I went into this unfortunate situation completely unaware of what to expect. Constantly worried about what the final outcome would be, but in the end Catherine delivered in all aspects of representing me and my needs. In comparison to the opposing the counsel, it was so obvious that Catherine was better prepared, more knowledgable, better organized, and completely in control of the situation at all times. Not only was she great at representing me as a lawyer, but she herself is a genuine good person, and I felt that she truly had my best interest in mind throughout the process. She completely goes against the stereotypical divorce lawyer you hear about, and you actually feel that your are not just a case number, but rather a person in need of help that she takes very seriously. Going through a divorce is not something most people anticipate and there are no real guidelines to follow on what to do but Catherine sure was knowledgeable, compassionate and very good throughout the entire process. She is a great listener and provided really good insight for my situation. She walked me through every step and gave me great recommendations for a Private Investigator and Forensic Accountant. She was amazing in court and well respected by her peers and the Judge. I felt like she really prepared for my case and she was able to fight for me and we received great results. She won't overpromise you but she often exceeded my expectations in what we were awarded by the Judge. I have and will continue to recommend her to anyone going through a divorce.

I retained Elizabeth's services for a contempt filing. I received great council and representation. Below is a breakdown of a few of the areas that I think are important:
Communication: Excellent. Emails and phone calls were responded to in less than 24 hours and in most cases with in a few hours during the business day. Additionally, proactive communication concerning status was immediate. I knew exactly where we were in the process at all times without having to ask.
Staff: Like most law firms, Elizabeth has a team of paralegals and support staff. I found them to be a pleasure to work with. They were all friendly, very responsive and knowledgeable.
Use of Technology: While seemingly less important, the competent use of technology can make or break the experience. Elizabeth's firm uses technology very well. Meetings can be conducted leveraging video conferencing, payments can be automated, detailed billing reports are available in near real time, and they use document repositories very effectively that both parties have access to. The shared document repositories were great.
Representation and attention to detail: Elizabeth and her team are very friendly but aggressive while still ethical when it comes to their approach. They do not leave items on the table, so to speak. I truly believe that I could not have received better representation. They went above and beyond on more than one occasion. They were so effective that we were able to avoid a nasty court battle without capitulating on any of our requests. Highly unusual outcome. As a note (the defendant may not agree), I do believe that Elizabeth prevented a truly negative and potentially damaging outcome for the defendant.
Cost: This is a hard one for me to judge since I do not have the need for legal representation often. However, I do believe that in most cases you get what you pay for. Therefor, the benefit and outcome justified the cost. I am pretty sure that I was not billed for every single second that was spent on my case. In other words, I was not "nickel and dimmed". Additionally, cost and fees were transparent and communicated clearly. There were no surprises.
In summation, I would absolutely retain this firm again.

I was shuffled around from person to person. Nobody really took care of my case. I was recommended to go to a chiropractor who they had never worked with and in hindsight was an absolute jerk and lied about my treatment and prognosis. I felt very little support from this law office and there is absolutely no way I would use them again.

My first two attorneys sent me to treatment (peachtree orthopedics, benchmark) only to get rejected twice. I called in and complained about the two attorneys. Now I'm on the third attorney and hopefully they don't send a 4th attorney. I finished treatment months ago and still haven't filled out a loss wage form.

Not sure where to begin... This is by far the most heartless, unethical attorney we ever worked with. Contacted this office several years ago due to an unfortunate case of wrongful charges by the local police. We were assured by Manal that once we pay the sum of $7500 upfront then we will be fully covered for any legal representation including court trial appearances, etc.
Our case turned out to be so minor and unworthy of prosecution that the district court simply dropped all the charges and therefore Manal had absolutely NOTHING to do or follow up. When we politely asked if a portion of our advance payment may be refunded given how there was NOTHING for the firm to do, we were given a very strong rejection. We accepted that as the price to be paid for our naivety but what really made the experience worse and even more painful than the wrongful police case was how this attorney didn't even bother with any follow up with the local district court to ensure clearance of records (the very bare minimum any attorney is supposed to do)!
Again, we had to be the one to remind the office that after 5 years we were still waiting for an update. Even then it took several more months before Manal bothered to pick up the phone and make any inquiries....I really do not know if this is typical of this office or perhaps such work is beyond their skill set.
We feel so ripped off by this attorney that we find ourself obligated to warn others..... Please do NOT make our mistake and provide any advance payments to this firm!!! This low profile "very inactive" attorney will happily accept your case and your money and then provide zero service in return!

I have had not so great experiences in the past with attorneys in my divorce/custody case. Kimi was as breath of fresh air. She was very communicative and answered all of my questions. This is seemingly so simple but apparently other attorneys have issues with this. We were able to get everything signed and in motion extremely quickly. I retained Mrs. Ragole as my attorney and she was a life saver! Each time I needed to speak with Mrs. Ragole I was able to get in touch with her and she generously took the time to explain the details of my case.
When we went to court she presented all the evidence clearly and effectively. There were no surprises for me, but she did catch the opposing side off guard in court, which worked in my favor! She is more than fair and doesn't take sh*t from the opposing side!
Throughout my case Mrs. Ragole was fair and honest. I knew exactly what I was paying for, had a great outcome in court, and would definitely recommend her to anyone in the future! She is DEFINITELY WORTH IT if you are having legal troubles!

