John did an outstanding job of representing me as a public defender. At a time when I was out of work due to filing for SSDI. Charges were brought against that were false. He was able to bring witness in to testify on my behalf and advise me through the 2 year ordeal. Communication was never an issue. He never once doubted or questioned my innocence.
In the end hearing the Judge give his verdict of not guilt was such a relief. At a time when people can just bring false claim against people and alter their lives in do so. I am thankful that Attorney Pickering was there to represent me.

Denise was the third attorney who represented me, as the Personal Representative, in a highly contested and litigious probate estate that spanned 10 years. Unlike my prior attorneys who had represented me in this case, she was diligent in her representation and I found her to have the highest level of integrity and legal expertise. The case involved multiple beneficiaries, multiple attorneys and contests to the will and through it all Denise was steadfast. I hired Denise after having a poor experience with a lawyer that was recommended through family. My father had passed away without a will and I needed to become the representative of the estate. After waiting 4 months on the other lawyer and taking time off from work to travel to Massachusetts to meet with him I hired Denise. In less than 10 business days she had me appointed as the representative of the estate. I also had to go through probate court for a license to sell my father's home and she handled that process even faster. You always hear stories that Mass probate court is a nightmare but Denise made the process seem easy and seamless (although I am sure she had to jump through hoops to get everything done so quickly). We conducted everything via phone, email and mail. She made a very emotional and stressful process manageable.

I had a minority shareholder working for my company that was just not performing up to our company’s standards and actually blocking its growth. I offered to fairly buy the shareholder out and we came to an agreement and shook hands on it over dinner. A day before the shareholder was to sign she backed out. John Andrews was recommended to me by a trusted adviser of my company, and what a great recommendation it turned out to be. John handled the case perfectly and efficiently negotiating a very fair buyout, without litigation, in a matter of months when these types of situations can easily last years! He handled everything so I could run my company without the distractions these type of situations normally produce. He concisely explained all my options defining the pros and cons of each important decision in a non-legalese way that allowed me to understand them so I could make the important decisions. He was responsive with communications even at night, weekends and holidays. I trust John implicitly. I found John on Lawyers .com and he was the only lawyer to call me back promptly, as I only had 1 day to find a lawyer before my court date. He listened to my problem advised me that i should meet with him that day, due to certain issues i could not and still took my case anyway. I meet John for the first time at the court and I knew right away I hired the right man for the job!!! He told me the good and the bad that could happen and in the end with only one more court appearence my case was over in my favor and I could not be happier with the results!!!!! CASE DISMISSED!!!!

I had reason to need a lawyer not too long ago and John made what could have been a very painful experience into one that I could handle. John went above and beyond to make sure no one else took advantage of me or my situation. I feel that anyone that requires a lawyer should do themselves a favor and hire a lawyer that is very approachable for the client but aggressive when it comes to fighting for his clients rights. Diane handled my divorce from my out-of-state wife, who refused to sign the no-contest action. My wife did not want the divorce but also refused to appear before the judge to ask that the divorce not be granted, or even to sign the papers. Without her signature, the divorce would not be possible. Diane advocated on my behalf with the judge, who awarded me the divorce without my wife's signature. I am grateful for Diane's persistence.

I met Attorney JJ Sears at Salem District Court Holding Cell at a time in my life THAT I JUST ABOUT givin up ON LIFE. Besides my SON being KILLED on August 23th 2014, in Peabody MA. My entire Mother's side of the Family had Convinced my Son's Father that I must of had some thing to do with it. Sure why NOT! Besides the FACT they DIDN'T EVEN KNOW ME, and as for my SON, HE NEVER EXISTED ON BIRTHDAYS, HOLIDAY'S AND EVERY other SPECIAL day's. They're the kind of FAMILY that ONLY CALL'S when they HAVE NO ONE ELSE to BORROW $, or BASICALLY NEVER, pay you back. TALKING TRASH behind your back. No matter HOW MUCH YOU HELP them. A Family inbarisment to all the other people that ACTUALLY WORKS HARD enough to NOT end up JUST LIKE THEM. Besides the once in a while run into,"Hey how's it going" every once in a while, kinda relationship. The night in questioned, Baby Daddy and I were together that entire weekend. Some kinda Father he turned out to be. My Son & I stayed clearly away from the TROUBLED FAMILY members because of the situations & stealing and lying they did. Longest Story in Short.
Jeremy Sears, came to me with Concern, Respectfully agreed some things were not looking right. Attorney Sears, noticed a lot of Extremally Vital Variations and Inconsticies in the Police Report that was Documented just like an open Case that was still being handled in another Court & County,. Identical in the situation being brought forth. After seeing the type of Company I had surrounded myself with, since my son's murder, had also given me an extreme case of, CHRONIC POST TRAUMATIC STRESS DISORDER! (CPTSD) untreated It was seriously running my life with my very own, "SELF DESTRUCTIVE"downwards spiral also not being able to clearly see the realization of the World & people in my life at the time. I was killing myself slowly in due time. The people like my FAMILY & SO CALLED FRIEND'S, were making sure I wouldn't recover from this Traumatic Tragedy, that I clearly had no clue what I was thinking about besides Running away from the very possible people that were involved with my Son's dissmized. I started vigorous counselings, and I got a chance to look at the bigger pictures. He was my only visitor in my extremely short time in DOC. Sear's & his team continued to find me helpful resources towards my situation. Attorney Sear's actually Cared Enough to get me to see what I was doing & I didn't realize how much efforts, unti all Charges were Dropped because, Jeremy Sear's didn't want me to go through any more stress and trauma. I would recommend Sear's to anyone. I believe in Attorney Sear's working hard for people like me, that were lost & the people I relied on fealed to care about my distress, hurt, and pain , during the time I needed support & people that care the most. John and his team took over a case for me that involved a very difficult attorney on the other side. My case was floundering due in large part to bad lawyering by my previous attorney. John is thorough and careful to document everything in a way that reduces the chances of problems down the road. He does not have a combative or emotional practice style (combative is very expensive for you) and will help you to take some of your emotion out out of the process. He is assessable and responsive (and I am short on patients). His hourly rate is on the high side but his billing practices are very reasonable. The saying, "you get what you pay for", is especially true when it comes to lawyers representing you against a party that wants to take as much as they can from you.

Pay him for a bankruptcy in full. Took a while, but didnt have to file after
all. He would never provide a detailed bill of hours worked on my case. I asked him over and over for it. Communicated a few times mostly by email , all of which I kept to send to appropriate agencies. He finally , (after chasing and chasing him) sent me $300. ! 1/10th of what I paid him!! For a case he basically did a credit report on and gave it to secretary. I had to find all debtors and what was owed, etc. I dont know what he did for $2500.!?! But he didnt earn this Money I foolishly gave him. You can do better if you are looking for an honest, good, fair, competent, human being!
