I’ll start by saying that I would 100% recommend Law Offices of Atousa Saei for both Divorce and Child Custody.
My divorce involved a very minor child. During my initial consultation with Atousa, she tempered my expectations and didn’t sugar coat anything. She also briefly discussed how she would approach my case. That’s why I decided to go with her.
Before filing for divorce, I had discussed everything with my ex spouse and we had a verbal agreement for both divorce and child custody. I thought since we were going the amicable route, the whole process would be relatively simple and we would mainly need the lawyers for paperwork. But that changed AS SOON AS I actually filed for divorce.
My ex spouse did multiple really HORRIBLE things. There was a time when I thought I would lose my daughter and had no idea when I would see her next (thankfully I was able to see her pretty soon). Atousa and Hailey were always there by my side and fought really hard for me. They filed all the briefs and paperwork on time. Their strategy was on point.
Although my marriage was short term (less than 4 years), it became EXTREMELY complicated because of my ex spouses action. It took over 2 years to finally get everything done (due to reasons beyond their and court’s control). But I’m EXTREMELY happy with the end result and I have full custody of my daughter as of now (and more importantly she’s safe with me). They put in a lot of effort in all the paperwork and their briefs were beautifully written (extremely detailed and full of substance and on point).
To sum it up:
- Great lawyers (Atousa, Hailey and Shannon) and they really care
- Great team (thanks Alice and Wendy)
- Great acumen and strategy
- They were always by my side
- They were always available and responded quickly
- All paperwork was done in a timely manner
- Great negotiation skills

I would never wish for anyone to go through what I did. But if you are going through a divorce, I would 100% recommend them.

Our story is as unique and tough as everyone else's when dealing with restraining orders. When you need an attorney, finding the right one MAY make all the difference! Our lives, safety and wellbeing on the line, in a process I would never wish onto anyone, I needed help big time! My previous attorney was not a proper fit for us, our case was not high on his priority list and I did not feel he took the time to get us nor our case ready. Sometimes, days would pass before I received a reply to my concerns. I desperately and urgently hunted everywhere I could for a better attorney. Searching thru friends and posts, I found Ms. Saei's TEAM! From the moment I connected with Ms. Saei and Ms. Payne, my gut and my heart felt the care, the understanding and the dedication they were willing to put into our urgent matters. From day one, this TEAM has been nothing short of a miracle! It's not a 1-2 person office, it's a team of dedicated and knowledgeable, experienced attorneys and assistants to help you and your case and let me say, they all support you! I never went more than an hour or two to receive a reply, I never felt like we did not matter. Even knowing that our case could go left or right, I put my trust in this team and I am so glad I did! No attorney can guarantee the outcome, ever! Don't try to cut corners when you have a pressing matter, most of the time, you get what you pay for. When dealing with court and attorneys, a plain Jane cannot compare to what attorneys are made of. I certainly could have waited to write this review until the lawsuit I'm involved in has wrapped up (I'm a defendant). Hopefully that will be in the next couple of months. But I feel compelled to say something at this point because I want to acknowledge that the way Attorney Moss handles things, the way his mind works, and the way things are explained to me, has helped keep my stress level down, and has greatly abated the angst I feel as my court date approaches, three years into a law suit that I should never have been included in. I know that I am in incredibly competent hands with Attorney Moss. But I wanted other people to know that how you're treated during the process makes all the difference.

Some months now after finalizing my divorce I truly realize the expert care I was in with Ms. Baltazar. After interviewing a number of lawyers at the onset, I selected Ms. Baltazar for her professionalism, depth of legal knowledge, and caring manner. I felt then that she had the combination of attributes that would get me through this difficult time. Throughout she was persistent in representing my interest, clearly explaining current and prospective actions needed to arrive at the best outcome for me. She was always careful to fully explain what the law said on key matters and how it was interpreted by the courts. Ms. Baltazar had the ability to take jumbled information, as I'm sure I sometimes babbled on, picking out the salient points and repeating key information back to ensure she had a firm grasp of my responses. She also had the ability and patience to simplify and present legalese in an easy to understand manner so that i could fully consider it. I was involved in a spousal support issue/tax matter with my ex-wife. Ms. Baltazar not only provided excellent advise in the spousal support area, but actually found a case ruling in the tax matter which defended my position and which had been overlooked by my ex wife's attorneys. (And tax law is not even her primary area of practice.) This allowed us to arrange for an out of court settlement that was much to my advantage. Because of her gracious and professional manner she was very pleasant to work with.

