James Knox took the time out of his busy day twice to speak with me about two cases, free of charge. After getting 2 letters from the JC, I was on the verge of a meltdown. I was in desperate need of top notch legal counsel and representation, and that's when I found the deservedly top-rated law firm of Raiser & Kenniff.
Mr. Kenniff is, like me, a veteran of the armed forces, having served honorably in wartime Iraq. He is also a former NYC prosecutor who was the GOP's 2021 nominee for the powerful office of Manhattan District Attorney. So Mr. Kenniff had the perfect background and mindset to be of invaluable assistance to my case.
I had never been in such a daunting situation. I survived being victimized by some deranged street lowlife with a criminal record 10 times as long as this review only to be victimized by the NYPD, and the Bronx DA's office. After figuring out what had happened, both rogue institutions became hellbent on seeing me finish my life in some upstate gulag where I would be surrounded 24/7/365 by people as bad or worse than the animal whose sudden violent attack I had successfully fended off. A heavy-hitter like Mr. K was needed to defend me from these enlightened despots.
The DA's office should never have filed charges against me. Besides the rank injustice of such an unnecessary and mean-spirited action, they had no evidence capable of meeting their evidential burden, even though that burden has gotten frighteningly lighter in recent years. Indeed, their only evidence was languishing in a solitary confinement unit on Riker's Island - where he should have been the night we met - and they had nothing but that maniac to go to the grand jury with. But the bitter old saying, "You can indict a ham sandwich" is true, especially in frightened Gotham, so it seemed likely I would still be put through the expense and ordeal of a full-blown criminal trial at some point down the road.
And I surely would have if the assistant DA didn't know who was representing me: the notorious and feared legal gunslingers Raiser & Kenniff! When “the People” noticed who was representing me, they realized they would have many, MANY hours of work ahead of them, and in the end would STILL lose. Thank God I had the great Tom Kenniff in my corner, and that meant there was no point wasting a lot of time and resources trying to railroad me into the clink. Four months after my arraignment, a mealy-mouthed, assistant DA requested the judge dismiss all charges against me. It was all I could do to exit the courtroom without twerking!
If you are in big trouble like I was don't fool around or shop around. Hire these well-known terminators and like me you'll be damned glad you did. :)

There are couple of rules that he would like to get rid of for my sake as he knows I would be reliable to do no such things harmful. This was my first time getting into this area of criminal. My head was expecting nothing. I'm totally clueless about myself, what do I do, what I have to do or what do i need to do. This review is way overdue but necessary. On 8/16/20 I was rear ended, so hard that my car projectiled forward despite my foot being solidly on the brake. I hit the Honda Pilot in front despite being a whole car length in front of me. Ms. Michael's assistant who lives in The Bronx accommodated me, and met me with all the necessary documents. She then immediately facilited my treatments and made such a horrible experience bearable. All of my needs were met and my case was resolved expeditiously. I could not say enough kind things about this man . I owned a small hobby farm in upstate NY . I was charged with doing something illegal against the animal welfare act and it was brought down to NYC. I originally hired a firm that told me my case was a win win no problem as they were just collecting money. After a one count conviction in a five day Trial in NYC. I fired the lawyers and hired Richard who was highly recommended by my civil lawyer to handle Post conviction and the sentencing and appeal. It was the best decision I made. Richard is tough but fair and the judge that tried my case in the southern district at sentencing even praised his work . Richard also met with me and the probation officer for sentencing It was very reassuring to have some one in your corner that is fighting for you for me it made all the difference he explained everything and did not let me believe lies thank you for everything Richard.

Ross Kofman responded to my online request for a criminal defense lawyer first and gave me immediate relief when I explained my situation to him. He told me most of the charges were bogus and would easily be dropped. Fortunately after 3 months of being in limbo, going to court dates once a month merely to hear the judge say, I see you've been making your check in appointments, good, come back next month, the case never went to trial and I was informed today that the charges are being dropped at my next court date. Lawyers are not cheap and not so easy to get on the phone after you hire them because sometimes their days are packed as they are always in court, but don't let that put you off from hiring these guys. They got me waived of quite a few bogus felony charges. They do their jobs well. I originally spoke to Ross and thought he would be my lawyer but Brad Leventhal showed up at my first court date and he did an excellent job with the proceedings, encouraging me assuring me that this would pass and it would be okay. These guys were half the price of the original lawyer I went to who wanted 20,000 upfront to cover the whole pretrial and trial. Thosev other guys told me it would be over by Christmas, for that exorbitant fee. Fortunately I went with these guys and only paid 10,000 because there was no trial and here we are right before Christmas getting dismissed. So relieved. Thank you guys. I just wanted to leave a quick review here because I picked Scott because of the reviews on this website he is not only a good attorney but a good person I hired him because of a nonsense arrest in which I received an appearance ticket for, and when I needed to go get fingerprinted I was apprehensive and afraid to go on my own so Scott came with me which is something I'm sure most attorneys would not do so if you need not only a good attorney but a decent human being you can't go wrong with him.
