I don't give a lot of services 5 stars because, quite honestly, no one is perfect but, JEB nearly is! He is very personable (an admirable quality in an attorney), caring and knows his stuff. If you would like to essentially throw away $4000.00 Hire a lawyer from this law firm.
March 2023 I hired Anne m kindling To represent me for an ALLEGATION that I may have smoked weed. Mind you there was literally no tangible evidence against me except for he said she said. Anne told me that she would gladly represent me And that her fee was a couple hundred dollars an hour. I assumed with the fee that high that she was a good lawyer and that she was going to be able to get things done. Anne M Kindling was probably one of the biggest disappointments in 2024.
Instead of her being a lawyer and defending me Or even helping me, at best she was a just a mediator between me and the board of health.
After months of back and forth, And having anne actually just disappearing off of the face of the map for a while. Like I hadn’t heard from her for over a month. Then she decided one day to send me a bill for another $1300 after going missing.
After receiving that, I started to let Ann know that she was under performing and that I was extremely unhappy with her “work”.
She will send you bills for asinine amounts without proof that she even did any of that work. Her communication Is unacceptable for that amount of money you’re going to be spending.
Anne m kindling also talked about the possibility of taking it to trial If they ended up trying to suspend my license. Get ready, Her fee was gonna be 30-$50,000 For that!!!! I would never in 1000 years hire her to represent ANYTHING.
If she couldn’t even help me for a “he said, she said situation” With no tangible proof, police report anything, I promise she does not have the skill and will not be able to help you!
She has no backbone or is not the shark lawyer that you’re gonna want trying to fight A case Or in My situation an allegation!
I’m telling you right now you will be wasting your money if you hire her, This law firm clearly does not hire the lawyers that you are looking for!
Obviously, by the time that I received another $1300 bill, After already paying a $3500 retainer fee for her, not doing really any work or helping me at all. Mind you, I still had to pay for my own drug test and evaluations she recommended!!!!
And at this point Anne should really be arrested for robbing people because that’s exactly what she did to me!!!
Once again, after ripping into her for her under performance and her lack of help, she then cut the bill down to $500. So after I paid that bill, I wanted to make sure I wrote a review to warn other people!!! Frankly, there shouldn’t have been a bill. I should’ve gotten a refund. She did little to no work. At the end of the day, I was the one that had this resolved. I sent a final email to the two parties to end it all and guess what everything is put to bed. I never even needed that lawyer in the first place she gave me false information To try and get business!!!
Anyone that wants more information I will gladly share every email of communication. I have nothing to hide Please do not waste your money with this law firm.

I had an awful experience with my first divorce lawyer (his horrible communication and lack of turning things in that I had sent him the 8 or so months I had him) before hiring Kylee Tokoi with JHC. I just wish I would have hired them in the first place, more than likely I would have had a better outcome but with all that happened I’m very happy with how things went once I hired them! Ms. Freund represented my exwife in a dissolution proceeding . Ms. Freund erroneously filed financial court documents claiming that my ex-spouse only had income from one job. The difference in our incomes with one job resulted in maintance due to her for several hundreds of dollars a month for approximately 2 and half years. During the course of the divorce, my ex-spouse confirmed in writing that she had disclosed and provided Ms. Freund the information for TWO jobs. The income earned from this 2nd job was so significant that it eliminated the requirement for me to pay maintaince. A request for an investigation and a complaint against Ms. Freund is in the process of being filed with the proper governing agencies ( Kansas State Bar etc) to ascertain the details, reason and cause of this ommission.

Jennifer Smith was appointed to the case to represent the children. Despite giving her a police report where mother admitted to doing harm and numerous other strong evidence she wrote a bias report and intentionally omitted this evidence.
But because she didn't take the stand she can't be questioned about her ethics on the case. (Sarcastic) Im sorry i didn't have another $20k to take it to trial to question you about your ethics.
Now the kids have been removed from extra curricular activities by the offending parent. The kids were hurt by this attorney failure to represent them and withhold evidence from the court.

I had a lawyer representing my case for the last two or so months, he has done absolutely nothing for me. Then he emailed me out of the blue saying “he didn’t work for that law firm anymore, that they would assign me a new lawyer.” It has been almost three weeks since then, and I have yet to hear from my new lawyer. They keep taking my money though!!! I have payed this law firm so much money, and have had no help. They asked for a hard drive of all the videos/evidence, that I had, I payed $80 for that hard drive, turned it in, and I got an email almost instantly saying they couldn’t open it. I asked why, what was the problem, and have heard nothing back. I have called my new lawyers office multiple times now, always having to leave a message. I have yet to get a email, call, or text back. This is absolutely outrageous, I am 22yrs old and a single mother. I don’t have money to keep paying this law firm, to do nothing for me. I am so disappointed, I don’t know how anyone has had a good experience with them.

It will be four weeks Monday since CB was arrested for failure to obey lawful order. Aug 31 was a scheduled hearing and the jail did not take him and according to his family his name was called and he nor lawyer there. Cecelia was rude when I called her akd said he has court Sept 28th. To this date thwre has been no first appearance, no contact with suspect, and no discovery or even an explanation of charhes in Pottawatomie Prairie band court. Cecelia has ignored her oath and rights due to inmate CB.

I was actually accepted and awarded a lawyer. We spoken on the phone even… I gave him very detailed information about my divorce case he said everything looked fine all to send me a letter Monday saying they changed their minds and are only gonna give me advice on how to file. That was definitely detrimental and not what I wanted to hear after telling me I had representation. Men have to prove they’re worthy to have their own kids even when they are present and it shouldn’t be that way!!!!

Heather failed to file appropriate paperwork, canceled multiple court hearings without advising me or opposing counsel, never once returned emails or phone calls. After I fired her she kept my full retainer, after working on my case for only 3 hours. Horrible experience to say the least!