I was involved in a very contentious divorce with quite a few moving parts. I worked a lot with Jean Kim and Steven Fernandez. Both Jean and Steven were always professional, extremely helpful and empathetic throughout the case.

I don’t know where I would be without Steve Fernandez. This is not merely a review- some suggestion that endorses the services of Fernandez and Karney. This is more of a testament of gratitude for what he did for me.
First things first: the work of Steve Fernandez is excellent. He is a professional in the highest sense of the word. He obviously has a deep nuanced understanding of family law. He is beyond competent. All of his work was precise, swift, timely, and thorough.
But the true zeal beneath this review comes from the humanity in the way Steve treated me.
When I met Steve Fernandez my life was not in a good place. It is now. I have my life back, and, for the first time in a bit, the future looks bright and exciting. Steve Fernandez gave me a fresh start, brought order back to my life, and stood up for me when no one else would.
And that is the real reason I write this. My life was flipped upside down in the span of a day. My absorbantly wealthy wife used all of the powers at her disposal to bully me and make my life as difficult as possible. It was a daunting situation. But Steve kept me poised, sane, and confident that the way I was being treated was not only immoral, but not legal either. He was right.
So he stood up for me when no one else would. When all other avenues of help disappeared Steve was there- calm, intelligent, a guiding light through the tumultuous and complex process of divorce.

Free advice : Before filing for custody, select your attorney wisely, choose a firm with a strong foundation. Hopefully this helps. Had I initially hired Steven Fernandez, none of this would have happened, had I not hired him I would have never seen our child again as I had come to his firm unable to speak and broken. I'll explain. I am a thirty eight year old man who loves his daughter dearly. I've had a smorgasbord of Family Law Specialist, JNE Commission, overpriced Avvo 10's. Not all of them were to blame for the original event that turned the child custody case that I filed in Los Angeles into a fabricated Hemet case, built by design for over-litigated fee churning fraud... However, said attorneys sure were lazy for the money and were happy to turn a blind eye to the blatant fraud and corruption, while simultaneously extrapolating from me every single penny. Steven Fernandez, who's name is on the letterhead of this firm, was the first person to put the wellbeing of myself and our child ahead of easy money and Steven has done a better job than every single other firm combined. He has earned every single dollar and then some. Fraud, perjury, corruption, stalking, extortion, legal kidnapping, private investigators, investigative journalists, you name it, from Malibu to Hemet, we have been through it. Again, had I initially hired Steven Fernandez, absolutely none of this would have happened. Steve has the guts and good nature to run a deep roster of gifted professionals. Steven is smart, ethical and everything that one would hope their own children would grow up to be. Every attorney at this firm is a consummate professional and gifted in their own right. I believe the latter is a prerequisite for being employed by Steven, as Mr. Fernandez is highly intelligent, yet still he is a respectable humble man. Steven and his firm are hands down some of the most compassionate skilled litigators alive and excellent human beings.

It is easy to dismiss a 'perfect' review, but my results were what I needed and not over the top in fees or drama. I employed Ms. Fruchtman to intervene on an employment issue that had be washed over by previous attorneys as too insignificant or politically charged in the non-profit sector. My concerns were taken to heart, letters written, conversations had, and in the end, that is what I wanted. I did not want to go to court or sue over a sexual harassment claim. I wanted to be heard and apologized to by the employer. I wanted the perpetrator fired. I wanted them to acknowledge that they were wrong and that I was still watching them to prevent future misdeeds. They were scared. They listened. I was heard. Finally, I was able to sleep again. The perpetrator was 'retired' and women will be safe at that location. I owe that to her calm and relentless professional pursuit of the truth. They listened. That's what I needed. No court, no drama, just a good result for everyone.

I had a very difficult divorce case that required very delicate and knowledgeable approach to handling all the obstacles. My ex husband has mental issues and not an honest person, the case was very difficult and it lasted for 2 years.

