Christopher Abernathy did an amazing job at handling my complex divorce case. My ex wife was perjuring herself and literally lying to the Judge and without Christopher being well prepared and ready to show the court that she was in fact lying, it could have been a different outcome. Christopher's staff was awesome as well and the whole team exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Christopher Abernathy. Thank you Christopher!!

Our case was not a straight forward one and was one that took a lot of finesse. Compared to previous lawyers we noticed the following:
1) We did not have charges "run up" for no reason as we experienced at other firms.
2) Mr. Abernathy was very accessible and his staff was on top of everything. We did not feel like we had to constantly follow up to make sure things were done on time.
3) Lastly, Mr. Abernathy is very well respected and 1000% knows the law and the best approach to cases.
We literally walked in to trial not particularly optimistic given our past history with my ex, who often got their way from smear campaigns and lying, and the challenge of getting the court to "disrupt status quo". We walked out with basically what we wanted (and most importantly what was best for the children).
Best decision ever to switch to Mr. Abernathy's firm.

Christopher Abernathy is a gift from God. I had the most complex, difficult case that made me want to loose hope. Contacting Chris was the best thing I could have ever done. He has gone the extra mile to ensure me and my family received the best results from the court system. It is heart wrenching enough to have to need a lawyer, however, if you find your self in a situation like I did, having Chris and his team on your team ensures you are in the best hands. He knows the law and knows how to ensure you, your case, and your family members are in the best position possible throughout the entire process. When I lost hope, Chris assured me that we would be just fine. This week, he lead our case to the most amazing settlement. No doubt divorce is disruptive, emotionally and financially draining. The last thing you need to worry about is if your attorney is honest and looking out for your best interests. Mr Zitney is both honest and skilled. He listened to and understood what was important to me in the settlement. He presented me best and worst case scenarios and he immediately went to work. He represented me with dignity. MT his legal assistant/paralegal doesn't ever sleep! She kept me updated on the status of my case. Its been said a good divorce is when both sides lose. I retained Ms. Main about 6 months into my existing case after firing my first attorney. I was terrified and scared and discouraged because of my previous experience with the court system. My previous attorney dropped the ball and Ms. Main came into the picture and had to clean up his mess. From day one, she remembered every detail of my case and I was 100% confident in her court room appearance as well as all of the paper work that her office filed. She always put my son’s best interest ahead of anything else. She is truly ethical and was so professional in the court room even when the judge and opposong council left me with a sour taste in my mouth. She never stooped to their level and always stayed professional and fought for what was right! She is extremely knowledgeable and is “the smartest person in the room” (inside joke). Opposing council was a loud mouth and should actually be a criminal defense attorney, not a family law attorney. It’s actually disgusting how horrible other attorneys can be. HOWEVER, Rebekah is someone you want on your team. Child custody is heart breaking and gut wrenching. It’s expensive (however she is fairly priced and doesn’t charge above and beyond like most). After over two years from my initial hearing, my case finally was resolved and I am so grateful that I can now put the nightmare behind me. Let me add, it was opposing who consistently dragged out our case, not Rebekah. She wanted resolution as much as I did. She is extremely valuable and as far as I’m concerned one of the best attorneys I have ever known. Her staff is also awesome! I felt like they knew me on a personal level, I never felt like a business transaction. I am telling you now, if you are searching for a child custody attorney, do not waste your time looking elsewhere, hire Ms. Main. You won’t regret it. If I could give her 100 stars I would. THANK YOU for your honesty and integrity!

Matthew took my case last minute he heard me out was patient and I promise you I had to wait years for justice to be finally heard before I met Matthew. I had my daughter back safely home with me in just a short time! I’m going to leave - 3 stars based of my experience. The first time I retained them it went great I wasn’t charged that much and he really fought for me to get more time with my children and he went in like a shark it was good. The second time I retained them it was really expensive and false hope. And I felt we were really unprepared. Lack of motivation, maybe? Tried to file before my ex but lost that. Never talked about the case to prepare. Only a few mins before court. Lost time with my kids. I should’ve just agreed with my ex and taken my kids to Disney. Idk if I’m just emotional about the whole situation. But I wasn’t really happy the second round. Just my opinion.

