I came to Lisa with several very old charges that other attorneys claimed I would do mandatory time for and/or face extremely high fees and fines. I live out of state, and this was going to be a huge problem.
Not only did I not do any time or probation, but she was able to get both cases completely closed with no court costs! I would recommend Lisa to anyone needing a lawyer in New Mexico!

I had very negative experiences using this firm. I had a very straightforward case that this firm had for several years. They neglected to move my case forward and kept assigning me to new associates until finally after like 20k in legal fees they sent me a letter saying they wouldn’t represent me anymore because their associate was leaving their firm. I found a new attorney that had my case settled in a matter of a couple months for a fraction of the cost. My new attorney couldn’t believe how poorly my case was handled. If you like paying bills and seeing your case go nowhere then you’ve found a great fit. If that’s not your thing keep looking.

He is very very stern. Out of 10 attempts on trying to look for an attorney in a very short time . Mr Hightower called me and he spoke hard but if he didn’t care to even hear about my case he would have never called me back . Most attorneys you have to talk to their assistant first , Mr Hightower called me and told me he could take my case . Some may not leave a good review and that’s ok . We just have to know he human just like we are .

As a young new father I didn't know much about family law, but knew that I needed the right person fighting for me. I personally would highly recommend Betsy Salcedo, she is very quick, intentive, and really knows what she is doing. Not is she friendly and highly professional but is also fairly priced. Ms. Salcedo never failed to exceed, I was always satisfied with her work. She has a great ability to grab all of the bits and pieces of information and when it came to my defence was able to effectively use that information. when ever I had a question Ms. Salcedo would always be more than happy to take the time out of her day to answer them.

Betsy has been my saving grace through the most hellacious time in my life. She has been fair with payments and pricing as she knows that I am struggling financially. She has taken phone calls and texts at crazy times and has even called while she was assisting her son with homework when I was in a panic. She takes her time and explains what may or may not happen.
Neither of us knew my case would take a turn the way it has and she has gone above and beyond to get me what I deserve for my children. I recommend her to everyone I know!

Before working with Mr. Porter i had lost hope in getting custody of my girls from CYFD again. I figured i was just lost hope as my record, and my parole looked rough on paper. However, Mr. Porter saw me as a good, dedicated father instead of a criminal with no hope. He stepped in, gave me hope. Fatherly rights are a huge thing, the courts don't see it that way much, but Virginia Dugan is a true believer. She saw who I was and how desperately I needed my Son and he me. Sarah is a wealth of information. She was knowledgeable about the divorce/custody process and was even able to recommend a couple things that I could do on my own rather than taking everything through the courts.
Sarah is also very empathetic and I felt like she really understood my story and was able to help defend me at my hearing. She was always calm and professional which helped me to be more calm during court.

I was lucky enough to find David Lutz to represent me through a contentious divorce, which included the custody of my child and the splitting of two businesses among many other assests. He was very resourceful and knowledge about the law as it pertained to very specific concerns and issues regarding the division of assests. What was most helpful and important to me was his role as an empathetic advocate. The divorce process can be very confusing and fraught with emotion, he was able to calm fears and guide me through the process . He returned my correspondence very quickly, even when he was out of town. He personifies the attributes of someone you can trust especially in a very difficult transition to navigate. Mr. Dixon is a great colleague to have in the legal profession.
