He did an amazing job dealing with a very adhd hyper and unorganized person at the time. He saved my life I don’t want to put my story but if he and Colleen didn’t take me on at separate times btw I would not have my children because Colleen. Keith is still be in prison for something I didn’t even do but he got me my license back after getting 3 tickets for driving with out a license. But the initial charge wasn’t valid even the other lawyers I called said they couldn’t do that they might be able to get my jail time reduce. He did it all those tickets were cleared and the disorderly conduct even though I was innocent he was right if I was to get in front of judge or jury I’d be in jail for years. The best ever.

My husband was caught with distributing drugs and was facing a mandatory of 24 months in jail. We have two little girls and I automatically assumed my life would turn upside down. I contacted my uncle who hired Ben Datika in the past for his sons case. Long story short Ben Datika comforted me and promised me that he will do his best on my husbands case. I initially was unsure weather or not hire an attorney to represent me in my support and custody case. The first few hearings I spoke on my own behalf and it was horrible! Nothing was being ruled in my favor and I had serious concerns of losing custody of my 3 young sons. Luckily I found Diane and I am so thankful! Denise (Luz) Negron-Bennett made all the difference to me in the way she handled my divorce case. She answered every question I had along the way, and took the initiative to research relevant case law to put my mind at ease more times than I like to remember. I hired Denise for what should have been a much simpler divorce process, since my husband and I had no children together and the asset division seemed pretty straightforward. Yet when my husband made things difficult, Denise did everything to both counter his -- and his lawyer's -- games, and to protect me proactively re: assets, property access and distribution, anticipating court actions, and strategizing for my case. A warm and caring person by nature, Denise showed great compassion to me during what turned out to be a much more complex legal process than I had expected. She asked the right questions and knew when to stand her ground — even with me when I could not, at times, accept the reality of my own case or the ambiguity of some aspects of PA divorce law. Denise was beyond fair with her hourly pricing, and her office's physical location directly across from the courthouse in Norristown made filing and court appearances a much less costly process for me. During my miserable divorce, I spent a great deal of time with Michael. I found him to be VERY impressive. He in a "no nonsense" kind of guy who truly acted in my best interest all of the time. I have been dealing with both Anita and Sharon for a total of twelve years now. They both have represented our son in different legal matters ! Extremely disappointed. I spoke with Mr Beck and was very excited to work with him. He asked me to send over some information via email and he’d get started on my case. I followed up via email, in a week to see if he needed anything else from me. No reply. I called the office and left a message. I Wanted to be sure my email didn’t go to his spam or anything. No call back. I then Called 2wks after that call and spoke to another partner, Paul. I told him it’s been over a month and I hadn’t heard anything. I also mentioned if Mr. Beck isn’t interested in having me as a client, that’s ok but please let me know so I can find another lawyer. I’ve now wasted a month. He took my info and said he’d deliver the message. That was a week ago. Since 7/3 I haven’t heard anything back from Basil Beck. At this point I am now looking for another license lawyer. I am very disappointed with the outcome of this situation. Basil Beck had great reviews and specializes in exactly what I need for my case. It’s a shame.

Mr FOGLE recently did my husbands and my will and living will. We had considered legal zoom, but other cheaper legal websites didn't protect us as litigiously and thoroughly with other states and likely wouldn't have held up in court. His hourly charges on my bill was a little more than doing it via the internet myself, but for the hours and time he put into our wills and the pages upon pages covering all our assets and last wishes were above and beyond any other lawyer in the region. He's also helped us with family members who needed criminal counsel in court and won every case including my divorce iwhich included a PFA, child support and the full custody I sought and won thanks to him when he represented me with in court (and won my cases), before doing our wills once we were eventually married were worth it. His cost for the hours he spent on the phone 24/7/365, in person meeting us in the office, as well as coming to our home with just a few hours notice to him and the hours he spent prepping before and in court were above and beyond our expectations! I would recommend him to any and all family and friends without hesitation for both my civil needs and family criminal cases rendered were worth every penny. He saved my life and worked with me on payment! He's the best lawyer and not your typical uncaring, money digging lawyer most lawyers typically are these days!!! He reminded me of the rainmaker! I hired Abby after having a bad experience with another attorney, who made me feel like he did not value my input related to my child's custody arrangement . Abby always made me feel like my case was a top priority for her, really listened to what I was looking for, and helped me to navigate the process to optimize the outcome for my child and limited the contention that can typically arise in these types of things. Abby also went out of her way to meet me during times/days that would work for me given my nontraditional work schedule, which I really appreciated.

We had hired Ms Leeds for one of two cases. She knew the date scheduled for court but the morning of is when she decided to let everyone else know she had gone on vacation. Court was rescheduled and when I arrived she was offended I didn’t know her face and entire hearing discussed with her DA buddies what they were gonna do.... she knew nothing of her clients case which she had in her hands and looked at it like it was supposed to talk to her. She did not at all represent her client, I had to give her the death stAre or speak up myself to speak on her clients behalf. Also, instead of dealing with the charges she misinformed her client to get him to agree to continue... HE HAD NO CHARGES AND SHE CONTINUED IT! Most likely to get her greedy hands into the next charge in which she was to charge more but the first was paid in full and not yet dealt with... Not only did we have this horrible unnecessary experience. She was absolutely almost impossible to get a hold of by phone, text, email even Facebook. She has all clients paperwork. ALL ORIGINAL PAPERWORK no copies were made! Did I mention she failed to write up an agreement of services? What lawyer does not have some type of written agreement with their clients?? We fired her about a month ago But we still try to call her for the inmate only proof of innocence alas, still No reply from Ms Abby Leeds. We don’t even know if she knows she was fired!! Completely and totally unprofessional in any and all standards and we will be contacting the Bar Association as well as others!

