We hired Richard Rice to represent our daughter in a Misdemeanor Charge for driving without insurance. While this type of defense work is well short of the types of defense Richard typically handles he accepted the work after we explained that any finding against our daughter could adversely affecther teaching career and credentials. Richard and his firm were with our daughter every step of the way offering support and confidence that the charges could be dropped because she had inadvertently failed to transfer the insurance coverage after purchasing a new car several months earlier. He was able to have the charge dismissed securing her future and receiving her of a very stressful situation. The work was professional and expedient with minimal disruption to her own work as a teacher.

In late August I was unexpectedly pulled, which ultimately led to criminal charges that could have jeopardized my career. I had a very complex divorce case that was a complete mess. All of the people I worked with were amazing! i hired this firm to represent my son in a dui/ hit an run clayton county case, all i can say is you can't go wrong with this firm he ended up with a wrecked driving conviction with a fine less than $500 and 40 hours community service from the municipal court in downtown jonesboro the first atty i hired stole $600 from me and didn't even show up for first appearance so be careful read reviews make sure they have a real office. But back to Thomas R. Barton Firm hire these guys if you want the best representation you can get, they do care it's not just about the money Love Love Love these guys !!!

Have you ever seen a corrupt cop get torn to shreds on the stand? I watched Will Moran absolutely destroy three cops in a row without breaking a sweat, leaving the prosecutor with nothing but innuendo and conjecture to use against me. He pushed hard during a two year legal battle and not only succeeded in getting my charges dismissed, but had the court grant me immunity to prosecution. I had a felony charge. I have never been in a mess like that in my over 3 decades of life. Anyway, I was charged for theft. I have never met or spoken directly or indirectly with the “supposed” victim. I called a lot of law firms, although they were willing to “help” me but some things just felt notright - like an attorney telling me “I will help you get a plea deal.”
Anyway, my search led me to Jennifer of Ozer Law Firm. My first contact with her was the best first experience of peace I had when talking to a defense attorney. She made me calm and let me know that she will help me.
Guys, she did! The case was dismissed this morning.
If I ever need an attorney again in that State, she is definitely my go to attorney for hire, first!

Megan was simply amazing! She was responsive to our questions and concerns regarding our son's IEP not being followed properly. She worked alongside us to formulate a plan before the meeting, and spoke intelligently about laws and procedures during the meeting. Words can't express the amount of gratitude I have for Mr. Burkhalter. He helped me out when I was at my lowest and passed no judgement. He did everything he said he would do plus more. He stuck it out with me the entire 2½ years it took to resolve the case and not only did he help me avoid 10 years in prison I received probation and some fines. Every lawyer I came across in my time of need was only interested in money the first thing he asked was how am doing then said let's get you out of here not to mention he came and saw me on a Sunday and was already working on my case before he arrived. My bond was denied by my initial judge he was able to get me a bond before I even received the court date for them to tell me if they would give me one again. There were a lot of ways things could have went sour but he always stay on the up and up and kept me a good spirits and I'm forever appreciative for it.
