took the time and explained things to me, I was not rushed (English is my 2nd language). Gayle provided clarity, honest upfront information. I am currently a very unhappy client, communication with the firm is non-existence, unless I initiate it. Then any info I need can't be handled on spot. It takes 2 - 4 days to even find out balance held in escrow account. They want to settle debts over monthly payments so they can keep collecting the interest on funds. I stated on many occasions I wanted a lump sum settlement no payments. I get a very good settlement offer directly from creditor, I explain Tayne us handling it for me. Agent at Tayne informs creditor that settlement works, however we need to make monthly payments over ten months. This with Tayne currently holding well over 90% of settlement offer. This turns into a argument between myself and Tayne; me asking what my escrow balance, Mike stating it will take three days to get this info, all while I hear a female voice in back ground staying we don't have enough in house for that settlement. I'm $296.65 short. Instead of telling me this they keep pushing your buttons to upset you even further. Remember I previously stated I wanted no payments in this matter. Been paying this firm $85.00 weekly to get to this point. It's all about the interest they will earn on your money.
BEWARE
UPDATE: For anyone who is considering this firm attached are emails I received concerning my SETTLED account. Everything I stated in my review is 100% facts. Read other reviews which are very similar to mine. This firm is all about taking people's money, not sending out statements, unless you call and request. I believe monthly statements are required by Federal Law when there are financial transactions being done. Per Rosie at Global Soultions the terms you presented of $3200 over 10 months is unacceptable, especially when you already have over $2900.00 in the escrow. Good-Luck proving otherwise.

Frustrating Experience with Suris and Associates
I rarely write negative reviews, but my experience with Suris and Associates has prompted me to share my concerns so that others can make informed decisions. After over a year of what I thought would be diligent representation for my case, the firm informed me that they would not be pursuing further actions. Their reasoning? They were unable to contact the insurance company.
For a law firm, one would expect a proactive approach, especially in a legal matter that can significantly impact someone’s life. Instead, I felt like my case was put on the back burner as I experienced frustrating delays and a serious lack of communication. If I could give negative stars I would…after receiving their latest invoice I was shocked and disgusted because my case has been delayed in court and they probably made a mistake and billed me for their mistake. I heard nothing from them for months and when I inquired about my case status, I received a useless answer by another lawyer who charges $550 an hour. Her email response was not that long and they charged me half an hour for it. It was ridiculous! I plan to fire them and hire another lawyer…

If you unfortunately decide to go with this attorney. Please beware and make sure you do the following.
Keep an eye on the billing and make sure you follow up with what you ask her to do. You will have to stay constantly on top of her if not she will not do it. Make sure you get ccd in all emails as she will tell you the opposite of what the opposing attorney says.
If I could choose 0 stars I would have. Just be aware, and make sure you stay on top of her if not all she will do is delay and keep billing. If you could deal with all of the above then I guess she might be for you.

I wish I could go back and hire someone else but just about everything is done. I've paid about $200,000 and didn't even get custody. I'm sick over everything. Diane is ruthless and vindictive and I'm not finalized. I cry everyday. She makes my skin crawl. I know attorneys can nickel and dime but she is ridiculous. She won't email anything and I find out information days after everyone else and mailed to me at my expense. There's never any courtesy - not even a stamp. She has dragged this out with letter after letter not caring how my kids are suffering. The law guardian she recommended is a laughing stock.

Having hired and used Ms. Kramer in my divorce I was extremely disappointed as I found she did not listen to my needs, seemed to not care much. In my case her complete lack of responsiveness made a bad situation awful both for me and my children. He is completely incompetent and should be disbarred immediately. He will drain all your resources , and only hurt your case. He works for himself and not for the client. He is a money hungry THIEF. He has no interests in resolving any case. He only navigates the case according to his selfish needs and will do anything in his power to destroy your case.