I came into contact with Rebecca by accident. I am dealing with a high-conflict child custody case in San Diego County. Very serious events have occurred which I do not want to share publicly that required assistance from Rebecca. Rebecca represents the Mother of a child my ex-wife has allegedly kidnapped. The child has been missing since November and is still missing. There are many different law enforcement agencies involved, as well as three different courts in three counties regarding child abduction. Rebecca has gone above and beyond to research issues related to this case and provide me and her client with guidance as it relates to informing the court of the facts and getting all counties and all law enforcement on the same page. Rebecca is intuitive and very smart. She is honest and exercises integrity when dealing with me and other people. Rebecca can be curt and straight to the point which initially threw me off. I felt her tone was aggressive with me. Then when I realized who she was and what part she plays in these cases; I understood her intensity. She literally cross-examined me when she found me. Yes, she found me! While doing research on her kidnapping case she traced several relatives of the alleged kidnapper. Rebecca has laser focus. I can imagine that is offputting to sensitive people who need hand-holding. Despite her initial aggressive and curt demeanor she has a huge heart and has the children's best interests at the top of her list. Due to her call, her conversation with my attorney, and her efforts to this day, I have full custody of my son after being alienated for over 6 months

I hired Rebecca to represent me in a high-conflict child custody case in Riverside. I was looking for an attorney that would stand up for me, and make all of my evidence known to the Judge. Rebecca filed motion after motion for me until the court finally made a decision in my favor. I am dealing with a severe parental alienation case. Rebecca fought hard so that the court would HEAR what I was trying to say. Communication with her office is very easy. The office’s procedures make it efficient and quick to get questions answered and get updates on my case. All documents are forwarded to me for review. The only issue is that Rebecca is on the pricier side. However, her reputation in the community, her relationships with everyone from the court staff to the janitor, make the court appearance so much less stressful. You really do pay for what you get. My prior attorney charged much less but I ended up paying just as much as Rebecca charges because their office was inefficient, disorganized, and just not up to my standards. It seems like that is the norm for most firms. Not Rebecca’s firm. Those girls are a team and it is evident that they work very well together. Rebecca knows the law cold. She thinks quickly on her feet and does not give up. Highly recommend.

Generally, I do not post personal detailed reviews, but Rebecca and her team deserve to be recognized for their tireless efforts. Just over a couple years ago, I frantically called for a semi-emergent after-hours consult, expecting to hear back from her the next day. Thankfully, Rebecca immediately sprang into action, responding later that day. With a few factual details, she knew exactly what to do and began handling my intense situation. Mr. Naime was my 4th and last attorney in a nearly 4 year divorce. Now I know what makes a great family law attorney. Mr. Naime knows and cares about the law and his clients. He relies on his superior intelligence and knowledge of the law to win your case. I believe he was the only attorney I had who was actually honest with me and worked hard on my case. He allowed me to make my own decisions about my case. The other attorneys I used seemed to keep me dark in order to make their job easier. You are completely reliant on your attorney in a divorce and if you question who's side they're actually on repeatedly, something is wrong. I had to find an Attorney pretty quickly, as we were in a time crunch to respond. I had read the reviews for the Richard K. Isles firm and was introduced to my now Attorney, Cora J. Dorado. She has been nothing but wonderful! There have been several instances when I have needed answers quickly, like within 1-2 hours, due to the other party not cooperating, and Cora has always responded in a timely manner. Her Paralegal, Leigh Collins, has been amazing as well, very professional and personable! They really do put the Clients first and have made it more of a pleasurable experience because of the personal relationship they have established with me. My case is still ongoing, but I wouldn't go to any other attorney than Cora, I feel like I am in the best hands and she is a very knowledgeable attorney, well beyond her years.

I was looking for attorney to help me with a hearing related to a domestic violence restraining order, child custody, and child support and I chose Mr. Brock because he was highly recommended to me by a friend. Mr. Garcia and Mrs. Gnekow were exceptional in their representation. They worked on my case which was difficult. Unfortunately, I was dealing with an ex-wife who had no interest in dealing or negotiating in good faith for what would be best for our children. My case has been on-going for nearly five years. Multiple RFO's filed through the years and endless litigation just to get small extensions of my visitation. The biggest issue is I had no legal or physical custody rights to my children. I was in a big deficit. I had a previous attorney that was good, but Mrs. Gnekow had big plans for me. She believed in my case and from day one believed she could help me get more than what I was even asking for. I had pretty much dropped the idea of joint legal custody because most people thought I needed a change of circumstance to make that happen. Not Mrs. Gnekow or Mr. Garcia. They saw their chance to argue that for me along with all my other requests which were very reasonable, (holidays, half of vacation breaks,). When they time came in the last few weeks to go to court; we hardly spent time in the actual courtroom. It took a few weeks to navigate through the stipulation and I knew my ex-wife would not go down without a fight, but in the end Mrs. Gnekow and Mr. Garcia got it done. I am a Christian and God brings people into your life for a reason. God brought me to this firm and their firm delivered beyond my expectations which is how God operates.
