Working with Joe Simons was the best decision I made for my Federal case in California. A process that took over 3 years from start to finish Joe walked me through each process. Constantly working with the prosecutor to get me a better deal all the way down to Probation. I highly recommend the Eskow Law Group for anyone about to involve themselves in a dental practice transition. Working with them was an excellent experience from start to finish. I have an attorney in my family, but decided to go with a dental-specific attorney for purchasing a dental practice. Now after going through the process, I am very glad I did. From the LOI to the APA and P&S all the way through the closing day, the Eskow Group went above and beyond to keep us safe from the many pitfalls in a convoluted transaction like ours.
I met Jon at the Yankee Dental Conference and shortly after found a practice to purchase. I reached out to him and he gave me some great advice to start with, even before signing our engagement letter. Once we started the process of purchasing the practice, we worked closely with Samara Bell, who is an attorney you definitely want on your side. She is sharp, critical, and friendly and will look out for you at every turn. I was especially impressed with their ability to keep everything organized. Our transaction was fairly complex - it involved buying the practice and the real estate under different entities, simultaneously. The seller's legal team was very difficult to work with, but Samara and Jon handled all of these issues with poise. In terms of pricing, their rates are very reasonable and in my opinion, worth every penny. I recommend them to every one of my dental colleagues.

I retained Brian during a time of extreme duress. My son ( who has a mental illness)was charged with some outrageously over inflated and serious crimes. I spent days researching legal resources and read up on legal statutesI had no idea if my son's rights were being violated. He was locked up without bail and his court appointed attorney was just shrugging his shoulders and asking for continuances. Brian took over and immediately began to change the course of disaster. He was amazing and continues to help us clean up the legal entanglements that we have been in because of my sons mental illness. Brian met with him, explained what was happening in terms he could understand. I completely TRUST him to pay attention and continue to fight for Jared's legal rights to live a decent life, free from criminal charges caused by my calls for help for a section 12 Police to the Hospital. Every charge is a result of Law Enforcement's mishandling of him while was is in crisis. I would definitely recommend him.

During the hardest most emotional day of my life Michaela not only fought for me and my rights as a mother, but she gave me the confidence I needed to hold my head high. I walked into family court without a lawyer for over 3 years because I could not afford an attorney. Always leaving the courthouse feeling completely defeated and powerless. But, when I finally got my trial date I realized that I was too emotionally attached to this case to represent myself. So, I hired Michaela. I heard she was the best. I wasn’t sure I even knew what that meant at the time. But after watching her in action I can honestly say that she is absolutely the BEST! She fought as if my daughter was hers. She found evidence to prove my entire case. Evidence that other lawyers didn’t even notice. When it started to feel like I was loosing, she helped me keep my composure. Knowing how emotional this can be she sympathized with me, all while encouraging me and letting me know that it was going to be all right. When it came to court, filing all the right documents, getting evidence in on time, and being prepared for trial I give her a 5star review. But what means more to me than any of that was having a lawyer on my side that gave me all the confidence I needed to fight for my daughter. Someone who not only believed in me, but who made this fight so much easier. Also, I had 19 people with me on this day and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM were ALL amazed by her. Ughh, what a nightmare my life could have become, if I had not been fortunate enough to find Attorney Dakota Martin. I was wrongfully accused by the state for a crime I did not commit. Attorney Martin was beyond dedicated to ensuring I was not steamrolled by the state by clearly explaining the situation and tirelessly working to expedite a positive outcome in my case. For a process that can normally take 6 months to a year to complete, Dakota had my case dismissed in just 4 months. Every one claims their lawyer, just like their hairdresser is the best whethjer or not they got the best results. I have known Thomas Mccusker and his brother James...also an attorney for thirty years and they were both able to help me out of unfortunate circumstances with excellent results.
I was once faulsely accused of committing "domestic violence" back in the days when this was a very hot issue in our nation's media and men were bieng locked up on the most flimsy evidence imaginable as I was...and even though we had IMO a hostile DA, brother James easily managed from a jury of my peers a verdict of "Not Guilty,"
Another time, I was foolish enough to be involved in a much more serious situation and was indicted by a Federal Grand Jury...this time Thomas took the reins and managed "probation" on charges that could have brought me 15 years. I then went on to a rehab program and changed my life for the better. Thomas Knows his way around the court room. He is greeted on a first name basis by court officials and he is very well liked and respected and hje works hard to get you a good decision on the case..he doesnt just take a plea bargan without significant reduction in charges because he is confident in his ability to have the case resolved and prosecutors know this because Thomas is known to be a very articulate man in presenting a defence..
If you need an attorney...unless we can bring back Johnny Cocran...youi can't do much better than Thomas Mccusker. The Mccusker brothers are the best I have ever delt with by far...do yourself a favor and get the best...

At first glance Goodhines looked like the perfect attorney. Well groomed, well spoken, and said everything I wanted to hear. After that first time and after we all agreed that no money was owed he told me call me in a week so you can come down to my office and we'll put together a solid defense (sounds good to me).. I called a week later, left a message and nothing, no response. Did the same thing twice or 3 times a week for the next 3 months. I only received ONE CALL BACK FROM MR.GOODHINES AND IT WAS TO INSULT ME AND TELL ME HE DOESNT APPRECIATE ME GOING AROUND COMPLAINING ABOUT HIM! This only happened after I went to court clerk's office and asked if he had a new number by any chance because I couldn't seem to reach him. Clerks office sent him an email saying I (his client) couldn't get ahold of him. He went on to call me a liar without knowing that I expected this to happen therefore recorded and kept record of every call and message. When he saw that I really in fact did that he toned it down and told me it was all a misunderstanding from both parts which it wasn't but ok. He asked for another 3 months continuence on my court date only to do the same thing all over again.... I went to court yesterday and he wasn't there. No call, no show on a date that he specifically chose. The clerk magestrate got ahold of him after hours of texting and me explaining to the judge I couldn't get intouch with him, only to to receive a TEXT! FROM GOODHINES ASKING FOR ME TO GET ANOTHER ATTORNEY!! I GUESS HE TOOK THAT AS A SECOND COMPLAINT FROM MY PART AND LIKE I HE WARNED ME HE DIDNT APPRECIATE THAT!!.... 100% EXACTLY HOW IT WENT. This lawyer is currently my court appointed attorney. The first few times we met, without him looking into the evidence, he recommended a guily/insanity plea. After my own legal research, I discovered false evidence in my case. After presenting him prosecutorial misconduct, he has refused to promptly address the court of prosecutorial misconduct. I am currently incarcerated and he has ignored all communications and noshowed two times. I am now forced to have to pay for a lawyer who will actually fight for me. He's creating a HUGE conflict of interest. I feel like because he is court appointed and I did not pay for him, his representation is poor. As soon as I can, I'm reporting him to the BBO.