Mr. Rounds came through for me in a variety of cases, he was able to get a multiple count traffic ticket dismissed, and when I again asked for his services, he also assisted me in my DUI case that was much more extensive than I had known at the time of my arrest. It was simplified and charges were dropped while others were reduced. I appreciated his thorough communication with me on my cases, which was something I had heard many lawyers in this city did not practice. I had a truly difficult divorce case and Linda was an amazing attorney in every way. Avi was great in helping us get our earnest money deposit back. We cancelled the escrow due to inspection contingency, but the sellers refused to return our money and lawyered up. I am very disappointed really about the whole Experience. I went to David due to his reviews and all of the things I have read that has wrote about high conflict divorce and fathers rights. I guess I should have gone with don’t judge a book by it’s cover cause the book was horrible! I was charged different amounts for the same initial meeting twice. One charge was 400.00 the second one was 540.00. I was billed 3500.00 for never going to court. One extension for trial was faxed in and a couple phone calls that was it. I could never get him to answer my calls once he took my money. I had to call from my girls friend phone to get him to answer. Don’t waste your time. Those other reviews are fake I heard him joking about a couple of them the one time I did actually have something you might call a meeting(which was the initial meeting). If you want a Attorney that will let your ex spouse just leave with your kids out of state and do nothing this is your guy !!! Even know he promises that he will do his job and do the ex parte and then not answer his phone for days this is your guy!!! I hope you get the picture!!! Other than that nice guy somewhat clean cut, has no style and shouldn’t be a attorney or is just over the hill at this point !

This review has been a long time coming. Over the years I've been struggling with a huge stolen identity issue that has caused a lot of problems and it was affecting my driver’s license status. Dealing with government agencies can be time consuming and draining and you find yourself getting nowhere in a hot second; I was at the end of my rope. A friend referred me to David. Found him to be knowledgeable, friendly, and over all a good attorney to work with. Unlike many other attorneys’ I have worked with he asked his questions, pulled the emotion out of the situation, and got the problem fixed. It wasn’t easy but he was relentless. Thanks Chris Ingram law office for a smooth and straight forward process for my EB1 case. Let me breakdown my experience with them:
1. Intake: detailed breakdown of the categories that I could apply for. Tim was my intake specialist and he answered all the questions I had and gave me confidence to choose this lawfirm to support my case.
2. Onboard: pay the lawyer fees accordingly. I started end of Jan 2024.
3. Paperwork preparation: the team was available to talk to me via conference call appointment a few times. Majority of the communication will be via email. For my case, I focused the energy on 3 categories + Merit. The team shared the template for the recommendation letter for me. However, from data gathering and writing recommendation letter for signing, I had to all do it by myself. Once having all the approved document for each category, then they would proceed with having the category for writing by the legal team. Things happen in series so my entire case was not ready to be shipped out till end of August 2024, so plan your time wisely.
I was hoping the team could be a bit faster, and they got back with additional charges if I wanted to expedite the case filing. I think this was just misunderstanding and later they clarified their intention, which I appreciate the transparent and professional communication language that the entire team upholds. Sometimes the email feels a bit generic and repetitive, but maybe that’s part of professionalism and ensure of constant reminder for your case.
4. Case shipping: they shipped with priority Fedex mail and provide me with a scanned document for the entire package, so I know things are included part of my petition. A tracking number was shared once the case got shipped as well.
I paid for PP, and received the decision notice in time promised.

BEWARE: This attorney has been Disciplined w/actual suspension by the State Bar.
I strongly advise against hiring Edmond Salem as your attorney. My experience with him was extremely disappointing and frustrating. Firstly, he lacks credibility and has a history of disciplinary issues, including an actual suspension from the state bar. This alone should raise red flags for anyone considering his services.
Moreover, he is not honest in his dealings. I found his advice to be misleading, and he failed to provide clear and accurate information about my case. His lack of transparency was concerning and made me question his integrity as a professional.
To make matters worse, Edmond Salem finds ways of overcharging for his services. I was shocked by the exorbitant fees he billed, which were not justified by the quality of his work. It's clear that he prioritizes his financial gain over the best interests of his clients.
In summary, Edmond Salem is an attorney you should avoid. His past disciplinary actions, lack of honesty, and unreasonable fees make him a poor choice for legal representation.
