They take on too many cases, promise you the world, and then pressure you to settle. I spent six months in a wheelchair six weeks in a hospital and had to take medicine designed to be taken for a couple of months every day of my life to walk, for an incomplete paralyzation. After everything was said and done I lost $60,000. Catherine, who was my attorney would constantly not return my calls and have her husband call me. When you ask for a copy of your file, they refuse to give it to you. I had written them a good review just to get them to leave me alone as the pressure was relentless. Do yourself a favor and run in the other direction that is if you still can.

I can't say enough great things about them. I had a very serious accident with multiple fractures. They immediately put me at ease. They've been doing this for several years. They have former insurance adjusters, they really know how to deal with insurance companies.
Anna is so knowledgeable & very caring. So patient! She explains everything thoroughly & is very well informed.
She's genuinely concerned with our health & stays in touch for updates. She always responds quickly with emails, etc. They offer guidance with finances & help set you up w advisors. I could go on & on! They're genuinely out to help people & get justice. The office staff are always really friendly & quick to assist.
Any negative connotations about lawyers, are non existent here. Impeccable all around.

Meike is the best! She's intelligent, knowledgeable and compassionate. We hired Mieke to represent my brother who found himself charged in a criminal matter. We were beside ourselves, worrying about the outcome. We had retained a prior attorney who we felt did was not representing him properly, and would have landed him in prison.

TLDR; Martin Litmaer is an excellent attorney who will look for creative ways and fight for your rights to resolve your situation. Hes compassionate, and sees you as a person and not just another case number. His fees are also extremely reasonable give how stressful, disasterous and damaging (financially, mental health, etc.) legal issues can be to one's life, and he understands this. Together we fought a felony charge over the span of 1 year which resulted in the charges being dropped and case dismissed. More below:
I little over a year ago, I received a call from the LAPD notifying me that I was being charged with a felony (for a crime I didn't even commit, it just happened that the law had recently changed without my knowledge and I was found out of compliance).
Prior to consulting Martin, i had a brief interaction with a public defender (AKA public pretender), who was completely unhelpful. I was then referred to Martin through family. After our consultation I immediately hired Martin. He consulted me on the legal process, and together we went to the courthouse to "turn myself in" and clear the warrant (because, I wasn't actually arrested committing a crime). Martin convinced the judge to release me without bail (saving me $4k bail bond fees on an originally set $40k bail). Over the next year, we had a dozen court dates together and multiple phone calls and texts, devising a strategy to resolve this (what I call it, an injustice). Ultimately, after pivoting a couple times and trying a couple strategies, we found one that sticked, worked on that together and the case was dismissed.

I have had several lawyers over the years, from criminal defense to family law. Shaun has always been clear on the expectations of the three cases I have had with him, and bottom line is that he has WON ALL THREE CASES for me. Shaun is always VERY fast with getting back to me through email and text message. One last important issue that makes me give Shaun Khojayan a 5 star rating is that he always answers my questions without eating up my retainer (as long as it is a simple question). lawyers I have had in the past are not about wining my case. The other lawyers I have had are all about eating up my retainer, and I am very grateful to Shaun for not doing this in any of the three cases I have had with him!

Ms. Qassim is a phenomenal attorney, I was facing 10+ years in federal prison, in the federal system cooperating with the government is a big thing and reduces sentences, which this is nothing that i would do. Ms. Qassim never once asked me to jeopardize my integrity to make her job easier ( Mad respect)!!! Once Ms Qassim knew that cooperating was not an option she prepared extremely creative motions and augured for for my freedom. I knew that it was going to be a very hard case and that jail time was emanate. Ms. Qassim spent hours with me going over discovery and showed passion and care! She was always available to speak with, returned calls immediately, very detailed, and made sure that i understood the whole process. During my sentencing she argued to get me the lowest of time on my plea agreement and she did it!!! I will say that she also never tried to just make me plea out, trial was always an option and she made sure that i knew the facts and she never comes sideways, always straight, nothing hidden. Ms Qassim is fierce, intelligent, creative, resourceful, and knows what she is doing. Thru Ms Qassim's hard work i ended up getting less than 4 years!!! I had a newborn that i would be able to actually be with him while he grows, thanks to Ms. Qassim. I know that there are fees for attorneys, I feel though deeply indebted to her because of how everything turned out. Michael Goldstein is by far the best lawyer i’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and beyond grateful he is representing my husband during this awful series of events. He was initially charged with 2 counts of premeditated attempted murder.
