I’ve been using Paul Ferns for several years now. Originally I had a different lawyer and he wasn’t on top of my case. I soon after had switched to Paul and haven’t had another attorney since. He has helped in numerous car accident cases and a few driving violation cases as well. He also has given advice on family issues and legalities of different situations I was in need of help with. I’ve always left his office happy and extremely satisfied with the results. He’s answered every question I’ve had an has been very attentive to my cases. He’s a breath of fresh air and very professional. Definitely has a way of making you feel comfortable. Breaks down all aspects of the cases I’ve presented to him and which ways we are able to go. Absolutely recommend Paul for all of your legal needs. He’s knowledgeable in many areas of law which is a plus is any great attorney!!

I had a particularly complicated Divorce that had a house, assets, debt and other considerations that needed an experienced Lawyer that could navigate the Rhode Island legal system quickly and easily. Attorney Ferns not only made the whole process easy but we were able to come to an agreement with my spouse and get a judgement much faster than I anticipated. With over 24 years experience he really understands the law and is a great negotiator. I can not recommend Paul Ferns enough if you need his services. He will get things done and will ensure that you get a fast and fair judgement.

I am an out of state guy who needed a traffic issue addressed...a 30 year old traffic issue....My home state was not going to renew my license because of an unpaid ticket from 1987 ...I figured it was going to take months...because in dealing with the DMV.... I already had over 2 months of waiting. I called Paul on a Friday issue was taken care of by the following Wed including the documentation which was in my files by Wed afternoon. Very positive customer service experience.

We have been charged unfairly a non-utilization tax for Woonsocket, RI and Carol has helped us fight the cause and have this tax abated. I found myself looking for a divorce lawyer last May and came across Kirschenbaum & Kirschenbaum on the internet. My lawyer was Jesse Nason and he was fantastic!! There were many delays due to my ex-husband and Jesse always called me with updates and explained exactly what was going on in layman's terms. What I was most impressed with was that Jesse either answered my calls right away or got back to me the same day with answers to the many questions I had. When I was served with divorce papers I did not know where to turn . I had never been through anything like this . I called a few lawyers but didn’t feel comfortable. I used a lawyer matching service and found Jeff . I went for a meeting and left with a lawyer. It was the best decision I made .
Jeff is very good at what he does . He keep me informed through the whole process and was there whenever I needed him .His knowledge and desire to fight for me we evident . When I wavered about anything he was right there to support me.
In the end the divorce settlement was better than I could have imagined .
I would recommend Jeff to anyone needing a lawyer.

Is extremely unresponsive, uninformative and doesn't seem to want to help at all. Literally waits until you pay him then pretty much goes completely mute. Leaves you wondering if he is even representing your case half of the time. Does not answer emails, text or calls and I have even had him tell us we had court the day OF court which is extremely unprofessional. I do not recommend him at all.

Terrible experience. (Too much to list on this review).
During a Divorce and in Remission he expressed, no regard after paid. Saw him for 5 minutes during the whole process. Does not care.
Difficult to get a hold of, much of the work, was self done, because he had no reliability.
Save your money and leave it to the professionals.
Don't recommend. There's other great lawyers that agree. I should have checked all platforms for reviews the real reviews and much alike! Theres others who felt the same way, he took the money and disappeared. I did everything in regards to my case.
If the client had been heard, and the right laws applied, things would have been different. A lawyer that took the money and ran. There's plenty of correspondence to support this statement. I had to fire him at 1 point. Only then, he decided to finalize my divorce, once I was moving out of state for my safety, so he wouldn't have to refund me. I had another Attorney check my case and a lot could have been done. Very poor practice, your clients are your paycheck so respect them!

First off Chris was the second attorney I hired. I want to State this so you understand I did have a taste of a different Law Firm prior to interacting with Chris. Chris is a bulldog in court I say this without meaning he is outlandish or over the top. At some point Chris was going against three other attorneys and completely mopped the floor with them. Another attorney in this office was recommended. Unfortunately, he was not taking new clients. I settled for Damian Nash. It proved to be a terrible decision. The hallmark of an effective attorney is excellent communication skills between the attorney, his staff, and his clients. An attorney should keep clients updated on all developments, and thoroughly explain legal terms and the processes to ensure they are understood. Equally important is having competent, responsible, and dependable office staff who will forward all forms of communication to the attorney. All of these were blatantly lacking. Important emails were overlooked and not sent to the attorney. The attorney met my inquiry regarding these issues with anger and a defensive attitude. Damian Nash was unresponsive, uncommunicative, and displayed an unprofessional response to my concerns. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE. I am a businesswoman who treats clients with the respect they deserve. He needs to do the same!!!

The experience that he has made him a respected man with prosecutors as well as his clients all you have to do is look up his past and find out that he is the best lawyer in New England. Took CASH as the retainer. He said to give him more as it lessens the amount potentially available to the ex wife. Give back the excess at the end. Well, once he had the cash it was all gone!!! Padded the expenses. Took 20K and did nothing for it. Then asked for another 5k to finish....... Are you kidding me, a thief amongst lawyers. Tried to get in touch with him when the ex came to try and empty the house I just bought again.... he was no where to be found!!! Terrible job, thief and really classless. I guess CASH taints even lawyers who are supposed to be protecting you.

Family Court is a dynamic all its own. You never know what you are going to get. Divorce is an emotional roller coaster. I have never met a more empathetic person who really understood what I was going through. Facing these issues is stressful enough When you have an attorney who actually has your back you feel like you can get through it. He is accessible 24 hours a day and his staff are very courteous and respectful. He always returns my emails calls and texts, even on the weekend.
When the divorce was finalized, I felt like I was very well represented by Sangiovanni.
