I called and was astonished with the fact I got through to an actual person. I have reached out to many other lawyers offices with no luck. I was given amazing advice from William Pettersen for a case. Even though he wasn't able to take my case at this time; I was offered detailed information, what specifics of the law I need to know about, recommended other attorneys, and also gave me notes to pass along for a more professional reference. Dropped my case last day of Physical Therapy. Filed an ethics complaint with the Vermont Bar. Racked up thousands in medical bills after her partner told me to seek treatment. Would not recommend. Minimized my injuries and turned out to be serious. Dismissed me as a "whippy". My reply to the "Owner Response": Every opportunity was granted to Erin for her to make this right. Her comment below is only a futile attempt at damage control for Google Reviews. She should not be able to practice law in Vermont or anywhere else. Injured parties that went through what I had to go through is beyond abhorrent. Most arrogant attorney I have ever worked with. You can reach out to me and finish your work you were engaged to finish and waive fees. Following up with Vermont Bar to see what penalties were imposed.

My wife and I were in an all-of-a-sudden horrible and complex situation through no fault of our own (which I won’t be getting into here). We exhausted several family and friend recommendations for legal counsel in this area but it seemed that no one could/would help with our case. Then, after seeing the high Google review ratings, we decided to take a chance on MDR who were at least willing to meet with me. About five minutes into the meeting, realizing the complexity of the situation, the guy I was meeting with says, “I think I need to get my boss.” Enter Andy…
Within one hour I walked out with a cohesive plan of action, and (despite MONTHS of research on my own) a hundred times more understanding of the legal circumstances we were in.
Andy ended up taking over our case and delivered like you read about.
I can’t say enough good things about Andy. The dude saved our bacon when we needed it most. I hired James for an unusual case and he was superb. He listened...REALLY listened, then he asked questions, presented multiple options and allowed me to make the decision on the course of action. Once I did, he methodically prepared prior to court. He compiled evidence, established timelines and culled the information according to how pertinent and impactful it would be. In court he was articulate and firm without being overly aggressive. During cross examination he showed how, when and where the plaintiff had lied. I received an outcome beyond what I hoped for. While the circumstances of hiring James were tough, his work was beyond reproach. I highly recommend him.

Kienan was my attorney when I came forward about the sexual abuse that I experienced in graduate school. The perpetrator was a faculty member at a nationally acclaimed university who was also teaching at an elite boarding school. Kienan began working with me at the beginning of the #metoo movement, when the process of exposing abusers felt like largely uncharted territory. I had been in contact with other attorneys who prioritized financial gain over my healing process and even threatened to expose my identity when I wasn’t yet ready. In contrast, Kienan approached my case with the highest levels of professionalism and respect. His strong legal acumen, passion for justice, and regard for my healing process as a survivor made me feel safe and confident in an otherwise intimidating situation. Kienan and I worked together over the course of a year and a half, at the pace I needed to go in order to avoid retraumatization. He was always available to answer my questions and offer support. Kienan represented me during a really intense custody disagreement between me and my son's father. A friend of mine who previously worked with Kienan recommended him to me, and I couldn't be more grateful. Kienan was professional, knowledgeable and skillful. Not only is he masterful with his knowledge of the law, his people skills will win over any judge's favor due to his courteousness, graciousness, and humility. My son's father was attempting to win full custody, but thanks to Kienan hard work, attention to detail and experience, I was the one who was granted full custody of my son. On top of Kienan's impressive work ethic, he's simply a pleasure to work with. He was always realnwith me yet respectful. He displayed great deals of empathy for me while I was dealing with this really difficult situation. I was in need of a lawyer for legal representation during a divorce and family court. What I got was someone that treated me as a friend that seemed to have know me forever, Austin truly has his clients best interests at heart, and he will fight for you as if you were part of his family. I have hired Mr. gray on a few occasions that ranged from a simple Quick Claim Deed so I could legally add my new wife onto a property I had previously owned before marriage, to navigating through an eviction process in order to have a tenant removed from my rental property.
Each time I contacted and worked with Mr. Gray I found him to be very curious and helpful in navigating the legal system. I also found Mr. Gray to be quite clear with explaining the options as well as focused on what the desired outcome was while reassuring me that he would handle the tough stuff.

Nikki is one of the best if not the best. Told her multiple times she should be earning two salaries, lawyer's and psychologist's. I got such a deal! Having to go through a situation that requires family law is stressful. I used Windham law for a child abuse case about 6 years ago. I paid over $30,000 to Windham law. Sadly my attorney(who was wonderful) passed away before the final agreement was made. I explained that I truly couldn't afford anymore legal fees. It ended up being $600...for an agreement that I typed and they transferred and filed (crazy right). I guess all lawyers are greedy but they take the cake! Make sure you can afford to defend your children!!!!!

Closed my house with them which was subpar - got a call from the real estate manager the night before closing asking where the wire is after I sent it 24 hours prior (ended up fine - it was there). Then I ask for a consultation a month or so later on a different topic & get refused any service. Wouldn't do anything with them again - poor performance all around.

These folks were fantastic until they weren't. They overlooked at close a Homestead Property Tax refund that resulted in thousands of dollars lost. Vermont statutes state these refunds go to the sellers. A simple escrow fund would have taken care of this. It took months to get answers and several flippant remarks along the way. There advice given was simply to sue the new buyers or complete a withdrawal which would have doubled the $ lost. They didn't even provide a link on how to sue if I had chosen that path. (not) They took absolutely zero responsibility for their oversight and didn't so much as offer and apology for their obvious mistake. Sadly , I would give them negative 5 stars based on my experience.

She did see me through my divorce, and adequately represented me, but in future issues, I would look elsewhere. I found her to be disorganized, distracted and hard to get in touch with. I felt I had to do a lot of the work myself, and to prod her on many items. She was a realist, and was honest and frank with me. Response time was not a plus with her, but again, she got the job done and did it adequately.
