Steven has been our family's lawyer for about 3 years now, and most recently helped me through a very difficult divorce. He was extremely knowledgeable and exemplified compassion, understanding, and empathy the entire way through.
His no-nonsense attitude extended to knowing full well how to handle the curveballs of my ex-partner and her attorney, negotiations regarding alimony, and explained what to expect the whole way through.

I could not have had a better attorney for my divorce case. He wasn’t my first attorney for the divorce . Many times things were falling apart with my original council, who had poor ethics and bled so much of my finances running me in the ground with little done. This is when I and hired mr shumer who took the challenge when my case was a mess. He quickly pulled everything together and tied up every loose string in record timing. My only regret is not finding him first! He was recommended by a friend of mine, who also spoke very high of him. There is much more I can go on to explain what a god send he was for me, and I wouldn’t be where I am today if it wasn’t for him. He was always honest, put me at ease with his guidance , updated me promptly with any developments, and truely seemed to care. And was very generous with his billing which was another plus ! Haha. Sometimes I feel he cut himself short for being so generous . What else can I say, he was my guardian angle.

David handled our bankruptcy, achieving the best outcome imaginable for an otherwise miserable situation. He clearly answered our questions, even proposed ideas that we hadn't thought of, which greatly benefited us in the end. He was straightforward and honest - no phony 'sympathy,' etc. Even the one time he chastised us (for showing up late to a hearing), he was obviously distraught because he didn't want US to suffer the consequences, i.e., the delay in resolution of our case. He truly took our case personally, which was really a bonus, compared to all the other things he did right (being on-time with all filings and appearances, drafting professional documentation, etc.), which should just be expected.
Based on our experience, I feel confident highly recommending David for any legal work, not just bankruptcy.

Unlike Per Diem Services Inc which significantly over charges (and has tried to rip me off a few times), ZR is professional, reasonably priced, and reliable. Their online platform is very easy to use and makes ordering services far easier and seamless than its competitors.

They committed malfeasance on two cases our office referred them. In one case, the attorney was late and the motion was granted on default. We had to beg them for an affidavit, and luckily the default was vacated. After not learning our lesson, we referred another case in which we gave them specific instructions which the covering attorney ignored. Having failed to advise the Court of our instructions the case was dismissed. Requiring a motion to restore. On this basis, I would not recommend this business.
