I reached out to Mr. Zoucha because I was in need of legal advice regarding a potential custody and visitation dispute. Mr. Zoucha was very quick to respond and schedule an initial consultation during which he was very thorough in getting the background facts, patiently talked through the issues and answered many questions. He helped me identify that I also needed legal help in a different practice area and helped connect me with an attorney regarding an unlawful detainer case. After the completion of that matter, I had several follow up communications with Mr. Zoucha about the custody and visitation dispute and he did not charge me for that work. I can without question recommend Mr. Warhurst to anyone seeking the best in legal representation. He is not only an expert in the law, but he is an honest and compassionate advocate. She was my first and only lawyer for my divorce, but as I am am lawyer myself, I have worked with a lot of lawyers over the years on various cases. If I could give her more than 5 stars, I would! She helped me through a horrible divorce, with a 5 1/2 year battle that ended up in multiple courts (family, bankruptcy and appellate) and involved some awful, incredibly contentious and complicated custody issues. She not only did a great job, she really cared about me, and about what was best for my children. She was (and is) great!

Ms. McMurray was appointed by the court as minor's counsel. She never bothered to contact the motioning party as to _why_ she was appointed, she just started her $500+/hr clock and did what she wanted, racking up over $20K in fees. I am informed and believe that she does a lot of Domestic Violence work, and my impression is that she is thus somewhat unconsciously biased against men. She did about an hours worth of value added work in my case, translating minor's letter to the judge into the form of a declaration. The rest did not move the case forward to resolution. The best analogy I can make is that she was a tourist in my family's life, choosing when to pop in and pop out, and seemingly did so right before hearings just so she could appear informed. Hopefully this assists you in determining whether Ms. McMurray is the right fit for your case.
