Archana Srivastava, Esq. is a wonderful lawyer. She has helped me navigate custody issues with a difficult ex husband. I wish I had taken the advice she gave me in several instances. I should have listened to her because she was trying to guide me to compromising on things instead of fighting my ex. I regret not listening to her more because she knew what she was talking about. She wanted to resolve things in a constructive way which is one of the many reasons why I think Archana is a great lawyer.

If you ever find yourself in the situation of needing a family/DV law attorney, Asha is second to none. She is a rare combination of kindness and razor sharp smart. Why do i recommend her so strongly? My Divorce case started in August 2017, and at that time I was represented by another attorney, but within one month I switched on to another attorney (Not Asha). Why?
My previous attorney was totally unprofessional, and would be on time with invoice but no progress in the case. So, I chose another lawyer and that lawyer just made a mess of my case by making delay in submitting document, and moreover the stipulation which we made were a dark web to ensure that my case runs for a long time and the attorney can keep running the invoices. Moving further 1 year into my case with no progress, I reached out to Asha again, and lucky me, she accepted the case. That was the first best step in my case which i took..
I myself give 100% in work and i feel actions are better than words. But the other attorney's were primarily words and gave only 5-10% of effort what i would expect. I am not a lawyer, but as you go with your case, you start seeing the positive / negative of the strategy which your lawyer recommends / adopts. I was getting impatient and my anxiety of what should be done was increasing and taking a toll on me. So, with the hope that may be Asha is the right attorney, i decided to talk to her. Also, I got recommendation of her from one of my colleague where Asha was the opposing counsel. She is awesome, that's why someone recommended the opposing counsel!.
Oh man, believe me, Since the day Asha took over my case, I never had to worry about my case at all. I am not exaggerating but her professionalism, timeliness and ethics would make it easy for you to worry less / none about the case. I am fan, and in awe of Asha's professionalism, she is the best attorney one could get.
What I got?
- All the documentation was thorough, thought through and ON TIME.
- She reviewed the existing case documents, sat with me and explained how we are going to tackle the existing issues. (Some of them created by previous attorney's)
- She is very transparent and will keep me looped (in bcc) with the emails to opposing counsel. This instils huge trust as you believe / see what is going on vs Oh i spoke and this is what the other counsel said.
- Every email I sent, i got a quick and satisfactory response. This reduces the number of emails which you send and keeps your brain content. She might respond, that I will get to you by xxx day, but that will keep you content and she will definitely respond. (No bluffs from her side at all on timelines)
- We prepared for trial thoroughly and since that day, my communication to her is very little, because she has already covered everything, now for our hearings there is little or nothing to discuss. Our preparation is well in advance.
- Proper billing, Every penny is worth. 100%.
- Results: In my case, there were couple of things
1. 50% Child Custody - Before i filed divorce, my wife didn't let me see my daughter at all, for one year she was away and gave me no access to our kid. When she came back to US, i had to fight to get the custody.
2. Date of Separation was contested - We got the DOS which we wanted. This has huge impact in support / alimony calculation.
3. Property - This is on-going, I am fully satisfied with the strategy.. Let's see how the Judge rules it.
4. Bifurcation - My previous lawyer got me into a serious mess, and since I am an immigrant, there were immigration issues because of which Bifurcation became a challenge. Asha's persistent approach has brought bifurcation on the table now, Judge agreed to grant bifurcation. That is a great win! Because my wife, wants to extend the case forever..
4. Anti-Injunction granted
- Lastly - PEACE. Most Important.

Tom Kurta is an amazing lawyer, he is smart and efficient. He was easy to talk to not like other lawyers that I have dealt with in the past, that were always 'too busy or too good' to return my phone calls. I had a great experience working with The Law Office of Steve Fuerch. I was injured in a car accident that was not my fault and was hit by an uninsured motorist. Kent was very knowledgable about what needed to be done regarding my case and situation. He was always very truthful and didn't sugar coat things, which was refreshing. If something was not the most beneficial for me, he told me so, rather than just proceeding along, charging me the whole way! Since my case has been done, I've contacted him with a couple of questions, and he always gets back to me, and has been really helpful. He's very trustworthy and I would have no problems using him again for anything if necessary. This is how professional attorneys are supposed to be, and he's great!

I found Mr. Tierney using Yelp. His reviews were excellent. He wrote a contract for my wife and I on a construction project. We have also used Mr. Tierney for several cases related to rental properties (evictions). He was very reasonable with his fees and extremely knowledgable. I don't write many reviews but I felt obligated to leave a review on Avvo because of their rating system. We investigated Mr. Tierney and were comfortable using him, we found him to be honest and extemely helpful. Don't rely on one site's rating system without investigating any attorney your going to use completely

I retained kate's law firm to handle my bankruptcy and i am so happy i did. kate was very informed, caring and professional. Cynthia came into my case after 5 years of dealing with an extremely litigious ex. I had been to court many times and it all seemed to be a "band-aid" until the next time he filed. Carol is an extremely competent and knowledgeable attorney in the matters of family law. Finding a very good family law attorney is extremely difficult and I was very lucky to find Carol for my case. She guided me very well from the beginning regarding my case.