This attorney with no office address other than her car charged me $13,000
for an uncontested divorce involving no children....no real estate....no monies....no pensions....
no automobiles....no nothing.....not even dogs, pets or rabbits. My wife's attorney was $1500.
If that isn't enough...she called me 30 days after the divorce and said..."guess what"? I could only guess.
I found another $2000 in billable hours I forgot to charge you.

If I can Rate 0 I would, worst Abogado ever the paralegals there never respond to phone calls or emails or messages so I have no choice but to come in unannounced and every time Mariam our paralegal never has appointments and is able to attend us yet she can’t answer calls or emails… okay… and when I go she loves to promise everything is okay and asks to bring in Countless numbers of all types of paper work
it’s been 2 years now yet they are quick to ask for payment but they cannot even communicate. It’s insulting when I have to come in and be told that I should call for appointment. Truly pathetic service. Unprofessional. I did tell Mariam about my concerns but she always has an excuse

Basados en una referencia se contrato los servicios del Abogado Daniel Ortiz y definitivamente no fue ni es buena, al contrario, considero que no hubo el profesionalismo que amerito el caso, básicamente el caso se trató de obtener la residencia para mi hermana, desde el inicio Daniel indicó que aplicaba al 100% y la probabilidad de éxito es alta.
La falta de asistencia legal al caso de mi hermana por parte de Daniel fue notable, a ello sumo la falta de seriedad de su palabra al establecer y mucho más al cumplir acuerdos que hemos quedado, ejemplo, se solicitó que nos muestre el borrador de respuesta para la apelación al caso de mi hermana, les comento que hasta el día de hoy no hizo, la falta de oportunidad y seriedad de Daniel motivo a que migracion rechace el pedido solicitado.
Creo que cada caso es un mundo diferente y sobre todo al cliente se debe tratar con la prolijidad que es, no evadirlos ni mucho menos cumplir la palabra.
Tengo una mala experiencia con el abogado que hemos citado y no puedo dar buenas referencias más puedo decir mi malestar del tiempo perdido, las expectativas no cumplidas por Daniel y el dinero que hemos invertido.
Su profesionalismo deja mucho por desear para nada recomendable

David talked me into paying by PayPal friend for he wouldn't have to pay taxes on it. I hesitated but did it not really comfortable about it. Since he received my money. I received no substantial response, work , help with my issues. I asked for a refund. He stated he would have his assistant send me a check. I never seen it to this day 4 months later as of 1/20/2024. The person that recommended him. David went as far ,and lied to her saying he was going to send my check. Now he doesn't even lie to me just ignores me. Lawyer that can't be trusted to perform services and take tax free money from clients shouldn't be aloud to practice law. Potential clients beware David E Baum is a crook. Takes your Money and dumps you. I got the proof. I am not lying!!

My divorce was complicated and thought I found the best Attorney to represent me. After a year and going against my other attorneys advise this man did not have me, his client’s best interest in mind. He talked a very good game but when it come time to deliver and over $20k later he said he could no longer represent me.
I wished I would have taken this man serious when he stated I was his "retirement fund". I found another attorney who took my case and was able to successfully finalize my divorce for only $5k and saved me $77k from Mr. Weissman’s suggested offer. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere unless you would like to fund Mr. Weissman’s retirement fund.

Daniel knows what he's doing. It doesn't make sense to pay hundreds more than you have to for a bankruptcy, especially because if you're filing for bankruptcy you obviously don't have hundreds to spare.

Handled my child custody case and helped reach a settlement out of court. While reaching a settlement he DISTINCLY told me via phone what the terms currently were between my ex and I. I asked him questions about what certain things in the contracts all meant. In the weeks following the court date I have come to learn that everything he told me WAS A LIE. My ex GOT EVERYTHING HE WANTED while I got NOTHING. Everything, from EVERY Saturday and Sunday visitations (he told me one weekend day once a week was what was agreed on), to lies about back due child support, to straight up fabrications about getting support for July the end of the month and again starting the first in August. Ever since that final court date he has not answered ANY of my calls, texts or emails, and meanwhile I am left thousands of dollars down, nothing to show for it, and my family life in shreds. He was the only lawyer that offered $1200 to represent us (everyone else was a $3000 retainer), so like a fool I chose him to represent us. It seemed he was tired of spending so much time on this case near the end of it. I feel completely duped to have trusted A LAWYER I PAID FOR to translate CONTRACTS AND DOCUMENTS FOR ME. Again, he LIED to me, told me what I wanted to hear, to be done with my case quicker. DO NOT USE THIS LAWYER.

Do what I should have done! Go to the county and look her up. How many cases has she done? Just look. I had to do so much of my own work. She put clauses that were old and out of date. Deborah sent me a letter Nov 1, 2012 that she will no longer represent me in my slip and fall case at Walmart. The statute of limitations was up Dec 31,2012. I could not find a lawyer to represent me due to the time span. Also she would not return any of my paperwork of the doctor, hospital and physical therapy bills. She left me with $16,000 in debt. As a school bus driver, I make $23,000 per year.. She only wants clients that she can make a lot of money off of. The address of Piedmont rd office is not correct. She moved out of there in 2011 . Deborah pays to use their conference room to interview potential clients and pretends to have a office in that building. She is supposed to be of the Morman faith. She lies about that also.
