We hired Richard Rice to represent our daughter in a Misdemeanor Charge for driving without insurance. While this type of defense work is well short of the types of defense Richard typically handles he accepted the work after we explained that any finding against our daughter could adversely affecther teaching career and credentials. Richard and his firm were with our daughter every step of the way offering support and confidence that the charges could be dropped because she had inadvertently failed to transfer the insurance coverage after purchasing a new car several months earlier. He was able to have the charge dismissed securing her future and receiving her of a very stressful situation. The work was professional and expedient with minimal disruption to her own work as a teacher.

In late August I was unexpectedly pulled, which ultimately led to criminal charges that could have jeopardized my career. Weintraub & Alper were wonderful helping me with my case. From my first conversation with Howard, I knew he was very experienced and knowledgeable and would be great to work with. Have you ever seen a corrupt cop get torn to shreds on the stand? I watched Will Moran absolutely destroy three cops in a row without breaking a sweat, leaving the prosecutor with nothing but innuendo and conjecture to use against me. He pushed hard during a two year legal battle and not only succeeded in getting my charges dismissed, but had the court grant me immunity to prosecution. He is truly a champion for the falsely accused.

Megan was simply amazing! She was responsive to our questions and concerns regarding our son's IEP not being followed properly. She worked alongside us to formulate a plan before the meeting, and spoke intelligently about laws and procedures during the meeting. Sarah is definitely a 5star attorney, I have a federal case out of the southern district of Georgia. She did my direct appeal and oral arguments. We did not win, she fought tooth and nail through the entire process. Her brief allowed me to have a great foundation for the Supreme Court (acquitted conduct), (trial punishment). Without her knowledge of the law and hard work I would never have been able to make it through this corruption of the government. Our son was arrested by the Atlanta PD one evening in August 2019. I got a call at home at 1 am from the University Dean telling me he was in the Fulton County jail and had been charged with a felony. My son's entire future, reputation and education was at stake and we had no details of the events that led up to his arrest. After searching online for the best defense attorney I could find, I contacted Mr Weintraub at 7 am the following morning and he immediately went into action. He was able to get my son released the following day on a signature bond so that he would not miss any more classes. Over the next several weeks, Mr Weintraub and his fantastic private investigator gathered exculpatory evidence, interviewed witnesses and expertly navigated the case through the court system. Before the end of the year he was able to have the case entirely dismissed. I have no hesitation in recommending Howard Weintraub as a criminal defense attorney and cannot imagine what might have happened to our son if I had not made the call.

Juitt Jackson very unprofessional they don’t communicate with you. I had court my attorney didn’t show up no one answered the phone. I believe this is a scam they took my money and didn’t offer service to me. I had to represent myself in court, and I was charged $5,500 dollars upfront. The judge have tried calling and sending emails no response I have been try to email and call. They are bad business never use Juitt Jackson law firm

I met Thomas C Woodridge through the Georgia Bar Association. He was one of the attorneys referred to me by the Georgia Bar Association and dealing with people with disability on the American Disability Act. After talking with him by phone, we met to discuss my case in his office, and I’m glad we did. I remember him telling me I had a case, and I’m so happy he took it. I had never seen an attorney like him who fought so hard and did the things that he did for me, A person that’s dyslexic, and I thank God that I had the opportunity to meet him when my back was up against the wall. During the deposition, it would be like fireworks to see how he had the city up against the rope, how he was chewing them up and spitting them out, and noticed that he did it from his heart. On a scale from 0 to 10, I will give him 10, but I will go back and borrow the zero, put it with the 10, and make it 100. That’s how good he is. I wish he were still here in Georgia practice instead of North Carolina because he is one of the best.

Nick worked with Paul Bartels on our cases. They really went the extra mile in our case. We hired them for a drug / controlled substances case. Well, it was more like three different cases in two different counties, including a probation violation case, a new controlled substances violation case, and a different controlled substances case (where a gun was also found, though it wasn't his, but the DA might have said who knows what). So, this was an extremely difficult situation, with three felonies in 2 counties all being processed at the same time! It took a lot of juggling! And on top of all that, our goal was to get the person into rehab, in order to get better, versus just to have time in jail. They had so much work to do to make this happen, helping to identify rehabs that the judge would approve, that the probation officer would approve, that the DA would approve. Nick and Paul were professional, courteous, and hard working. We are very appreciative.

I was in a bad situation at one point in my life, the Federal Government brought criminal action against me and i knew i had to be accountable for my action. I was looking for a good lawyer who specialized in criminal law, one who has professional experience in a court room and could give me good advice on what i needed to do. When I first contacted Roger, he was not my attorney but gave me more of his time and personal assistance than anyone else had. He kept me informed of what was going on in my case and even assisted in contacting the attorney for my son and informed me of what could happen in his case. He gives 110% to assist his clients and even those who are not or may not be a client. In my experience this is very unusual for an attorney. When we went to court, the judges office notified him that day we were to be in court as soon as we could get there. He cancelled everything else he had to be in court with me.
He did everything he could to assist me and presented a very convincing case for me.

Carter is an outstanding and passionate attorney. I was arrested a couple years back on Halloween at a road block by State Patrol for a "DUI" after passing all the field sobriety tests. I was driving a friend home, but State Patrol arrested me anyway. I contacted Carter after I was bailed out. He quickly took my case, reviewed the evidence, police tapes, and was determined to prove I was truly innocent and should not have been arrested that night. My case was presented at the state level where they agreed I was not to be charged with a DUI due to the lack of evidence. Since the case was brought to the state court, Carter was able to arrange a plea bargain to reduce to reckless driving with no probation or nonsense alcohol and drug evaluation/classes.
Carter fought for my case and was able to make the best of the situation and prove me innocent. The case took multiple years to close, however, he kept me informed of what was happening and what to expect the entire time. He is patient and will answer any questions you have and fight for what you. I highly recommend Carter. He is very passionate about his job and is truly on the defendants side.

A few months ago I was arrested on several serious charges. After initially consulting with Carter, I decided he would be the best person to represent me based on his clear understanding of my situation, and his ability to explain what was happening in layman's terms. I’m pretty ignorant when it comes to legal processes, but Carter was very patient in explaining my options to me, and answered all of my questions completely - regardless of how silly or paranoid they were. He was attentive and professional through the entire process, which reassured me I had made the right decision in hiring him. Ultimately, Carter was able to negotiate a reasonable plea agreement with the prosecutor, which was really the best possible outcome for my case.