It’s a miracle! I was pulled over and charged with DUI in my personal car on July 23rd, even worse is I am a CDL driver. The very probable outcome would be CDL suspension, tough DMV hearing, IID installed, SR22 insurance pay, DUI Fine, and the worst, unemployment and get stuck in the miserable condition for a couple of years. Thanks be to God, I came across those real comments and cases like what I am writing down here and the details and descriptions convinced me. I did only one correct thing the next day: call Gorelick Law Office. It turns out a surprise conviction: wet reckless driving, no CDL suspension, no DMV hearing, no IID, no SR 22 insurance… I am wondering now maybe Lynn and Teresa could possibly have been able to dismiss my case if I had tried all my best.

Denise I'm coming for you, you took my hard-earned money AND did nothing with my Divorce case, then split to SoCal.
Your doing nothing hurt my case, you put me in a bad situation with the Martinez Court. What a scam you're running. you said you had Covid after you ghosted me for 90 days. FINE, then Zelle me my $3200. You asked for more money, then removed yourself from my case without consulting me on the very next day.

Stay away from this lawyer. I paid the retainer back on June 14, 2022 although I was not ready to file for the dissolution of my marriage because we were trying to get the house sold first before my husband and I filed but Denise had told me that to be assured of her availability, I needed to pay her the retainer fee. So I gave her my credit card and bank info, I figured, she’s a lawyer, she will not scam me right?
I told her that I will let her know when I am ready for her to file. So I’ve emailed her requesting an appointment over the phone on August 17, no response. I’ve sent her another email on August 27 requesting the same and she finally told me that she was available to talk on Sunday evening at 5. I spoke with her and she had told me that she will be sending two forms for me to fill out (I remember later that I had already filled out two forms that she needed to file) but that she just had moved to a new office and will have to hook up her computer first-she was going to send me those forms later on that night. A whole week passed, and I haven’t received any form of communication from her, I’ve sent sent emails on 8/29, 8/31, and 9/1 following up on the forms that she was supposed to send but not once did she respond. I’ve left messages on her phone, sent her text messages on 9/5 & 9/8, still no response. I thought of calling her on my work cell phone on 9/8 and I’ve received a text from her saying right away stating”please text me”.
On 9/16, I’ve emailed her notifying her that I wanted to opt out of my contract with her since she hasn’t done anything for me and I had not heard back from her despite many attempts of contacting her. She called me on 9/19 and told me that she was ill. I told her again that I want to cancel our contract and I want my retainer back. She said it had to go through accounting first, that was 14 days ago and I’ve still not received any reimbursement.

My ex filed an emergency ex parte order which the court holds hearings on pretty fast. He also requested child support. I was so lost in the process as things happened suddenly and had no representation during the first two hearings. I was lost as to what was happening or why it was happening.
I requested a consult with Denise who called me back. I'd spoken with a few attorneys before getting to Denise, none of which gave me the time of day other than to say they worked in family law and what their rates were. During our consult, she took her time to explain (although I'd already been to court twice) what was happening, ask me me questions to ensure she understood specifics related to my case, and then explained what defenses we could present and what the process would be moving forward all before I paid her a dime. She was honest in that this may not be a fast process, transparent, and most importantly (especially as I have never had to deal with family court before) sympathetic. Although we are still in court, she has been able to get some pretty nice wins - legal rights such as educational and medical access, ex was interfering with my ability to communicate with our child. Denise was able to argue this and have judge order him to purchase her a cellphone so I could communicate with her directly. ALL of this was done in her 1st court appearance on my behalf!
She calls prior to court hearings to make sure we are on same page with strategy, what may possibly happen/what to expect and what we're going after during the hearing. She also calls to debrief after court hearing with next steps.
Denise representing me has given me hope where it felt hopeless before and helped me to understand more about the process where I had zero understanding and knowledge.

Richard was on my divorce case starting in 2004. paid over $120,000 for delays, many mistakes and and incompetence. many years from now i will look back and laugh from the stress and delays in my divorce case, just mot for awhile. Richard once told me he had "jet lag" when i pointed out several basic mistakes. (had "jet lag" from a flight from L.A. about a 45 minute flight) I paid $375.00/hour for basic services a grade school graduate could do!

This Lawyer lacks fortitude, allows opposing council to walk all over his clients.
I recommend that you seek council else where if you want a Lawyer to protect your interests, or display a backbone anyway.
Mr. Flanders is always out of the office, I have caught him in several lies, his office would say one thing he would say another, seems to me a pretty poor attempt at avoiding a client wanting to know where there case is going.
Honestly find another Lawyer, if your reading this your working on your due diligence.

Blaha is horrrible. He rolls over on any request of the woman you are divorcing and tells you to give it to her. He allowed a friend of my wife's to undervalue our home by over $100k in the settlement and then he gave me bad advice to pay alimony when my wife was making over $80k a year and we had no children.

I went to azadeh for immigration consultation. She was late for her appointment and the moment she came to the office she very rudely asked me to sit down as i was trying to sooth my 1 month old baby by standing close to my chair, regarding the consultation she did knew nothing, she didnt knew where to look for type of visas and when i try to assist her she said she knows how to do her job well. it was 30 mins consultation and she had no interest in my case and in 8 mins she was done with me, least interesting in listening to me just spoke about her rate and not even bothered to listen to my whole reason of visiting her. She was highly unprofessional.