I was referred to Mr. Berschler by another attorney who stated that he was the best. Not. I ended up firing him.
#1. I asked him to file my divorce as “with cause”, because I had proof that it was appropriate. He did not, and then when I inquired into the progress, he said it was too late to file “with cause” and that I should just sign the “no fault” papers presented by my husband’s attorney. ( it actually turned out that it was not too late and he could have counter filed.)
# 2. He did not file for custody in the beginning and told me there was no point in filing for support early on as my husband “was paying the bills”. This advice caused huge problems down the road.
#3. When he called to update me he was usually in his car driving home. Hard to believe he was committed to doing a good job for me when his phone contacts seemed like afterthoughts.
#4. His treatment of my case was simply pro forma with no apparent consideration given to my situation financially, or my life as a single parent with 2 small children.
#5. The last straw was his inability to understand the complexities of several parts of my husband’s job which impacted the settlement negatively. I fired him.
The divorce began 1999 and took several years and cost many, many thousands of dollars, most of which was paid to Mr. Berschler. To this day my life is impacted by his actions.

I had been in a relationship that was ending. I was essentially cut off financially and socially at this point, but had to secure my belongings and money my father had left me after I found out my ex had cheated on me and was planning to oust me to move the new suitor into our home.
Of note, my now ex made substantially more money than I, as I was in nursing school and hadn’t graduated yet. (My ex also supported me in my first year as a nursing school student, but as many people with narcissistic tendencies, she had cut me off from my friends and family, and since I was now being supported by her, she had all control over my financials)
My father had died and left me a pretty good sun of money. A month later was when I learned I was being cheated on.
My ex made comments that she was planning on coming for the money my father left me. At which point I contacted Helen for what I heard was her expertise in this area.
I explained the situation. She explained to me that my money was my money and that since I was not married, I was entitled to every penny my father had left to me. We drew up an agreement. I had been in contact with Helen and her assistants numerous times with the understanding that I would be contacted about any communication between her office and my ex.
I was sent a draft of the agreement to look over for final to be written up after my ok.
I received a response from my ex to the email/agreement that hadn’t been finalized by me. When I asked Ms. Casale about clearing with me before sending out the agreement, she didn’t get back to me immediately.
When she finally got back to me, she became hostile- threatening that she was going to drop the case and telling me that I should maybe find another attorney to finish out the agreement and to finalize the rest of the issues with my ex.
I plead with her to not do that because I didn’t know anyone else and was feeling quite vulnerable and abandoned by this person who I had paid a good chunk of money to retain for this matter.
I’m not sure if there was something going on personally for her or if my manipulative and borderline (diagnosed) ex was in her ear, but Helen spoke to me in a very unprofessional manner after we had agreed on specific things to happen.
She could have at least apologized about the miscommunication, but I never actually heard from her again.
The rest of the agreement was finalized by her assistants/paralegal team, and I was able to get my money and belongings out before my ex could do anything to my things.
So yes, everything ended up fine, but at the time I could have really used someone being a little kinder to me in that situation. I was a mess, as literally my whole world was turning upside down, and I had no friends to help me through at that point.
And then to be made to feel like I had done something wrong in asking why the final draft wasn’t cleared by me (as originally agreed upon).
While I would recommend her because there are very few lawyers that I know of who specifically deal with LGBTQIA+ Family matters, be very careful in how you deal with her as she can turn on you on a dime.

Consulted and hired Helen for a custody/relocation case. Other parent had 60% custody, I had 40% per week.
Other parent attempting to move 1,200 miles away.
My case was in front of very difficult Judge who Helen had not been had experience with.
At the court date, Helen was at the mercy of the judge's pre-trial opinion for a settlement, unfortunately. I was frustrated overall with this poor settlement and Helen took it personally. This ultimately led to a 20-minute 'clash' between client and attorney. I asked Helen to request a few terms that would benefit me and my child. She changed 1 or 2 items that benefited me and returned with a printed unsigned settlement. I did ask for additional terms, but Helen was reluctant to even ask the Judge.
The most important part of this review is that Helen suggested she would walk out and that I find a new lawyer. I believe this to be unprofessional.
There were times Helen displayed legitimate knowledge of an experienced attorney. I would have enjoyed to see her in a trial, however, this Judge made it difficult for all clients and attorneys.

He charges extortionate amounts for the work that he actually does, he did a terrible job during my divorce which left me in a lot of debt and very unfairly so. I would recommend steering completely clear of Mr. Shoemaker for any family matters.

He will literally watch a parent and their children get ripped apart and support a vindictive parent in damaging relationships with the opposing side. This guy is in it for the money.
